We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved our time. The view was brilliant — truly one of the most beautiful we’ve seen. Andrea was a fantastic host — welcoming, thoughtful, and kind. He even surprised us with a bottle of wine, which was such a lovely touch. The hot tub experience was extraordinary and added so much to the stay. We also checked out a little late, and Andrea was kind enough to accommodate us without any hassle. I would highly recommend this place to anyone — it’s a perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty around. Thank you, Andrea!

Enricos Rustico ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und im Haushalt findet man alles, was man braucht. Mit dem ÖV sehr gut erreichbar, so dass wir im ganzen Tal super schöne Wanderungen machen konnten. Jetzt im Mai sind wir kaum anderen Wanderern begegnet. Im Dorf gibt es zwei Restaurants, aber keinen Laden, also Lebensmittel mitbringen, wenn man eine Weile in dieser archaischen Welt ohne Menschenmassen sein möchte oder sonst in den schön gelegenen Restaurants essen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden, in der Schweiz noch so stille Orte gefunden zu haben. Vielen Dank an Enrico!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

da wir voriges jahr bereits hier waren, kannten wir natürlich alles schon. für uns waren die paar tage wieder sehr erholsam und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. die wohnung ist zwar über 3 etagen verteilt aber das hat uns nicht gestört. auch dass kein fernseher vorhanden ist, können wir nur als vorteil sehen. mal weg vom alltag und dem ganzen luxuskram. es gibt genügend andere möglichkeiten im tessin. das ist luxus genug. vielen dank, gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit zwei Teenagern im Urlaub und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Sehr geräumige Unterkunft mit spektakulärem Ausblick. Es war alles vorhanden, was den Familienurlaub erleichtert. Ausflüge ins Umland sind wegen günstiger Lage sehr gut möglich. Trotz Regen super Zeit gehabt. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Der Aufenthalt bei Donatella war sehr schön. Sie ist eine herzliche uns freundliche Gastgeberin. Eine kleine ältere Wohnung mit allem notwendigen was man braucht. Zu Fuss kann man ins Dorf spazieren und gegenüber in der Bar einkehren als auch Kleinigkeiten des täglichen Bedarfs einkaufen.

Nicholas’s place in Cadegliano Viconago was perfect. The house is clean, cozy, and has amazing views. It’s in a quiet, beautiful village but still close to Lake Lugano and Switzerland. Nicholas was a great host—very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Our stay with Emanuele was fantastic! From the moment we booked to the time we checked out, Emanuele was incredibly responsive and helpful. His quick responses to our questions made planning our trip a breeze. The property was impeccably clean, and we felt right at home. Emanuele’s website also provided great local tips and dining suggestions, which helped us discover some hidden gems in Brunate and Como. Tout était parfait , juste une remarque , la voiture est indispensable , l appartement est superbement bien situé , dans une résidence de haut standing , environnement très calme , reposant. Mais pour s approvisionner , c est le parcours du combattant , il faut prévoir .

We had a serene, peaceful & wonderful time staying at Silvia’s place. We felt totally at home and we couldn’t get over how amazing the views were! The home is lovely and cosy and we enjoyed having breakfasts outside in the crisp mornings & lighting the fire in the evenings as we cosied up. Everything was clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans and utensils which made it easy for us to cook our own meals whilst we were there. The pool area is stunning and we enjoyed playing on the tennis table too. We loved seeing Silvia’s animals around the grounds including extremely friendly cats, dogs & even some tortoises! Silvia was extremely responsive and helpful and she was there to personally greet us as we drove toward the property. She gave us great local recommendations and was a very polite and sweet lady. The area itself is breathtakingly beautiful, we felt like we had the place to ourselves as we wandered the streets of gravedona. Would recommend!

I recommend this apartment loft! It has beautiful views of Lake Como from the small village of Perledo which is in the mountains above Varenna. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with lots of amenities. We used the spa and heated pool which was nice. Signing up for a time slot wasn’t a problem as there was lots of availability. I recommend renting a car to drive around unless you wait for the bus and ferry schedules. There isn’t anything within walking distance so have a means of transportation to get to Varenna (10 minutes down the mountain). We had the best time and Andrea was very helpful and informative. If we had any questions we got a quick response. 10/10 recommend!!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. La vue est magnifique et l’environnement est propice au repos et à la déconnexion. Le jacuzzi et la piscine sont vraiment des plus qui permettent de passer un séjour inoubliable ! Attention, il est indispensable d’avoir une voiture ! Le logement est situé très haut dans les montagnes. Pas de commerce accessibles à pieds.

