The pictures do not do it justice! We booked this stay for 7 adults to spend a birthday weekend together. The four main bedrooms on the first floor were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen had plenty of counter space (and was very well stocked with anything you could need) We appreciated the charm of the historic dining room and living area and felt like this property balanced the historic/rustic charm with the modern essentials like AC, good internet, modern appliances, a well maintained hot tub, etc very well. Hikers, you can get right onto the lower town trail from this airbnb. Don’t bother driving and paying the parking fee if you’re willing to tack on two relatively flat miles on the front and back end of your hike. Highly recommend checking out Harper’s ferry brewing! Beware: not to state the obvious but there are very limited Ubers in town so plan accordingly!

Everyone enjoyed our stay here ! S’mores by the firepit, family games around the huge kitchen table and mornings rocking on the front porch rockers . We wished we could stay longer !!!

My family was looking for a local weekend getaway, and this house was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything felt clean, cozy, and welcoming. Krystal was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We had to do an early check-in due to work call and Krystal made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She was quick to answer any questions we had. The pool was a huge hit with everyone. It was super clean and well-maintained, and we spent most of our weekend swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful outdoor space. The house itself was fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to extra towels, which made our stay even more comfortable. It was the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time as a family. We had such a great time and made memories we’ll always cherish. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun escape. We would absolutely stay here again!

I would recommend this home greatly. We were on a girls weekend. We enjoyed the home the surroundings and the peacefulness. It’s in a beautiful setting close to many great restaurants and wineries. The beds were comfortable and the homeless clean. Should we ever find ourselves that way again we’ve already decided we would stay here.

Really lovely home. Well stocked and nice details like luxurious towels and soft sheets. Everything was labeled and well-organized. Very comfortable and great space for a family. Beds were comfortable. Kids loved the huge bathtub!

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

This was the perfect city get away for a weekend trip! The location is great, in the country but also only 10 minutes from Middelburg shops and restaurants. The home was even better than pictured, especially the outside area. The yard, pool and outside seating areas were absolutely beautiful, just so peaceful. The home was absolutely lovely, very clean, comfortable and with all the amenities you would need, including in the kitchen. Really hope to come back, I would highly recommend this rental. We always stay in Airbnbs, and this was hands down the best experience I've had! Michelle was an incredible host. Her communication was quick, clear, and super helpful from start to finish. Beautiful and cozy is all I have to really say. I stayed here for my birthday weekend and enjoyed it. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in. We took nice walks along the property ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The view from under the bridge next to the home was also amazing.

Very cool old house in a peaceful area. House was well equipped with anything you would need as well as well stocked for the pellet fire. Brenda was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions.

We absolutely loved staying at Timothy’s place, the history of this farm home was well presented, and we loved the fact that it was still part of a family story. It was great to have the historical one room school house next-door. It was extremely clean and well organized, and well stocked, we particularly loved the screened in porch where we had our coffee and could visit during the day. Both of the bathrooms were very nice as well as the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

My daughter was getting married and she and her sister stayed for the final few nights before the wedding. Beautiful, peaceful non-stressful area to relax and be ready for the big day. I highly recommend the place! It is a peaceful, beautiful spot looking out to the mountains!

I really enjoyed my stay! He’s super friendly and responded quick anytime I needed help finding something in the home. The house is so beautifully decorated very high tech as well which made me love it even more. You can dim the lights, there’s a control to put the curtains down, controls to move the tvs down as well, overall very modern, cute and was everything he described. 5 stars! I had absolutely no issues with this say whatsoever and I’ll definitely be booking again. I totally recommend for anyone who’s unsure, just book it it’s so worth it.

Wow, wow, wow!!! We celebrated our 25th anniversary in this beautiful house and it will be so memorable! The house is GORGEOUS, spotless and so much fun!!! We played games, Pac-Man, soaked in the hot tub, cooked a s slept in. The ferns on the property are so pretty and we loved to watch “Phil” ( the groundhog) hard at work finding food in the massive frontage. This house is super private and it’s so quiet. We just loved everything about it! I also have the Christmas gift idea for my husband (Pac-Man.. shhh :) ). Thank you so much!!

Imad’s home was perfect for our family. It had all the amenities we needed, including a convenient home office setup with an extra monitor—making it easy to stay productive. The house was spotless and located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. We felt completely at home and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Virginia.

This is one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in! It is in the perfect location - very walkable to shopping, bars, restaurants, and a walking/biking trail. Everything was very clean and it is so well decorated. We felt right at home there. I can confidently say I would book this house again.

For a house that can accommodate a multi-generational family, this was excellent. Walking around the property was adequate for a winter day, but in other seasons, when you want a longer walk, the highway would not have been safe. We had to get in the car to walk on the C&O Canal, just 15 minutes away in Brunswick. A lovely, flat walking or biking space. There was a highchair for the baby, and little to no decor for young children to break. Thank you! The host negotiated an issue with no electrical power in three bedrooms the first night. A repair person came promptly the next morning to flip a breaker. All was well from that point on. Being a musical family, the piano was a real bonus! We will definitely return when we can.

We had a wonderful stay at Danna's place for a birthday weekend with friends! Plenty of gathering places to sit and chat, games, beautiful porch room, and more. The history in the house was awesome and the house is photo-worthy! A great visit!

My husband and I were looking for a place that our family could relax and make memories for our wedding weekend. Janell and Bruce’s home offered just that. They were wonderful hosts - they were responsive, the place was beautifully kept, and they even gave us an early check-in so my family could get settled. The porch and kitchen are fantastic and gave us a chance to have a nice family barbecue to kick off our wedding weekend festivities. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with modern amenities and super gracious hosts!

What a wonderful place to stay. The house had all of the charm of a 100+ year old farm house with all of the comforts and amenities of a modern home. The property was beautiful with several places to spend time outside. We loved seeing the animals! Angela was a wonderful host- very attentive and informative. If we return to the area we would definitely stay here again.

The kitchen was fully equipped with high-quality cookware, and the utensils, plates and pots were pristine, reflecting her attention to detail. Throughout the house, clear signage and detailed instructions provided convenience and ease. You can easily connect to the internet if needed, but the farm is so beautiful that it’s also perfect for relaxing and unplugging. Laura was exceptionally accommodating, graciously allowing our young child to feed the cows—an unexpected delight, as the cows were notably friendly and sociable. It is evident that Laura invests considerable effort to ensure her guests’ comfort and experience are nothing short of exceptional. I would gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend her property for weddings and other events—any occasion that calls for a high-quality, memorable experience.

We stayed here for our girl’s trip to Harpers Ferry and it was absolutely perfect! We felt right at home. We were so comfortable and relaxed the entire time, and had everything we needed. Ryan was a great host and very responsive and helpful - we didn’t need him much because he left clear instructions and helpful information. We had the best time and will definitely stay here again if we come back!
