We felt very comfortable in Matina's apartment. The location is perfect for walks and swimming in the Maggia or Melazza - which our dog also liked. Gladly again!

Perfect apartment for your stay in Locarno

Already upon arrival we realized: We will not visit this place for the last time! The four days here were just amazing. Katja and Alfredo took care of our well-being with a lot of warmth and attention. The apartment is a dream – lovingly decorated, immaculately clean, well equipped and with an incredibly comfortable bed. We slept wonderfully, it was wonderfully quiet. You can immediately feel that Katja and Alfredo know what real hospitality means. Even the loving welcome gifts have shown how welcome we are here. For us there are more than five stars – a heartfelt thank you and: ci vediamo!

Arrival to Casa Gialla and check-in was extremely easy. The cozy, small apartment fully met our expectations and we felt very comfortable. We enjoyed the tranquility of the valley and the house. The small, sunny balcony with magnificent views of the valley was a highlight for us. The bed is large and the mattress is great! The communication with Carmen was always prompt and accommodating. If an issue arises, Carmen responds immediately and ensures that all guests are happy and satisfied. She is a friendly and good host and we highly recommend Casa Gialla.

We spent a long weekend at the apartment and were very happy with our stay. It was easy to find, and Daniela made the check-in process seamless by providing clear instructions in advance. She also shared plenty of tips for local activities and restaurants. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed from cooking essentials to laundry facilities. Although the parking area next to the house was sometimes full in the evenings, there was also some space where you could park just up the road, so it wasn’t an issue. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place.

This Airbnb is lovely, very modern on the inside and in a peaceful location away from the city. It’s perfect if you want tranquility but still well located for things to do nearby in Lugano. The place was spacious and clean and perfect for us as a family of four.

Everything is as described and in the photos. Easy to reach in 10 minutes from the bus station. Beautiful historic building with stylish décor.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was super equipped and totally clean and inviting. We felt right at home. The kitchen was even set up so that you hardly had to bring anything from home. The view was also fantastic and the climb to the house is definitely worth it. Tobias is a great host! Cristian was very proactive, responsive, and professional. If you want to visit Lake Como I highly recommend this place. I will likely stay here again if I visit Como in the future. Beautiful views and a one of a kind terrace/rooftop to enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks.

Quirky yet traditional place with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Location is great (the parking spot really helped!) - close to Locarno, Ascona and the Valle Verzasca. Carlos was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend

Wow! We have fallen in love with Varenna! We are so happy that we booked Marco and Syliva's wonderful apartment who were very welcoming! A breathtaking (beyond words or photos) view awaits you in the apartment. Everything was as pictured and even better. The terrace outside was an extra bonus! Large and private with an incredible view of course. The beds were very, very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless - good size, all the amenities and the shower was very nice with good water pressure and hot water. The apartment is up the hill from the ferry and quiet and peaceful. A short walk (5 min) brings you into the main square of the town. Varenna is small, so everything is close. Restaurants amazing! Al Prato and il Cavatappi were great! The Monastery & Villa Capressi - gorgeous! We took a boat ride. We toured other amazing villas too. Plenty of room for me and my husband & our adult daughter. Ciao and Grazie Marco & Sylvia!

What a beautiful property. The accommodations are stunning and very well done. Kitchen is equipped well for light meals to enjoy in the fabulous garden terrace with the most amazing views of the lake. We truly enjoyed the space and the terrace. The renovation to this property was done with care and attention to detail, with contemporary and clean Italian design. Functional and beautiful. Nicholas was an amazing host. He helped us with food recommendations, reservations, beach clubs or any information or help we needed. Couldn’t recommend this property more. Will definitely be booking again on our next trip to lake Como!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place was exactly as described – clean, stylishly decorated and equipped with everything you might need. We particularly liked the quiet location and the comfortable bed. The bus stop right in front of the apartment was also very convenient. The host was very friendly and helpful, the check-in was completely uncomplicated. We will come back and can absolutely recommend the apartment!

We were there for a family wedding which was nearby so was the perfect location. The building had been an old monastery which has been sympathetically and very tastefully renovated it was fantastic we had our own courtyard with loungers table and chairs, beautiful touches throughout can’t rate our stay highly enough 100%. What stood out was Luca himself he helped us enormously. We had a family dinner planned in the neighbouring town but found it impossible to get a taxi bearing in mind it was a Sunday and maybe not as many available even Luca tried but no luck so he took us in his car to the venue which I thought was amazing khe also helped to carry our luggage when we arrived and when we left very very helpful.5stars for the house and 6stars for the host.

The communication was perfect, Davide always responded super quickly and gave very detailed, helpful instructions. The flat was lovely, just perfect for two people. The flat is not located in a busy, buzzing place, like other some of the towns in Lake Como but we preferred that. We could walk to the ferry in Urio or Moltrasio and get around easily. Some gorgeous restaurants close by. Thank you Davide and Benedicta, we'd lvoe to come back one day :).