Wir waren vier Tage in der Unterkunft und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es gibt alles, was man braucht. Es lohnt sich auch, einmal zu Fuß in den Ort zu laufen und durch die kleinen Gässchen zu schlendern. Unten an der Hauptstraße gibt es einen kleinen Feinkostladen, der es uns sehr angetan hat. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten ist man in Stresa und in 20 Minuten in Arona, wo man gut shoppen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

Really attractive home with a great pool and pleasant garden, just out of town definitely need a car to explore the local area, which we did. Enjoyed the restaurants in Laveno. Monica is a great host and lovely and friendly. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Daria’s place over a long weekend. If you are looking for peace and quiet and an area where to explore both Lago Maggiore and the surrounding mountains look no further! The place is actually bigger than how it looks in the pictures.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit am Lago Maggiore – trotz des durchwachsenen Wetters! Fast durchgehend Regen hielt uns nicht davon ab, den Aufenthalt in Monicas traumhafter Wohnung in vollen Zügen zu genießen. Die Unterkunft bietet echten Luxus und Komfort: Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet (inklusive Entsafter, Wok, kleinen Olivenschälchen und vielem mehr), sodass wir das schlechte Wetter ideal nutzen konnten, um ausgiebig zu kochen. Besonders schön war es auch, gemütlich vor dem Kamin zu lesen oder auf dem Balkon am Innenhof den Regen zu beobachten. Cannobio ist eine charmante kleine Stadt – der Wochenmarkt am Sonntag und Donnerstag ist absolut empfehlenswert! Monica war eine hervorragende Gastgeberin: unglaublich freundlich, offen und stets hilfsbereit. Unsere kulinarische Empfehlung: Oggi Pasta & Trattoria Cannobio (zwar etwas teurer, aber wirklich köstlich)! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall im Sommer wieder, freuen uns schon auf eine Wanderung zum Monte Giove und auf eine Bootstour au

Leonardo war ein toller Gastgeber, hat jederzeit auf Nachrichten reagiert. Die Lage der Unterkunft war fantastisch, die Aussicht auf Berge und See war traumhaft. Die Einrichtung war geschmackvoll, das Bad gerade frisch saniert. Einzig Küchen- und Geschirrausstattung war sehr schlicht. Wunderbar ist die gesamte Umgebung, fußläufig sind Restaurants, Wanderwege und ein ursprüngliches Bergdorf erreichbar. Wir hatten eine erholsame und traumhafte Zeit mit unserem Hund.

Das Haus bietet genügend Platz für 4 Personen und ist sehr gut gelegen, da man den nächsten Lebensmittelladen sowie den Strand bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Auto kann man immer problemlos auf den 2 privaten Parkplätzen parken, von denen einer überdacht ist. Der Strand hat ausreichend Bäume und somit genug Schatten. Das Restaurant direkt am Strand verkauft leckere Pizza und andere Speisen. Die Ortschaft ist sehr schön zum Spazieren und wir hatten sogar das Glück, ein Stadtfest mitzuerleben.

Die Aussicht war grandios und abwechslungsreich. Einfacher Check-in und Check-out. Alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit.

Really nice apartment with a great view and a shared swimming pool. Miki is a great host whom we coordinated check-in & -out accordingly. As she lives in the apartment complex, too, she's easy to reach.

Laura has her super host tag for a reason! She’s super responsive, extremely warm, friendly & organised. You also couldn’t wish for a better location - the apartment overlooks the main promenade and proved to be a wonderful escape on the hottest of days. We sat out on the balcony, cooled by gentle breezes, book & glass of wine in hand and watched the world go by... Of course there are many cafes & restaurants within easy walking distance & we availed ourselves of those too! There’s plenty of free parking in a huge lot nearby, water sports available at the beach at one end of the promenade and boats to hire at the other end. We’d love to stay again!

Terrazza sur lago surpassed expectations! We chose to come in from Lugano by Uber (a new service just offered in 2025), from there you do have some stairs to negotiate to the beautiful apartment. However, another option is to take a scenic ferry ride from Lugano to Gandria if you have time and want fewer stairs. Once you arrive, you will find the sparkling clean apartment better than the photos. The kitchen is spacious and very well fit out. A nice dining table provides great views of Lago Lugano. Two spacious bedrooms, both offer great lake views, one with a walk-out to a large patio area, with table, chairs, umbrella and comfy furniture for kicking back. We ate every breakfast out there taking in the lake. A quick 10 minute Uber ride puts you in Lugano - tons of restaurants, shopping and nite life. It’s also a 10 minute drive to the funicular for Mounte Bré (great views and hikes). In town - try the Olive Trail hike in Gandria or take a ferry tour of the lake. Bellissimo!
