There is a driveway all the way up to the cabin. 20 minutes drive away you will find Jørpeland with a good selection of shops and restaurants. Same driving distance to go to Pulpit Rock. This property is in a beautiful location right on the seafront with its own pier in front of the cottage. Parking just behind the cottage. The cottage is 90 m2. Great family apartment on the ground floor with amazing view to Lysefjorden. That's as close to the fjord as you can get. The apartment has a double terrace door out to the fjord. You will have a feeling of being "at sea" as you enter the apartment. Large bedroom with double bed, with the possibility of shutting down two extra beds if you are many who will be sharing the apartment. The second bedroom has a family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.

Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
