Farmstay holiday rentals in Loudoun County

An extremely welcoming place that had many things to do and accommodating our autistic children very well! It was a shame we didn't get the chance to make s'mores! We would love to come back to this place sometime since it is so peaceful and homey! We watched older movies that we forgot about! Thanks for the DVDs!

This is my family's third time staying at the Cuckoo Chalet. We really enjoy the location and the amenities -- It has everything we need for a long weekend away from home.

We were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect for 5 of us. Everything was exactly as advertised. Would definitely stay there again!!!

Wow, Sylvanside was breathtakingly beautiful! It might be one of the most peaceful and gorgeous places I've stayed at through Airbnb. The grounds were perfect for strolling around, looking at farm animals or wildlife. And inside, the Hunt Box was comfortable and perfectly appointed. I spent a fair amount of time just staring out that beautiful bay window in the bedroom. Highly, highly recommend if you want to get away from it all (while still being within fifteen minutes of great restaurants and breweries). I can't wait to come back!

We loved the area. The house was very clean and we felt very comfortable. We enjoyed coming back to the house after the horse show and just relaxing. We hope to book it for next year.

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

What a great space and setting to gather with our family who were also staying on the property to attend a family wedding in the area. We had everything we needed and the host was very attentive. We definitely recommend it and will return in the future!

Perfect home for our family getaway. This updated home was spotless and well appointed with thoughtful touches throughout. My kids loved seeing the horse so close to the house. After a log day exploring the area, there was so much to do at the house if you wanted to relax and recharge or keep the kids busy - from the pool, fire pit, basketballs and footballs, ping pong, arcade and board games, hot tub, and more. The grounds are idyllic and peaceful with the W & OD Trail just steps away from the house. We truly enjoyed our time here.

Our countryside escape was just what we needed. The home was peaceful and full of charm — exactly as described. We had a wonderful stay at this converted historic cottage, which had all the modern amenities and preserved historic charm. It is just a stone's throw from Wheatland Springs Brewery, and near to several charming towns. I will note that there is not a walkway to get up to the house, which could cause a problem if you have mobility issues. Thank you for a great stay!

Great place to spend a long weekend celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. Jessica was great to work with - very responsive, provided clear instructions, great restaurant recommendation, went over and above. Grandkids visited for a day and Jessica arranged for them to feed Jimmy and Dean (two pot belly pigs) and gather eggs from the hens. Cosette (our pup) had a great time roaming the farm and making friends with everybody. Highly recommend.

WOW!!! This is THE gem of air bnb’s. I cannot begin to articulate just how incredible it was. The photos don’t give justice to how beautiful this home is and how thoughtful all the details are. Luanne was amazing and communicative- her and her husband truly went above and beyond in hospitality and kindness when we forgot bug spray and charcoal, and when asking where we could find some locally they grabbed some for us! The site is breathtaking, we loved sitting by the fire pit and looking at the stars after a night of grilling. 1 night was rainy and still so enjoyable because their kitchen was fully stocked with any and all utensils needed to make a lovely meal and admire the storm over the mountains from the beautiful covered back deck! Little details like super comfy robes and slippers made me feel right at home. The winery is so cute and has delicious wines- we had a flight of both the red and white and would definitely recommend! Truly cannot wait to come back, definitely plan to!

Exact description! If your looking for peace and quiet, you found it! Preston and his family were great hosts. Communicated very easily. Also gave great recommendations for local ideas of travel. The orange tabby cat outside the door every day was extra special. She warmed my heart! The bathroom floored was heated, an extra bonus! Thank you Preston and family!

This was a great peaceful retreat in Middleburg! The surroundings were beautiful and it was convenient to downtown. We even saw the hounds out for a walk one morning which was an awesome spectacle! Extremely convenient location to attend an event at the Goodstone Inn as well.

Everyone enjoyed our stay here ! S’mores by the firepit, family games around the huge kitchen table and mornings rocking on the front porch rockers . We wished we could stay longer !!!

Wonderful stay for our family of 4. Our two boys under 5 years of age had a great time. Lots of space in the house and of course acres and acres to explore on the farm. Great location ! 15 min to a great AT trail parking lot, lots of restaurants and brewery options. We will absolutely return! 10/10!

I would recommend this home greatly. We were on a girls weekend. We enjoyed the home the surroundings and the peacefulness. It’s in a beautiful setting close to many great restaurants and wineries. The beds were comfortable and the homeless clean. Should we ever find ourselves that way again we’ve already decided we would stay here.

We loved our stay at Emily’s! It was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We were in town for the horse show so we didn’t get to spend lots of time there but I loved having coffee outside in the mornings and watching the horses graze in the fields. We would definitely come back and stay here, we loved it!

This cottage feels like it exists just slightly outside of time. Thoughtfully designed, peaceful, and grounded in the landscape, it invites you to slow down without trying. Hosts Melissa and Scott have created something really special here. I also booked a massage during my stay and highly recommend it. As other reviewers have noted, there are plenty of other treats and surprises that make your stay memorable. It’s the perfect reset, just about an hour from DC, but it feels much farther in the best way. Can't wait to go back!

Dolly and Brendan were absolutely amazing. We hosted a small, intimate wedding at their home, and our guests were in love with the beautiful scenery. The house was beautiful and clean. They went above and beyond in every way and were incredibly accommodating to our needs. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made them some of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered. Despite several days of rain, they made sure the grass was freshly cut for our outdoor ceremony, which meant so much to us. We truly couldn’t be happier with our stay and would recommend them to absolutely everyone.
