Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mackinac County

A great place to stay. It was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with all the desired amenities. Lester was friendly and communicated well. He cleared the snow before we arrived and offered to clear the snow again during our stay. We will be return customers and will recommend to family and friends.

The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

The bonfire at this house is truly amazing! In the early morning, you'll be gently awakened by the pleasant sound of wind chimes. The room's décor has a cozy cabin feel to it. It’s definitely spacious enough for five people, and we stayed here very comfortably.

Eight of us (4 siblings and spouses) spent three nights here. We had a great view of the bridge and a very peaceful location. Host did a great job, house was very well stocked and extremely clean. Highly recommended!

We truly loved staying at Amy’s home. She communicated with us perfectly from before booking through checkout. All communication gave us every piece of information we needed from check in to check out. She also answered any questions quickly. She left some fun check-in items and notes. The home is so beautiful and clean. A perfect location for family or a group of friends. We had four sets of couples and the home was a perfect location for us, close to downtown St Ignace where our event was located but far enough away so it was peaceful and not located in town. We are planning to see if the home is available for us again next year, unless our group grows.

Beautiful lake! Were up there in the snow and it was amazing 🤩 Warm house, functional kitchen, lots of space ❤️ Not a lot of hot water at a time, but enough to get things done

The place was amazing! I was there for work and it fit my needs. I’ve loved the area for a while and if I ever wanted a getaway, that’s my spot! Coming to Curtis I will check Staci’s home for availability first!

Spent a few days snowmobiling out of this place. Was a great place to stay.

This was our third year at the Captain’s cabin. The cabin is right on the water which is a long sandbar perfect for kids or pets. The public boat ramp is a short walk away and perfectly maintained. St. Ignace is close by as are Sault Ste. Marie and other attractions. Unlike many rentals, the cabin has absolutely everything a visitor would need in the kitchen. Moreover, our dog is not just allowed but welcomed. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home… it was like stepping into your family’s cottage! We loved the layout and decor, the deck and the dock, and the location! Lots of fun and relaxation :) Betsy was kind, responsive, and welcoming… and I loved the thoughtfulness of her instructions and local recommendations. Highly recommend!

To say we enjoyed our stay would be an understatement! The view from the living room/main bedroom is breathtaking. The silence is filled with songs of birds, leafs, wind and overwhelming beauty. We spent days in/on the water, evenings watching VHS movies and nights amazed by the bright stars

This place is awesome, away from the busy life in town. Dustin recommended Johnnys on US 2 in St. Ignace, and it did not disappoint! We cooked over the fire and had a fire each night during our stay. Dustin is very friendly and helpful we cannot wait to return, this was a total rustic Northern getaway. The beach is very close too, great for swimming and relaxing. Thank you so much for making our vacation a perfect stay!

Kristina is an absolutely fantastic host- 5 stars! Extremely responsive and awesome!! The a-frame is awesome and the site is beautiful, everything from the outdoor cooking area to the Kayaks and everything in between. My family had an amazing time stargazing from the deck and watching all of the wildlife during the day- the lake is so peaceful and serene. Everything you need (and more) is here, the beds were also amazingly comfortable- We recommend 200% Thanks for sharing this slice of perfection! We had a lovely 4 day weekend that included a 166 mile bike race on Saturday morning (Moran) and a ton of relaxation and awesome food/family time/ etc- A++ awesomeness, THANK YOU!!

Our stay was wonderful! We enjoyed the location as it was close to the ferry we took to Mackinac Island two different days. It was peaceful and nice having a full kitchen. We will definitely come back!
