The place is great! Amazing location, Walking distance from 2 “natural” pools and a very nice promenade where you can watch an amazing sunset. Right across from a shopping mall and super market. Practical access to a great sized parking spot. Very fast wifi (I managed to work remotely through several video calls without a glitch) and amazing ocean views. Would definitely recommend it.

Lovely apartment with amazing views from the balcony. Spotlessly clean. Lots of extras, hairdryer etc. Kitchen very well kitted out. Good selection of local shops restaurants and bars/cafes in walking distance. Beach close by all with lifeguards. Great selection of activities on the doorstep particularly diving Easy to catch bus to and from Funchal , wanted to do lots more but ran out of time. will definitely be back.

The host is very kind, helpful, and responsive. Everything in the apartment was exactly like the photos and the apartment was very clean when I arrived. The views are spectacular and the neighborhood is very quiet.

It is a nice apartment in the perfect location. Plaza Madeira (shopping mall) is literally around the corner. Everything in Funchal is within walking distance. And they also provided a bed and bowls for our dog. :)

One of the very best Airbnbs we have stayed in over 14 years and >40 bookings. Responsive host, incredible view, warm, bright and cosy rooms, located 3 minutes from two good food supermarkets and a gas station, and downtown in a 10-12 minute drive. If we return to Madeira we will come back here. Five-women cleaning team comes in once a week. Thank you Amr and your team.

Das Appartment ist sehr gut gelegen, Restaurants und Museen sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es auch eine Bushaltestelle, aber man sollte sich nicht darauf verlassen, dass die Busse zu den angegebenen Zeiten kommen. Die Wohnung war sauber und sehr groß. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Luís und Joana waren extrem hilfsbereit und haben immer schnell auf Fragen geantwortet. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!

Very nice place, swimming pool was great and very spacious and clean appartement. The dogs barking in the morning and the rooster was little downside.

We were so relieved to be able to find a place within walking distance to the NYE fireworks. This place worked out perfectly, and while it was expensive, considering the size and popularity of the event, it was very affordable. It was very easy to get into the main door and it was nice that there was a lobby area with some local wine and snacks to sample along with chairs and a pool table. Our room was easy to find and we got comfortable quickly. There was so much space and everything was clean! We also had a nice view from the living room window. The only struggle was that we had a rental car and just wanted to drop off our bags before returning our car. The road is narrow and it was challenging to pull over to just run in quickly. We managed it, but it was tricky. I'd recommend getting dropped off, if possible. Marcia was helpful and accommodating, but slow to reply, and sometimes needed a second message, but don't give up. The place is great!

Highly recommended! Very spacious and convenient apartment, offering a stunning view on the ocean. The apartment offers all necessary amenities, like washing machine, coffee machinę and a free parking space nearby. Great location, close to the old town, restaurants, cafes, shops, port. Great contact with the owners.

Die Lage des Appartements ist Super. Der Hafen und die Altstadt von Funchal sind auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Für die Verpflegung liegt ein Supermarkt gleich in der Nähe. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und für zwei Personen war die Größe ideal! Mit dem Mietwagen kommt man schnell aus der Stadt heraus um den Rest der Insel zu erkunden.

Communication with Luís and Joanna was prompt and informative. The unit was light, airy, private and very central within Funchal. It is spacious and catered really well for our needs. Quinta Torrinha was above and beyond our expectations. The grounds and property are absolutely stunning, the view and location is phenomenal, the accommodations made us feel right at home, and breakfast each morning was superb. I cannot sing its praises enough. The staff made us feel right at home and were always at the ready with fantastic recommendations for things to do and places to dine. Whether you want to explore Madeira, or simply take in the sun and relax poolside, you will not regret booking a room or an apartment here. It is state of the art, beautifully decorated, well-designed, but still has the restored charm of the original Quinta. There are many nooks and crannies to get lost in and admire. This is by far the best Airbnb experience I've had, and not simply because of the gorgeous estate, but because the hosts were gracious, kind, and made sure we could enjoy our vacation without a care in the world!
