We highly recommend the house. The kitchen is well equipped, the house is spacious and you feel comfortable. The garden is very shady, which was perfect in the heat. Unfortunately, the street noise is a bit annoying, and the beautiful large trees cannot quite reduce it. For it was still a perfect place. William is also very friendly and helpful!

We are delighted with our stay in Usson, which is a very beautiful village. The panoramic view we had of the house, goes all the way to Puy de Dôme. Even at night, the view is prodigious. The house is comfortable and filled with paintings and drawings and especially beautiful colors. It's an artist's house. We loved it.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay. The setting is very pretty, peaceful, in the heart of nature. The accommodation is very well equipped, the sauna and the pool are very enjoyable. Warning: those sensitive to insects should refrain.

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

The accommodation offered by Jeremy and Julien is superb, quiet and very well furnished. Superb swimming pool and wooded park with small charming places to sit. 20/20 and more!

Our stay at the beautifully renovated and well appointed stone gîte was very pleasant. It is surrounded by extensive gardens including a clean and private pool .Sean and Bridget gave us a warm welcome and provided us with recommendation for places to go and things to do. What a great place to relax and enjoy the Périgord countryside.

Geneviève and her family have made a beautiful space with huge volumes very neat. The park is superb with a view of rich and preserved fauna and flora. What a pleasure to watch the does, the herons in the morning... And the very family-like welcome is remarkable. Thank you for this place and for those who know how to share it so well

Stunning! Yes the house is amazing and the space is well furnished and the material noble (wood and stone)… but for us it was the stunning views of the entire valleys and the bright stars in the jacuzzi at night which made this place unforgettable.

When everything just comes together beautifully…you can simply relax and enjoy. Our warm and friendly Airbnb hosts thought of every important detail from the well-appointed kitchen with an espresso maker to the fine French linens to the super comfortable king-sized bed. Nestled into the vineyards of the Cognac region, this setting is also so beautiful. We enjoyed sitting under the old maple tree to take in the views. Wish we could stay longer and thank you to our generous hosts!

Veronique was very welcoming when she met us at check in. She lives in the main house so is available if needed. The property is pretty unique and well laid out over 3 floors. Comfortable bed and great shower. We didn’t do any cooking as there were great restaurant options in the village and also a very good boulangerie. We enjoyed the private terrace overlooking vineyards. Very peaceful. Angers is only 20 minutes away by car and is a nice (small) city to visit. We also visited Samour and Chinon. We had a very enjoyable 4 days in this lovely part of the Loire.

We stayed with friends at the gîte des 3 petits cochons and we particularly enjoyed the beauty of the place, its tranquility and its incredible natural environment. the accommodation is fully equipped and exceptionally clean! We can only advise you to stay there, you will be very well received by the hosts of this place.

Great places to discover the region. Lots of activities in the area. Impeccable, warm, and quiet accommodation. The pool and hot tub are a plus. The host is very responsive, welcoming and warm. Everything was explained to us from the arrival with a small recap booklet, restaurants, activities to do in the area. A little corner of paradise, we'll be back! Thank you

Matthieu's place was my first stop on my walking trip and I had a great time! The area was as beautiful as the pictures advertised. Make sure you walk the routes through the forest before leaving! Matthieu himself made me feel very welcome, even his cat was very friendly! We ended up playing a boardgame and I had a great evening. I highly recommend the cabin to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy the woods for a bit.

This property is very special! I loved my time at it. It is such a warm property with so much character but has all the modern elements that are needed for a comfortable longer stay. The internet speed was fantastic as well and I could telework with no issues. The property is private without feeling isolated. I would love to return to this property in the future!
