The Cors is a large beautiful, peaceful house in lovely grounds just waiting to be explored. We had a fabulous family holiday which included the celebration of my 60th birthday and a private chef cooking dinner for 8 of us, and The Cors was the perfect venue for this. The location was great for walking, horse riding and trips to the beach. We loved Pendine Sands particularly as we have 2 spaniels who love to run. Laugharne is also a great place to be based, with nice places to eat and drink. The Owl and Pussycat had the best Lemon Drizzle Cake, and Ty Glas was great for Pizza. We also had a lovely evening meal in Browns which is dog friendly in the bar. The Cors and Laugharne are on our list to revisit, we all loved it.

Just home from a great trip to Alma House. What a fantastic house and location. We are a group of nine family members of all ages. The house is just beautiful, lots of room and many different spaces for everyone. It's in a very peaceful and picturesque spot with magnificent views and many wonderful beaches and towns to visit on the doorstep. Natalie was a great host, friendly and flexible. Thanks very much, we'll be back!

Perfect location to get the family together for a long Easter weekend. Location is well placed for local beaches. Good sized table for board games and the outside pizza oven was fun to try. When the weather allowed we played boules and table tennis on the good sized lawn and we had a great time. Mark was helpful and made us feel at home. The Internet is a bit iffy and watching streaming TV had a fair amount of buffering and glitches but about do-able and fair enough for the very rural location. Would visit again. Thanks Mark. (The neighbouring cat is very friendly too)

We had a fantastic stay for a family get together. The house is lovely and in a wonderful spot and not far from cardigan, Mwnt and lots of lovely beaches and amenities. Katerina was lovely and very helpful and house was immaculate. We loved the Sauna and sitting on the deck watching the birds. Super tranquil and lovely break thanks so much!

A very spacious house in a very good location, close to the city but feeling very rural. The garden was a great bonus with plenty of space to sit outside (in some sunshine!) Travelling to the city with Uber was very easy. Communication with Harriet was excellent with quick relevant responses. Nice wine & chocolates on arrival too.

Lovely home for our large family get together. When asked questions Elisha was very quick to respond and even recommended some lovely restaurants. We loved Penarth it’s such a lovely place to stay. We could stroll for about 20 minutes to the pier and various restaurants from the house. Also easy access into the city by train.

I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Cardiff within a short walking distance of the city centre. It felt like a home from home rather than a place to stay. Really good touches from Susan upon arrival. The patio area was an ideal place to wind down. I will definitely stay here next time I am in Cardiff!

Amazing house with plenty of room for 11 adults. Spotlessly clean comfortable beds & beautiful linen & towels. Grounds beautiful which made for a very peaceful wkend. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed enjoyed cooking on the aga, added bonus a bbq, even supplied coals. Really enjoyed the formal dinning room it felt really grand. Lynn was lovely & quick to respond to any queries. Highly recommended.

Six of us stayed here very comfortably . The kitchen is spacious, weĺl equipped and good for family meals. Parking space is excellent. Within walking distance of the centre of town. Danny was very helpful and welcoming. There's a lovely garden space as well, which we didn't use as we were out most of the time. Thank you Danny

Red Kite lodge is really great place to stay, really recommended. Superb accommodation, plenty of space and very comfortable. Great scenery and the picnic area down by the river was perfect in the evening to relax after travelling around the area during the day. A good location for anyone wanting to visit the many wildlife locations that are within an hour or so from the house. Aled was very friendly and helpful, greeting us upon arrival, and making check-out easy and fuss free. In hindsight we wish we had booked for a longer stay!

I had some issue finding rhe place but i blame myself because i don't understand Welsh language, although i ask a welsh man he had no clue the name of the property. We were an hour late for checking. We could find the property and times went past untill we had to move on and near enough to set on a hotel nearby until we heard from Lisa. Bad experience anyway its happen but nothing i can do.

