The Cowboy Cottages house was lovely. It has a spacious homey feel. The kitchen had a full set of pans with matching lids. We used the house’s wood stove to keep it nice and warm. Randall was quick to answer my question before we visited. Definitely would stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

He went above and beyond with offers of help for our disabled motorcycle and needs🙏🏻 His recommendations for food were perfect. Unit was very clean and comfortable. This adorable guest house will bring you back to visiting the home of a beloved grandparent or aunt. Its super cute! Made a very comfortable stay for my family of 3 when we were in town for the rodeo. The farm kittens were a fun bonus!

It's a great place to stay. The town of Spray is just outside the front door, while from the great room or back deck you're right on the bank of the John Day River, with little sign of town and a view miles down the valley! I found the listing a little unclear on bedrooms. There's one generously large bedroom with its own bath. A second bedroom shares a bath with the den which has a pull-out sofa bed (fine for our grandkid, but not up to the standard of the other comfortable beds). We'll stay here again next time we're in eastern Oregon.
