We enjoyed a delightful long weekend at Croft 41. The house was perfect for our needs (two families with kids), the location absolutely stunning, and the wood-fired hot tub was also real highlight! Rachel is a very friendly and communicative host. Would definitely return in the future if we were looking to stay in this beautiful corner of Skye.

Cladaich Lodge is a beautiful property in the most stunning location! Fantastic lodge which is so well equipped and styled. The views are amazing! Anne and Ian and great hosts whho are very responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend a stay here and we also hope to come back one day.

It’s a wonderful place to stay! One of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s also centrally located on the Isle of Skye, which makes it a strategic spot to spend a few days. The accommodation is perfect and very peaceful ! Thank you Mags

Everything you need can be found in this beautiful cottage. Beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity. Add to that the view of the Isle of Skye and the immediate vicinity of the great Glenelg Inn with suberp food. What more could you want?

Wonderful stay here! The location is spectacular and we enjoyed relaxing in Portree and taking in the views without even leaving our front door. Fun shops, restaurants, and nature walks all nearby without needing to drive. Comfortable beds, plenty of space, and clean. We found the location and decor very special for a true Skye experience. Hope to come back someday!

When we arrived at Juliet’s cottage we instantly knew we were in for a treat. With lambs and bunnies literally outside the front door - we felt fully immersed in nature. The cottage has been beautifully decorated with extra special touches including the local artwork and textiles. We absolutely loved our stay, and feel incredibly grateful that we were lucky enough to experience Skirnish Cottage whilst on a trip visiting Scotland (where my family is originally from) with our 1 year old before our next baby arrives!

Very cozy house. Everything is designed to make vacationers comfortable: space in and on the cupboards, a clothes rack, a coffee maker. Very professional. The environment is particularly peaceful. Three houses down, an inn where we spent a very Scottish evening with bagpipes, guitar and bombard with beer etc, full of people. Recommended by Joël. The food looked great. My partner and I enjoyed a fantastic stay here. Situated in idyllic surroundings, the pod is cosy, homely and spacious. It is kept impeccably clean and has all the essentials required for a comfortable visit. I would wholeheartedly recommend to others!

Norman and Leona are very friendly and great hosts. The cottage was cosy clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is looking out to the most beautiful beach and scenery. 5min walk to beach. If you like peace and tranquility this is the place to stay. It's location is ideal to travel to other parts of the island. Norman and Leona are around if you need help with anything but they do not intrude on your privacy. I would definitely recommend to stay here. Thank you Norman and Leona we had an amazing holiday.

It is a peaceful place with great location. Directly located at the beach, has a great view even from inside. There are couple of great restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. Debbie was a great host and extremely friendly to us. Highly recommended.

The most beautiful views from the decking - breathtaking. Very peaceful and relaxing. The chalet is very well set up with everything you need for your stay. There were a couple of spoilers - were the whole front window where the view should be is a ‘blown’ pane of glass that makes it very difficult to see the view .. and no beach access as the steps down were broken. Sadly took something away from our stay. Even so I would highly recommend

We loved our stay at Karen's place! The pod was apparently wider than a usual one, affording quite a bit of space in the center. We had a sofa, full kitchen area, small but workable bathroom, and a very nice bed. In addition to that, we had a spectacular view! The 10+ miles of single track road were a bit daunting, and in fact contributed to our choice to stay "home" more than we might have expected, but absolutely well worth the drive. Karen and her husband were delightful and always helpful. We would definitely return here again and I can recommend it very highly.

There is not enough space in this box for me to express how lovely Fiona and her cottage are! Everything is exactly as pictured (actually even more beautiful than pictured) and Fiona is lovely, incredibly responsive to any messages and happy to go above and beyond for any questions that I had. Everything in the cottage is clearly labeled with helpful instructions for use, and Fiona reviewed everything with me at check-in as well. I was traveling alone, and she checked in with me several times to make sure I was comfortable and ensure that everything was going well. A minor repair was needed while I was there and Fiona's husband quickly addressed it and was very considerate with ensuring the repair was done at a time that I would be out. The surroundings are peaceful and incredibly beautiful. I will absolutely be back!

