Holiday rentals with beach access in Loire

We spent a very enjoyable week in Valerie's apartment. She and her husband welcomed us at the door even though our flight was delayed. A gift of brioche , orange juice and a locally produced aperitif was a nice touch. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one could possibly need. it was really quiet in spite of being on the Quai which is a hive of activity. She replied to any communication within minutes. Highly recommended.

Victorien is a very responsive host, he was able to answer our questions and meet our expectations. The accommodation is extremely well located, close to all amenities and the embankment. Equipped with a large refrigerator, very appreciable, the comfort of the bedding is remarkable, a 160 bed is always pleasant. Small, fully-equipped kitchen, very functional. A very nice apartment with a view of the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The accommodation is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and the city center of La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The accommodation is also within walking distance of the train station.

This Airbnb was beautiful, well situated and perfect for a few days getaway.

We had a wonderful few days. The house was like in the photo, the view, with a remarkable location. It was a favorite, and it was sad to leave this magical place. David is a nice person. Regarding the equipment, he thought of everything, a fireplace for a small friendly evening, garden lounges with different views. Absolutely amazing place, tastefully decorated, in an exceptional village. A lot of effort has been put into decorating, where well-being is. Being by the water with this view is just unimaginable. Just missing an oven (on the wall above the plates , my 2 cents) and a curtain in the room (hanging on the wall with rings, my 2 cents again). Truly an awesome experience.

Very well-located and well-maintained accommodation. The bedding is of very good quality. The neighborhood is very quiet. In short, a perfect accommodation for a pleasant stay in Villandry.

We had a very good weekend in Muriel and Marco's cottage. The house is very well equipped, ideal for 4 couples. The 2nd outdoor bathroom was not a problem (in this season at least). The bravest were able to enjoy the swimming pool (a little cool still) very well equipped. Muriel and Marco are very friendly and available. Thank you again...

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!

A peaceful place, remarkably well located both for going to the center and as a starting point for going to the beach / beautiful marsh. Functional equipment. Everything is there and operational. Pleasant terrace, you can get everywhere on foot and/or by bike. A beautiful place to discover or revisit the island

We had a great time in Vincent's house: very pleasant setting facing the sea, with private access to the beach below the garden! The host can't be more responsive, I recommend it without a second thought!

Fantastic place to stay for our weekend in Ile de Re. The place was right around the corner of the stunning port of Saint Martin, and the apartment looked even better than the photos - super cosy and had all you could ask for. Corinne and Eric were the best hosts, very friendly and welcoming, flexible with us and always on hand to help with recommendations. We thoroughly recommend!!

Amazing apartment on the port front in La Rochelle, with great views and in the centre of this very walkable town. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, including for travelling with a baby. Highly recommended!

The apartment is ideally located, close to the market and a few minutes' walk from the embankment! The apartment is nice, well furnished and equipped, we spent 3 wonderful days. Free and easy parking in front of the building is also very convenient.

We were delighted with our stay. The apartment matches the photos point by point. The kitchen is small but very functional with all the utensils, nothing is missing.
