Rosso Matonne offers views of the countryside that feel like something out of a painting. From the moment we arrived, Barbara made us feel at home —offering local tips and warm smiles that never felt forced. The Apartment and grounds are immaculate. Comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, and close to Sulmona. And then there’s Ellie — the adorable, friendly family pup who quickly became the highlight of our trip. Always happy for a cuddle or to join us for a stroll, she added a comforting, homey touch that made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind and soak in the beauty of Italy with some truly wonderful company. 🌞🇮🇹🐾 5/5 stars – We can't wait to return!

Vito was a super attentive and helpful host to meet our needs, the perfect apartment for a family of 4 like us and equipped with every comfort. The residence where the apartment is located is very nice and located in a functional position both to reach the services in the village of Rocca di Mezzo and the attractions of the area. Very satisfying experience, to be repeated!

Liliana was always very helpful and very friendly. The apartment was perfect for our stay. It is beautifully furnished and has everything you need. The location is very quiet and perfect for relaxation. We were able to explore the beautiful Monte Livata and have lots of fun in nature. We had a wonderful time! Thank you for everything. Very nice chalet as shown in the photos. We were 4 people, spacious, clean with very comfortable beds with everything you need in the kitchen, quiet area 6 km from L'Aquila, Domenico is a very present host (you ask, he answers immediately😊). He sent us all the detailed description for check-in (and the video where to put the bikes with a video). I recommend it, thank you Domenico we had a great time

A lovely apartment in the mountains.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into Sylvia's beautiful family. They were a delight, making sure I had everything I needed, was fed and comfortable. Although it was a studio room, it was very large, so I did not feel at all that I was in my bedroom all the time. There was beautiful Italian linen on the bed, and lovely hangings at the window. There was a screen on both the door and the window so I could have the window open at night without those dreaded mossies coming in. The views from the studio are stunning and I loved having my morning coffee in the chair outside my door, with the donkeys and dog keeping me company. Their own olive oil in the kitchen was a real treat. I took advantage of both Sylvias airport pickup and her fathers tour round the old town...so wonderful to see. The drive is very steep, but walkable, but I never wanted to leave. It was magical and I loved my stay. I had come specifically to work and there was a good table and great wifi connection.

Very clean and comfortable belonging. Well-maintained, helpful and friendly host. Bed in my opinion very comfortable. Perfect temperature adjustment, very comfortable. Well-lit and functional bathroom. Beautiful view from the windows and balcony. Quiet but very central area. Highly recommended!

This was a magical experience. I cannot imagine a kinder and more helpful host than Kevin, and I can’t imagine a more magical location. Great advice on things to do in the area and incredibly helpful in terms of getting us oriented and “plugged in” in Capestrano.

The Pink House was perfect for our family of 5! We all had a nice quiet clean bedroom and the most equipped Airbnb kitchen ever! There is a lovely back terrace and room to dry clothes. Mairi was a very helpful host with so many suggestions on local gems (there are endless options for hikes and activities and of course dining as well!). She was very responsive and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed lake Scanno and visiting family in Pacentro which is breathtaking! Thank you for having us!

Our stay at Ellen and Gustav’s place will forever stay in our hearts. It was a transformative vacation, so much so that we now dream of creating something similar ourselves, someday, somewhere. The atmosphere, the energy, the style, the history, and the love that have been poured into this place are perfectly blended, making everything feel natural and special. Of course, there are small things that could be improved, but they are nothing compared to the immense sense of peace and well-being that the house and its surroundings provide. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every view, the silence, the beauty of the night atmosphere, everything spoke to us deeply. A heartfelt thank you also to Bice, the co-host, who welcomed us warmly and was always available and kind. We truly carry this place in our hearts and minds. It has helped us realize what we truly love and want. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed their time 🫶

Fonteavignone is a delightful village, we arrived with snow and the atmosphere was magical. Amenities and ski slopes just minutes away. The accommodation, very clean, was equipped with everything, beyond expectations. Alessia proved to be a precise and helpful host. We will definitely be back.

We loved the house because it's a grand old two-storey Italian home, with furnishings kept in elegant period style by the owners. The front door opens to a sweeping staircase that wouldn't look out of place in the movies. The house is huge: up to five double bedrooms, formal & informal living spaces, a large and a small kitchen and three bathrooms. There's also a beautiful garden. As for parking we generally found car spots in the street outside. Definitely the classiest place to stay at when in Luco dei Marsi.

This is such a beautiful area! We had a long weekend out of the city and it was perfect. The views are stunning, and the place comes equipped with everything you might need. Elena was responsive and helpful. A hidden gem!

We are still in awe! The place! The atmosphere there! The hosts! We would like to especially thank Gino & Teresa for being sooo welcoming and helpful and helping us have the real authentic Abruzzo experience! They gave us everything we needed for the baby. The place was totally private and only for us, could enjoy being by the pool and enjoy the view to the max. The house is also absolutely beautiful! So simplistic yet well equipped and spotlessly clean! Only felt that a console table of some sort was a bit missing from the entry (to put our keys and small bags and stuff), and also a small table by the pool would have been really handy 😄 Otherwise, really, everything was spot on perfect! It’s like a dream being there! And the outside kitchen area with real stone sink and barbecue area… fantastic! And ohh the donkeys! Our baby loved watching them ☺️ Definitely recommend the place & the hosts! Loved it!

I had the pleasure of staying in Claudia’s BnB for almost two months and cannot recommend it enough. The place is clean, has good amenities, and is generally comfortable to stay in. Claudia is an incredibly kind and helpful person. The exact neighborhood the BnB is in is not perfect as a lot or buildings damaged during the earthquake are still undergoing reconstruction. However, taking the finished buildings in the center as reference, the BnB’s area has a very promising future. Because I was here for work reasons, I cannot comment too much about vacation life. However, the town has plenty of restaurants and cafes in the center and is quite well-connected for day trips like hikes, the various castles and small towns, and even Rome. Although L’Aquila is not an incredibly big town, it is surprisingly lively, making it a great place to be. Again, I cannot recommend L’Aquila and Claudia’s BnB enough. When I come back, I hope I can stay at Casa Renzo again.

Perfect stay! Marco's place is roomy, comfortable, and well-appointed. This was our first visit to Tocco da Casauria; the town is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm- it feels straight out of a storybook. It was very easy to navigate around and the locals are extremely friendly; we tried out some of the suggested restaurants and shopping and loved all of it. The private balcony was definitely our favorite thing about the flat- we could have easily spent another week or two taking in that view. Thank you so much, Marco, for a wonderful trip and stay- we can't wait to return!

A friend and I chose Enrico's accommodation as a stopover for our motorcycle tour and we couldn't be happier. Enrico and his wife immediately made us feel at home, combining hospitality and very interesting conversations. You won't regret it. If the opportunity arises again, I will be happy to return.

the apartment is one of the best of our road trip! it has a breathtaking view. the attentions of chiara are just wonderful after a long journey. the breakfast delivered to the door is so nice! it's an undeniable plus. the cleanliness of the apartment, communication with chiara and her husband who remain available for all our questions. the bedding is comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. in short you will not regret it! nothing but the village is worth it! in addition we have forgotten an object and she will try to send it to us! beautiful people!

Lisa and Paul are nice and very kind hosts, they welcomed us cordially and the house was really nice, spacious and well furnished. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Our two children also had a great time. Recommended to everyone.
