Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lower Hutt

A beautiful home away from home. We found it very spacious & roomy. Large bedrooms & large main bathroom upstairs. Very well equipped kitchen for any cooking needs. The outdoor area was lovely with a pool & outdoor seating with nice established gardens very peaceful. Easy to access once we arrived & close to everything like a bakery, NW supermarket, Upper Hutt town centre etc. I would definitely recommend this house to any family it was fantastic & we had a really nice time there. Sayuri was very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful clean and spacious enviroment. Close to the botanical gardens and downtown via the cable car. Love the area. Very accommodating with later checkout times. Will stay again! Thank you Sayuri for making my first stay in Wellington a comfortable and memorable one.

Absolutely love the place. It would be great to have a heat pump to warm the place up for safety reasons especially when taking children or toddlers. The dryer did take a long time to dry washing but still recommend this place to anyone who is travelling to Wellington for a weekend away or for work.

The property is very central to the main street with restaurants and activities, only a short walk and was very close to brewtown which was great for us as I had an event there. The host is very responsive and accommodating, we will definitely be checking availability here next time we are in the area.

We had a great stay here. The house is lovely and has great views over the water. We had our own car and access to all parts of Wellington was easy. We’re quite a bit fitter for the walk up the stairs each day, but the cable car access is great also.

I couldn't fault Leah's place or my stay there. The place itself had everything I needed and was also in a great location, close to supermarkets, eateries and activities on the main street. It was quiet and I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location to visit elderly parents at local retirement village. Close to shops, beach and transport, which was also ideal. Very clean, well appointed. Noisy, as stated, but that was OK. John kindly turned in the lights and heaters for our delayed midnight arrival.

What a perfect spot. So central yet quiet and beautifully fitted out. The little touches like bathrobes, marshmallows for the hot chocolate and a bikkie for a cuppa were lovely. The added discovery of a cool whiskey bar downstairs (not that you would have known!) was a treat. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful place: well designed, spotless, and comfortable, with a stunning view over Wellington harbor. The funicular access adds a bit of magic to the experience. Lovely, simple breakfast left for us. The location is perfect—a short walk from Wellington’s central business district. Loved our stay here.

Great apartment on a lovely neighborhood. You are a 10 minute walk away from the Khandallah shops. You have restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, pretty much everything you need a quick stroll away. Jules is a very responsive and responsible host. She took care of everything and the apartment is great. We were welcomed with treats and super useful tips! Highly recommended!

The room was clean and clean as pictured. There were also many supermarkets and restaurants nearby.I highly recommend it.

Arriving for a very cold Wellington weekend, we found our lodging to be warm and cosy. Fiona had left freshly baked Anzac biscuits to welcome us, and a still warm, home baked loaf of bread arrived later in the afternoon. With the fresh fruit, meusli, yogurt and home made jams and preserves, also provided we enjoyed a feast each morning for breakfast. The bed was super comfy made up with high quality linens and pillows. The shower was hot and had strong water pressure. Fiona was a wonderful host, we appreciated her kind gestures and easy communication. We loved the proximity to family in Aro valley and the very short walk or Uber trip to reach Wellington City. We will certainly stay here again and will highly recommend this airbnb to friends and family.

Great apartment tucked away in the thick of it all — easy walking distance from Te Papa museum and the waterfront, easy Uber rides to Wētā Workshop and the airport, easy access to loads of restaurants and bars on Cuba Street. We had less than 48 hours in Wellington but this stylish place helped us make the most of it.

Didn’t take any photos of the place, however the view was stunning! The house was very clean, the beds were super comfy and so were the pillows. It was a great big space! On Rainy days I did wish there was roof cover for the balcony… also for those who can’t do stairs. There was a few flights to climb! But well worth the trip. Amazing host, milk, coffee and a wine on arrival! Greta cafe right under the apartment was fair priced, delicious and great customer service! Thank you Giles & Zoe

This home’s 180+ degree views encompass a wide sailboard and surfers beach, Wellington airport’s final-approach flight path (which is quiet) and the mouth of Wellington Harbor. Therefore it is fun, fascinating and fulfilling.

It's a wonderful house with a garden-like yard, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and cozy. The host is very friendly and helped us plan our bus routes with great enthusiasm. The rooms are fully equipped, and both the host and the rooms made me and my daughter feel very warm.

Jan is a most kind, caring, and thoughtful host. She genuinely cares about the wellbeing of her guests. She is industrious and proactive day and night providing a first class base for our exploration of Wellington. Can't recommend her place more highly!

Robyn's family was very warm, and Grandma recommended us a very worthwhile sight for our first day trip to Wellington.Grandpa helped us carry our luggage to the room.The room is very cozy, with lots of art and memorabilia from around the world.Grandma was worried that the clothes we brought were not warm enough, and recommended the Farmers store to us, saying that the wool sweaters there were of good quality, which was very thoughtful.

Wonderful location, parking right outside the door. Great host who was very proactive in checking that we were happy guests! Would not hesitate to stay with Jenny again should the need arise. Thanks, W & K.

A great place to stay. Handy to Petone and getting on the motorway to Wellington. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. An idyllic location nestled amongst the trees with stunning views over Wellington harbour towards the city. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay there again.

I had a lovely stay at Rudi and Penny's home. They were very welcoming and friendly and went the extra mile to ensure that my stay was comfortable . I appreciated their willingness and consideration to help me with anything I might need such as transport and food. They were superb hosts and I really enjoyed their company.

Great hosts and a great old house. Annie even drove us to a restaurant and helped me with my washing.