We loved this place. Truly beautiful surroundings, right on the waterfront. Nice little pub up the road that does good food and a small well stocked shop. The house was lovely. Very comfortable. Thank you!

We absolutely loved it I think this has made Lewis our new favourite island. I saw most of the marine life I was wanting to see from the balcony: seals and birds. The kitchen was great for cooking and eating in. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

One of the BEST Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at in terms of thoughtfulness, cleanliness & instructions. Not exaggerating. The location & view is outstanding & the whole experience idyllic. They really did think of everything a guest could need or want while touring Isle of Skye. None of us wanted to leave & we all would go back. Easy checkin/checkout. Many recommendations & clear instructions. We were so grateful for all the thoughtful touches & uncluttered space. I think a highlight for our party was simply the layout of the downstairs which was perfect for a dinner in with a view. We just enjoyed spending time there & wished we could be there longer. The cottage was adorable and the location absolutely beautiful! We spent some time on the beach soaking in the sunset over the water. Phil was a fantastic host - super attentive and informative. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We have just had a fantastic family holiday in Mark's beautiful house in Ardelve. The house is very spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with top quality furnishings and equipment and we especially liked the large living room, modern kitchen and using the games room. The house sits right on Loch Alsh and has incredible views towards the Five Sisters which have got to be up there with the very best in Scotland. The family made a lot of use of the loch to both swim and Kayak on and we managed to see a seal and a sea eagle every day from the house's large windows. Ardelve is also a wonderful location, as it gives you easy access to the Isle of Skye , loch Carron with the stunning village of Plockton and walking round the loch to the world famous Eilean Donan castle. Eating out and take away options in the area are also excellent particularly for seafood & fresh fish and is a must to try for any visitor. We loved our time at the But N Ben and will certainly return in the future.

We had an incredible stay at Aline Lodge. The lodge is really beautiful - top marks for all the fires having firewood, firefighters, and matches all ready to go. The electric Aga means the kitchen is always warm, and the view is world class. We went fishing twice (caught 11 trout!), clay pigeon shooting, used the sauna, and played table tennis and billiards. The kids went out on the boat around the loch and saw sea eagles, golden eagles, seals and a porpoise. Robert the gamekeeper was great - really responsive and happy to help. Could not recommend this highly enough - we will be back!

A little piece of Heaven. Fantastic house, surrounding and view. We fought for the couch to bird watch over tidal pool. Can't say enough about this property and our host. Until next time.

We stayed in this house as a party of five (parents + two teenagers + grandpa), and found the house perfectly laid out for a group. Each bedroom has its own en-suite, which was so convenient, and the living area and kitchen had plenty of seating for us to congregate around. The washer and dryer were super helpful for doing laundry (a rack and small fans are provided too, to finish off any clothes still damp from the condensation dryer). We didn't do any super complicated cooking, but the cooking we did was easy with the double oven, stovetop, and dishwasher. The view is unbeatable. Like just something from a postcard. We'd sit down in the morning and mean to turn something on the TV and end up staring out the window instead. We were there during a blustery GALE and the house was still completely airtight and snug, no drafts or anything. Uig is a bit more far-flung (although it has a couple restaurants and a shop), so be sure to plan for groceries and drives accordingly.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was absolutely beautiful—immaculately kept, well-equipped with everything we needed and more. The location is stunning, perfect for exploring the surrounding area and Skye. Sarah Jane and Steve were lovely and always on hand if we needed anything. We truly couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Six days wasn’t nearly long enough—we’d love to return. Thank you, Sarah Jane, it was perfect!

Go as either a lone traveller or a small group or a large group. There were 14 of us and we took over the house. However the house gets rented out and can easily accommodate smaller groups. We liked the communal areas and how they combined with the privacy of the bedrooms and ensuite facilities
