We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

A lovely property with a beautiful view in a quiet and peaceful part of the island. Jose was very kind and super accommodating to a last minute change we required. We had a wonderful time!

We had an amazing stay at this adorable Santana cottage! The view was beyond stunning. The hosts are fantastic. They gave us a welcome basket and provided information about hikes and local restaurants.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön an einer sehr ruhigen Lage mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Es war alles sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet damit man sich ab dem ersten Moment nur wohlfühlen kann. Es hatte alles was man braucht, auch super fanden wir die vielen Küchenuntensilien und der Grill, den wir jeden Tag benutzten. Die Terrasse mit Whirpool,Lounge,Liegen und Tisch waren das Highlight. Wir verbrachten viel Zeit in der Unterkunft, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Der Strand Calheta ist 5min mitem Auto einfach zu erreichen und sehr empfehlenswert. Auch fanden wir den Privatparkplatz super. Bruno und Maria sind sehr zuvorkommend und fragten auch nach wie es uns geht und ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, sehr ruhig, viel privatsphäre und doch gelangen wir mitem Auto überall hin. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Bruno und Maria. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft! Die Lage ist ideal – etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, aber mit einem schönen (aber sehr steilen) 30-minütigen Spaziergang gut erreichbar. In direkter Umgebung gibt es einen gut sortierten Supermarkt und einen super Obst- und Gemüseladen, in dem man zu einheimischen Preisen einkauft – ganz im Gegensatz zu den überteuerten Preisen in der Markthalle von Funchal. Zudem befindet sich eine der besten Bäckereien der Stadt in der Nähe – ein echtes Highlight! Die Unterkunft selbst ist top ausgestattet, sauber und bietet mit ihrer Terrasse einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Hafen und Teile der Stadt. Den ganzen Tag über genießt man Sonne, inklusive traumhafter Abendsonne. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen – wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Great place to stay in Canical and explore Madeira with a car. Has nice kitchen with everything you need to cook, even with oven, microwave, toaster. Big fridge. Even has a washing machine. Great host, very friendly and responsive. 10/10 recommend

Wir (zwei Schwestern) haben eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Ferienwohnung auf Madeira verbracht. Der Empfang durch José war sehr herzlich, er hat uns tolle Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflüge gegeben. Die Wohnung ist sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und mit vielen liebevollen Details versehen – von Seife und Toilettenpapier bis hin zu Salz, Pfeffer und anderen kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten war alles da. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der traumhafte Blick auf das Meer und die umliegende Landschaft – einfach unvergesslich! Die Lage ist ideal, um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We wanted for nothing at our apartment in Funchal. The space was very well stocked and very quiet when the windows were closed. The view from the second floor was exquisite at night and the location was perfect for walking to excellent pastel de nata, restaurants and attractions. We appreciated the balconies for enjoying morning coffee and always felt safe coming to and from. Highly recommend location for exploring all Funchal has to offer.

Also der Aufenthalt war von der ersten Minute entspannt und man wurde herzlich aufgenommen. Sogar am Parkplatz wurden wir empfangen! 🤩 Nach der Einweisung in die Gegebenheiten war immer ein Ansprechpartner da. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen es ist jeden Cent wert.

Logement impeccable, avec beaucoup de d’appareil, une très belle vue sur la mer. Non loin des activités et visites à faire à Madère. Je conseille les yeux fermés. Seul petit bémol le parking, soit payant, soit se garer en bord de route

The place was perfect for our stay. We had the bonus of a flower festival going on within several hundred yards of the apartment. Also, there was live music and food and wine vendors. As well as a park directly across the street. loved that there was a little deck to sit on in the morning to plan our day. The bed was comfortable. The shops just up the street were much better prices than the shops on the main street. Love the neighborhood feel. Our host was very responsive.

Serene sea side getaway with beautiful ocean views and plenty of food options nearby. If you want to explore the Western side of the island this is the perfect spot to serve as a launchpad for said adventures. Amazingly comfortable bed and stunning place to catch the sunset. Two thumbs up!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home in Madeira! The place was spotlessly clean and located in a great area, perfect for exploring the island. One of the highlights was waking up in the master bedroom to a stunning view of the ocean. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it easy to cook meals when we felt like staying in. Maria was an exceptional host – kind, responsive, and always ready to help with any information or recommendations we needed. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madeira. We’d love to come back!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

Logement fonctionnel dans une résidence sécurisée avec Parking. Un petit balcon est très appréciable. L’autre est d’un accueil des plus chaleureux avec beaucoup de recommandations et de conseils de site exceptionnels à visiter. Attention deux lits séparés dans la chambre.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Apartment :)! Es ist sehr zentral gelegen und alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Dachterrasse war ein besonderes Highlight. Vielen Dank für die vielen Tipps!

Great apartment within walking distance to the center of Funchal. Exactly like the pictures and the terrace is really amazing! Very quiet neighbourhood to stay, even with the ongoing construction sites nearby. Parking space is a real plus as well.

Superbe appartement ! Parfait pour un séjour a Madère. Le logement est tout équipé avrc une salle de bain par chambre ce qui est très pratique pour un groupe de voyageurs, la résidence avec piscine est un vrai plus. Je recommande fortement ce logement. Hôte disponible pour toute question.

Verblijf van 12 dagen. Prachtig appartement met terras op de 6e verdieping, uitzicht op zee. Lift aanwezig. De inrichting van het appartement is zeer smaakvol! Slechts 15 minuten lopen naar het oude centrum en de boulevard. Host Carlos is zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en reageert snel. Goede supermarkt met vriendelijke mensen om de hoek, evenals 'snackbar' voor een koffie, drankje met wat lekkers. Jardim Santa Luzia op 5 minuten lopen. Mooi park met prachtige bomen en een 'snackbar'. Je voelt je hier meteen thuis en bij terugkeer naar Madeira zullen we dan ook zeker weer voor dit appartement van Carlos kiezen. Een echte aanrader!
