Unusual accommodation exactly what we were looking for for our Christmas vacation. There would certainly be another way to moor the boat because the squeaking of the rope on the hull somewhat disrupts sleep. An excellent position facing the Château de Saumur and a well-equipped boat to have a pleasant stay on the Loire.

We stayed at this unique place over Pentecost. It is very private and was even far better than the photos show. Very modern and extremely clean. The bikes on site were really great and there are very nice paths along the canal. Urs' breakfast right at the lock was another highlight. Everything you need is there and the excursions in the area were very nice. We will be happy to come back.

A magical place to stay! can't recommend enough. if Gérard asks if you want the hot tub then YES YOU WANT THE HOT TUB! A perfect way to watch the sunset. Close to the big food market and Cite Du Vin. Peaceful sleeps. Excellent communication.

I loved the houseboat... super original decor.. it's great in the morning when I wake up. The tram is just a few minutes walk away, lots of restaurants nearby, a 1 minute walk to the light pools. We were able to enjoy the roof top also for an aperitif.
