House holiday rentals in Lorne

We spent a long weekend at Jennie’s house and would highly recommend. It rained the entire weekend so we weren’t able to make use of the top north facing deck or the lower pool deck but we lit the fire, settled in and had such a relaxing time. There is a really good coffee machine which meant we didn’t even have to venture out for coffee! We loved it on a wet winter weekend so I can only imagine how great it would be on a warm sunny weekend.

Beautiful house to stay at! We all had the best time and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Heaps of room for the kids to run around and burn their energy. Great place to stay for a family holiday we had 11 of us in the house and we al had our own space and heaps of room to have dinner and watch movies all together.

A very comfortable and well presented home great facilities and a nice new and comfortable clean and plenty of natural light.

We couldn’t be happier with our time at this home. It was beautifully clean, well appointed and had everything you need. The home was so convenient to the shops, a short stroll away. We stayed in April and the surrounds were very quiet and peaceful.

If you’re looking for a house to relax and unwind, this could be the one for you! The house was warm and homily, and delivered some amazing sunrises / sunset views, all whilst relaxing in the spacious upstairs lounge. The house was clean throughout, and large enough to accommodate our group of friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Peggy is a great host, super responsive and even provided some complimentary wine to welcome us. Cheers to that!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property! Our host went above and beyond by giving us a full tour of the house upon arrival, making us feel right at home. The attention to detail and hospitality truly made it feel like we were staying at a private villa. The space was clean, stylish, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, and the ambiance was just as lovely as the photos (if not better!). We highly recommend this host and would love to stay here again in the future. A stunning homestead with beautiful views, hidden away in the Otways. Jasmin was very flexible and communicated really well. The home was very clean and all instructions to use appliances or spa were clear and easy to follow. Would recommend this home to anyone wanting a peaceful and tranquil escape to nature with all the amenities within the home. Will hopefully be back again.... Geoff was very thoughtful in organising the cleaner to put the heating and lights on as we were arriving after dark. He also allowed a later check out which was nice of him. Overall Geoff was very accomodating and the Chapel was a unique place to stay. Kerryn

We loved our stay at Angela’s place which was kindly left warm and cosy for us to check in on a cold and rainy day. Lorne is such a great spot no matter the weather and we enjoyed reading by the fire and listening to the rain on the roof. The area is very quiet and surrounded by trees but still close to town. We appreciated the responsive and friendly communication and the flexibility with checking in and out. Thank you for hosting us!

Absolutely gorgeous accommodation that I highly recommend to anyone planning to do the Great Ocean Drive! We were lucky enough to witness the Southern Lights from Samantha’s beautiful house. Beautifully decorated & clean interior perfect for your stay. Didn’t manage to catch the Koalas or cows — maybe next time! 😍

The host is very responsive on guiding us to the location of the stay although it was quite late at night when we check-ed in. The house is prefect , retreat style and luxurious design , cozy and comfy, you can enjoy breathtaking views of great ocean road from any part of the house. It has very well equipped kitchen and warm bathrooms, also with a bathtub with sea view . The Bose music speakers are pretty cool. This is one of my most favourite Airbnb stay, we will definitely love to come back again!

Nicks place was one word: phenomenal. Not only were the team absolutely amazing and helpful, but we went there and felt like it was our own. The home is as seen in photos, above the ocean in the sky. Surrounded by trees and beautiful nature. The walkway into the Airbnb was made to perfection. The team put a lot of effort in to every corner of that place. We even had a wonderful 90 minute massage done overlooking the ocean! As a female, to see an original GHD straightener for their guests blew my mind. The candles by the bath - the welcoming fairy lights. It’s the small things that made this place better than what i expected. The ocean, the home, the host. 100/10. Highly recommended to all and definitely will return.

Our second stay and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Safe to say we will most likely book again soon. This place speaks to our soul. The view is unbeatable and makes it very difficult to even want to leave this beautiful house. Best sleep ever with the sound of the waves and comfy beds. Well appointed kitchen and very clean property. Do yourselves a favor and stay here if you can. Thanks again Mary :-)

The place was beautiful. It was a quiet residential street. Being able to hear the kookaburras and birds was a treat and you can even hear the sounds of the waves in the evening. Everything was amazing ! There were a few little items missing and a concern with a very loud dripping noise after a sudden downpour at night. I notified the owners and I am sure they will look into it. My only criticism is that the upstairs shower is TINY! You literally could not move / it has a weird corner seat in it - I have been in small showers before over the years but you could not move in this one ! This tops it off as the tiniest shower ! . A large person would have trouble ! Be warned of the very steep hill walking back home - but it is doable ! We only had a few complaints from the teenagers. Was definitely good exercise each day ! We will definitely be back !

I booked Nick’s place for a restorative weekend away with a group of girlfriends and would highly recommend it. The house is absolutely beautiful, tasteful furnishings, well appointed kitchen and pantry and well stocked with beautiful towels and linens. The view is stunning. I can’t recommend Lisa’s place highly enough. Not only is it a beautiful home, it has stunning views and absolutely everything you need (and more!). Lisa is a fantastic host and has thought of everything for her guests. Our family had a relaxing and comfortable stay and would love to book again!

Perfect place for a weekend away. Hidden in amongst the trees, really peaceful but also just a short drive from the beach. The guys go above and beyond to be helpful and make sure you have everything you need. Outdoor spa is big and private. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed a weekend away with friends here. Very cosy and homely place with very cool interiors and furnishings. Super comfortable place to relax for the weekend with a fire and cheeseboard! It’s an older beach house so has its quirks but they add to the charm. Lovely hosts who provided lots of instructions and recommendations :)