We booked Rachel's place really last minute and she was so accommodating. It is a gorgeous cottage with everything you need. A short walk down the hill leads to a small park, which is where you can get onto a cycle path that takes you to Blackpill. The cottage is well kitted out for children with lots of board games, toys and a trampoline, which our little one loved. We'll definitely come and stay again. Thank you.

A beautiful house booked for a large family to celebrate my Mum's 60th Birthday. The house was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Upon arrival was a welcome basket and a birthday card which was appreciated by my mum, thank you. We brought 3 kids with us and they had plenty of space in a safe, enclosed area to play which was brilliant. The views out the front of the house were beautiful, literally overlooking the estuary and the sunsets are incredible. It might have been better if the grass had been mowed to look a bit more presentable. Also some more furniture out the front to enjoy the views. Location wise this house was perfect! It was 10/15 minutes walk down to a lovely Restuarant called The Estuary which we visited for a birthday lunch. Connected was an ice cream parlour and directly opposite was a play park so the kids were happy! We also visited the chippy was great! We will definitely be looking to book again! Aimed was a great host and very responsive, thank you again!

An outstanding location and extremely well finished property, with lots of thoughtful touches - even spare bowls for the dog. The house has a fabulous outdoor area and well equipped kitchen. Everything was very comfortable - the kids loved the big lawn and feeding the ponies. We enjoyed having a go with the pizza oven outside. Hosts Adrian and Mary are lovely and we loved our stay. This part of Wales was new to us and it has lots of pretty seaside towns and good places to walk and eat. We would like to return!

A place with the WOW factor. Scenery is just amazing. Beautiful little spot with the added bonus of a pool and our own private hot tub. Relaxing environment and spacious surroundings. Totally recommend.

Emma was a fantastic host! Her house was amazing and we felt right at home! She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and we even had some little extras like access to the garden and a late check out. We want to come back as soon as we can! A perfect weekend away with our best friends and kids. 🥰😍

Was a great place to stay when we visited the Urdd Eisteddfod which was held in Margam Park this year. The house was very clean and Yan was very easy to get in touch with if we required anything. We have 4 young children, who loved the added bonus of the toys that were in the house. Everything you would need for a short stay was in the house. Thank you 😊

We had a fantastic stay at The Old Cow Shed! The space was beautifully converted and offered everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable getaway. We stayed with three families, and there was plenty of room for everyone—spacious living areas, big bedrooms, and enough bathrooms to make things easy and stress-free. The hot tub, pool table and ping pong was a definite highlight, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The natural swim pond was an incredible experience—refreshing and unique, it really added something special to our stay. It’s set in a calm and quiet location, it was the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Peaceful mornings and tranquil evenings made it feel like a true retreat. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and very helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place with great views and lots of activities to do around. The property was equipped with all the essentials. It’s a nice place for family as there were lot of toys and fun board games to play for kids. There was a special treasure hunt created by the host which my son thoroughly enjoyed doing. I think finding the treasure was his highlight of this trip all thanks to the host for arranging it. It’s said that we couldn’t use the swimming pool as it’s only from 7 to 5 pm and we were out exploring the nearby places so could never make it back by 5 pm. But I am surely going to book this place again with a larger group just to enjoy the experience ! I highly recommend this place for large families as you would enjoy everything that this place has to offer and would not get bored a bit !

we really enjoyed our stay for the Easter weekend. The cottage is very spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you need. The location is just beautiful in the middle of nature, a perfect place to relax and recharge. Alex was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

An absolutely stunning property with every detail thought of and provided. The interior has been beautifully decorated and bathrooms were very clean with great showers! Kitchen has plenty of gorgeous serving dishes and 2 dishwashers which was very useful! Pool and Hot tub were both very clean with good pump/filter system. There is a very helpful book provided by the host with many activities/places to eat recommendations. The location was perfect for walks straight from the property either to the beach or woodland walks. Would definitely be back again, the host was very responsive and helped with recommendations leading up to our stay.

A fantastic few days away. The house is beautiful and in a gem of a location. Definitely would visit again!
