Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Machos

Puerto Rico PERFECTION! We spent 5 blissful weeks with the most amazing view we have ever seen! Nestled between the mountains and the sea with rainbows, coqui frogs, tropical fruit trees and CHICKENS! Close to everything, but a quiet, private paradise. Well appointed and supplied with anything and everything we wanted or needed. Lynne and Omar are SO MUCH FUN! The fenced in yard was ideal for our fur baby. The house was spacious, airy and oh so comfortable. Sunrise coffee on the upper terrace was our favorite part of the day. Centrally located and the perfect home base for exploring all the beaches, mountains and parks. Fantastic gym just a few minutes away and the adorable town of Ceiba was friendly and full of great restaurants and bars. Close to Fajardo, Luquillo, Naguabo and El Yunqu. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Ashely was a super hostess! She was easy to reach, flexible,and always willing to be of any assistance. When the power went out, she helped me set up the generator over on the phone and even came by to help set it up. She is a gracious hostess and her place is beautiful and very clean. It has every amenity and Air BNB could need! I loved staying here !

Maria was a great host! There was nothing we could have asked for that she did not provide. The house was roomy and decorated nicely. I would definitely recommend her place. I would book with her again. Thank you, Maria, for the wonderful hospitality.

Nos encantó la casa. Estaba en un buen vecindario, súper tranquilo y silencioso, ideal para desconectarte del bullicio. La casa muy bonita, organizada y sobre todo limpia, tenía de todo para la estadía. Lo mejor, que estaba cerca de todo, en nuestra estadía lo más que pudimos haber llegado a guiar fueron como unos 10 minutos, ya que habían lugares para comer, farmacias, sitios de helados y playas muy cerca del alojamiento. En definitiva, para una próxima podemos considerar el alojamiento de Beatriz para volver a quedarnos.

This place is perfect. Has every amenity you could think of, and the salt water pool is amazing. If I could give them 20 stars, I would. Thank you Nathan for being flexible allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We will definitely be back.

The home was beautiful. It was much closer to the ferry for Culebra than I thought. Maybe 10mins away. Grocery and fast food 5mins away. Peaceful, exactly what we were looking for and more. The home was full of extra items like beach equipment, cooler, first aid kits. Coffee for the morning.

We had a great stay! We decided to stay in Ceiba because we had planned a trip to Culebra and the house was so close to the port. The place was clean, easy to access, and we had no issues during our stay. Also, there are great places to eat around the area!

Saying this place was Perfect seems exaggerated but that’s how we felt about this wonderful home. It gorgeous, modern, immaculate and had everything we needed. But the view was the show stopper. You have lush vegetation, fruit trees, hills, the ocean and from one side a view of El Yunke Rainforest. All of this with our own private heated pool. We didn’t even want to leave to eat but had to get some wonderful Puerto Rican food. We are already planning on when we can stay again. It’s a breathtaking paradise. We had a wonderful time. We highly recommend it!!

Going back home to Puerto Rico after 7 years was a big deal, considering that it was also right after I finished up chemotherapy. We wanted somewhere in my hometown of Ceiba and close to everything else. This trip was everything I needed it to be and more. This stay at Costa Esmeralda was great, communication was great, close by things we wanted to do and a relaxing/ quiet 🤐 lace to come back to after busy days.

El anfitrión es super amable, respetuoso, contestó todas mis dudas de una manera rápida y respetuosa. Todo estaba con en las fotos. Lo recomiendo 100% para pasarlo en familia.

This place was outstanding one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed at. It was clean well kept and had everything you would need I wish we stayed more days but we got to experience everything in the one day we stayed and the private rooftop with the grill, bar, and games was top tier. The host was amazing my family and I are definitely coming back and staying the entire trip

We really enjoyed our stay here! Victoria was a great host and very responsive when we reached out. We enjoyed the views and close proximity to the ferry and things in town.

This place is definitely 5 stars ! We had a late arrival and the hosts made sure to communicate with us they also stood up to ensure we made it safe even though it was extremely late! Although the place has no elevator it is worth taking a few trips up and down to bring any luggage. We had a trip prior so we had a few luggage’s but not a deal breaker ! Upon entering unit it smelled clean and was very clean throughout which is a plus for us ! The unit is beautiful ! Same as pictures.The place has everything you can possibly need to feel right at home, from toiletries to beach gear . I did suggest an umbrella but they had coolers ,chairs ,towels a bog bag plenty for a beach day. We had a welcome basket with water and some snacks! We also booked the place because of the pool and gym but unfortunately they were renovating and painting so we didn’t get much use from it , won’t fault the hosts they just weren’t notified ! The outdoor area is huge and had beautiful views! Worth booking !

Mi familia y yo hemos usado este Airbnb antes. Nos gusta porque la ubicación es perfecta para visitar otros lugares en el área, el uso de la terraza y la piscina es perfecta. El apartamento estaba limpio y contaba con todo lo que necesitabamos.

This 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment with rooftop terrace with ocean views was the perfect fit for our family vacation. It is just a few minute drive to the ferry terminal making a day outing to Culebra Island possible. A day trip to San Juan is also easily done. The apartment is modern, well appointed, and fully air conditioned. Communication with Yanira was excellent! Fully recommended!

The property was amazing and the hosts were very responsive. We stayed at the property for three months. The condo is well furnished, but we had to purchase additional kitchen items since we cooked at the property for our meals. We had some initial issues with the wifi not reaching all rooms in the property, but once we moved the wireless router, we were able to set up two work stations at the property to handle our telecommuting. The closest beach (Los Machos) is a 25 minute walk from the property. We wish that there were grocery stores located close by, but we used the Avis rental (20 minute walk) if we needed a car for grocery shopping or exploring Puerto Rico. We loved the fact that the ferry to Culebra and Vieques is only a few miles away. The rooftop area gives you an amazing view of the surrounding area and the ocean in the distance. With the frequent breezes, it is very pleasant sitting on the roof and enjoying the views.

Beautiful place with an amazing view. We really enjoyed our short stay here. Definitely would recommend especially if needing to be close to the ferry!

Amy was very responsive, respectful and accommodating. The place is very quiet, cozy, perfect for a retreat away from everything and recharge energies. The location is great, closed to everything we wanted to see and do. The visit was perfect. We will reserve it again in the future!

The unit was clean and comfortable for our party of six. There are three flights to climb to get to unit. Good exercise but could be challenging for someone with mobility problems. Felt very safe. Very close to ferry and a short drive to groceries and food. I recommend picking up groceries on the way there. We enjoyed our stay. AC worked great. There were beach towels, chairs and umbrella. And a couple of water toys. The coffee maker is an expresso machine. No filters need. There was coffee and sugar. Overall we had a great time and felt comfortable and safe. The host responded quickly and efficiently to our questions and requests. Thank you would definitely consider staying here again.
