Originally stables, the cottage has been converted to one-up-one-down self-catering accommodation. Double bed, shower, washing machine, sofa-bed and well equipped kitchen. Easy to get to via public transport. 10 min walk from station and 5 mins to bus stops. It's very close to the shops, cafes etc. Cycle parking available. There is usually space to park a car on the drive, but be aware that the entrance is a bit narrow. We also have an EV charger. We have swifts nesting between May and August.

It’s remote both in location and from modern life. You have space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

Lovely traditional stone cottage, built originally as a chapel in 1806 in the village of Arthog in Eryri/Snowdonia National Park with beautiful mountain views. 5 minutes from the railway at Morfa Mawddach (5 mins to Barmouth), or a fab walk. Just a few metres from the stunning Mawddach Trail, it is the ideal location for a wide range of outdoor activities such as hill walking, mountain biking, pony trekking and close to Fairbourne beach with its famous steam railway.
