Holiday rentals in Lookout Mountain

Perfect getaway with my husband for his birthday! It’s always a bit of a gamble, we’ve had airbnbs that were NOT the way they appeared in the pictures but that wasn’t the case this time. It was exactly as described. The video instructions were helpful and thorough. It was cute, clean, and well stocked with little touches like toiletries, everything you need in the kitchen, outdoor options etc. We appreciated the binder of local sights and suggested restaurants, so helpful! The only things that could have made it better for us would have been robes and shades on the two windows near the door for more privacy. The hosts were excellent and even let us go check out their cabin on the other side of the property since no one was staying there. It is beautiful and had so many nice touches. We would love to bring our children to the cabin sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house looked exactly like the photos. The host was proactive with all information and when I had a question regarding the sauna she responded quickly. The paved roads in the development were a little steep and we struggled a little getting out because it had been raining all night so luckily we had four wheel drive. Everything was a little further than I originally anticipated but it wasn’t a problem for us. We went to Canyon Grill for dinner one night. The food and service were great. Visited Ruby falls and rock city which was a solid 30 minute drive but worth it! Although you can occasionally hear your neighbors it was very peaceful and relaxing.

Great little place shared on a bluffside of 4 tiny homes. The view was amazing. Thoughtful touches in the Oslo tiny house, what with the bottle of wine, smores, and the Victrola especially. We slept on the living room fold-out so to take advantage of that beautiful view & made a little breakfast to enjoy on the private deck. I personally think this was the cutest of the bunch. Super enjoyable. Cloudland Canyon park is 10 minutes away by car, and if you need to go to town for supplies that's only a couple minutes further. We picked a less-busy time to stay and had the property to ourselves, and were able to enjoy the hot-tub and watch the sunset and the stars rise. There is a hang-gliding place just down the road, so that was fun to watch. They have some logs available for the firepit you can pay for, just fyi. These guys made check-in and check-out a total breeze. Perhaps the easiest of any AirBnB I've had the pleasure of staying in! Will recommend to friends!

Loved this place I definitely recommend! It was private but also had other homes nearby so you weren’t completely alone in the woods haha. They recommended amazing hiking spots that my husband and I went to see and it was so fun. We’re from Illinois so it’s mostly corn fields so hiking through mountains and seeing the waterfalls was just an amazing experience. Overall this home was lovely and our hosts were friendly/great people. Must see.

Beautiful. My family and I had a wonderful stay. Jacob was always responsive and when a family member left a piece of luggage called us before we were even 30 miles out. Watching the hang gliders was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Amazing stay, especially for the price. Not only was our room comfortable and clean, the hosts provided lots of amenities like waters, eye masks, etc. that added another level of hospitality. Host provided great recommendations, and I suggest the Native Fairy Garden nearby! Overall, great visit.

I stayed at 1915 at Cedar Ridge for a three-day personal retreat, and it was exactly what I needed. The place is peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by nature. It was a perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. The home is even more beautiful in person, with big windows looking out into the trees and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. Nicole is a fantastic host. She left fresh cookies, a basket of snacks and fruit, muffin mix, and even eggs for breakfast. It really made the place feel warm and welcoming. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook for myself, and I loved starting my mornings with coffee on the deck. Nicole also checked in just enough to make sure I was all set, which I really appreciated. Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had. It’s great for anyone looking to unwind, reset, or just enjoy some quiet time. I’m already thinking about when I can come back.
