The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

Matt and Chloe were great hosts, communicative and helpful. The house was lovely, modern, private and set amongst the trees. There was a great welcome basket waiting for us with visitor information, scones, jam and clotted cream, tea, milk in the fridge. The bathroom was great, with a good power shower. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bed linen. The weather was not so good but we did manage to use the pool, which was clean and a nice temperature. We visited: Port Isaac, Padstow, Rock, Bodmin jail. A great place to stay, we would not hesitate to book again in the future.

We stayed at the palm tree lodge for 3 nights it was lovely and peaceful just what we needed, Jules the host was most helpful on hand to answer any questions we had, the information she provided was clear and easy to follow ie check-in and house rules. The lodge itself was super homely equipped with everything we needed and more. The design and theme was so nice giving us inspiration for our own home. Would we stay again? most definitely we could not fault the property or the host.

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

We just stayed for 7 nights as a place for the whole family to meet up with two toddlers and three couples. The place was absolutely perfect, super clean and really well equipped - the hosts have though of everything we might need. There is so much space and the addition of the extra living room uostairs was really useful. Nice private balconies. The hosts were really caring, informative and responsive. Thank you for an amazing stay!!!

We had an amazing time at the bay talland! Staff was super friendly and the house was more than what we hoped for! The hot tub, pool, plunge pool and sauna was all included in our stay and we loved using them! We would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful escape. Thanks so much.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

We loved our stay in Nanstallon. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed with everything you would need and centrally located for all of Cornwall. Peaceful village with good parking.

Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at the Gem and everything about it was perfect - fully equipped, spotless + great location. In walking distance to some lovely restaurants in town or Fistral beach and Crantock beach. It is also a great location to explore other costal towns in Cornwall. If you have a paddleboard or Kayak I would recommend taking it as you can walk straight down to the waters edge from the property. Overall this was a 10/10 stay.

The cottages were ideally located for exploring the south coast of Cornwall and we both had an enjoyable stay. The cottage was accurately described and comfortable and in a nice secluded area. Karl was helpful and was easy to talk to. The cottage was extremely clean and provided all the kitchen facilities that was needed. The beds were comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. The bathroom was spotless. The only negatives were lack of phone signal and internet however this is what is to be expected in such a rural location. Would certainly recommend the cottages to family and friends.

We had a lovely long weekend here at the end of April. House was clean, lots of space and linens, well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds, a lovely hot tub that finally got up to temperature on the second day. Short walk to the beach and cafes/pub and great views down the valley to the sea and so peaceful. Would definitely recommend a stay here

We booked this at very short notice and Em and Nick were very responsive. The place has parking right outside the accommodation, the surroundings are amazing with great views of the countryside. We also had our little one with us and Nick and Em were super accommodating in providing a crib and high chair, as well as a box of toys that she absolutely loved. We would definitely stay here again.

Just fabulous! Beautiful lodge with artful decoration & dressing, plus a breathtaking view out over the river, day & night. Really well equipped modern kitchen & bathroom, ample power points, soft & bright lighting to suit your mood, comfy bed & pillows, comfy seating both indoors & on the patio. Claire has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect!

We loved our stay. It's the second time we've been and we stayed for a week this time. perfect place for a family holiday (3 generations), plenty of space and good kitchen facilities for group meals. The location is amazing, really quiet and you can either drive to local attractions, walk along the river, or stay put in the village and enjoy the scenery. Everyone in our group was provided for, the kids especially loved the stepping stones, looking for creatures in the river, and the trampoline in the garden.

Lovely, relaxing stay in a beautiful, comfortable house. Fantastic views over the estuary, which we enjoyed whilst having breakfast on the balcony. As expected for hilly Fowey, the walk back up from town is fairly steep, but still doable for the oldest member of our party. Although there is no parking outside the house, you can park to unload and load, then park in the car park, a short walk up the hill. It's cheaper to pay for the week's parking, rather than pay each day. In all a very enjoyable stay and we'd be delighted to re-visit if we didn't live so far away (in Scotland)

It's all about the view of the harbor, with a round table right in the bay window facing it, both bedrooms face the harbor as well, meaning you can hear lapping waves, Fowey church bell and gulls. Comfy beds, nice linen, beautiful bathrooms, special kitchen with good appliances, well kitted out. Thoughtful touches everywhere as well as a beautifully designed interior. All spotlessly clean (windows too, and that’s important). However, as perfect and special as this is, you need to be able to walk up a long STEEP hill to the car park and getting your luggage to the house is tricky unless you have a tiny car and steel nerves to drive down the narrowest street I've ever been on. We are 70 and 80 something, and did it (both), but it’s not nothing. Have I conveyed that this house feels special, and will immediately elevate your spirits? To complete the sense of having landed somewhere extraordinary, let me say Beverley is a wonderful, responsive and super responsible host.

Absolutely gorgeous lil snug hidden away in the countryside of Cornwall. We couldn’t have loved our stay more. The home was stunning, the views were lush and Philippa was outstanding. Would definitely recommend :)

This was our first time in Cornwall, the hosts were amazing! Gave us ideas on where was best to go and best routes to take around the area, really friendly and made us very comfortable. The Airbnb its self was lovely, cozy and had everything we needed. Would 100% recommend and we hope to come back again!

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely rented house in Cornwall. The location was perfect — quiet, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. One of the standout features was the beautifully kept garden; it’s clear a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining it, and it added so much charm to the property. Inside, the house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in a stunning part of Cornwall!

Lovely clean appt. in quiet area. Central for trips to Tintagel. Port Isaac. Eden Project etc. Great nights sleep. Accommodation had all that we needed with small private area to sit outside. Debra supplied lovely scones homemade jam and clotted cream. Debra made us really welcome.

A lovely place to stay in Fowey right on the water. Perfect to stroll into the centre of Fowey. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace whilst looking at the sail boats on the river. There were 6 of us and we were comfortable throughout. Would highly recommend.
