Myself and my partner had an amazing time here from arrival till we left. Leigh was nothing shy of being a fantastic host! She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and always responds quickly if you have a question or need something. The cabins were pristine and beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and comfortable experience. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back in the future.

My husband and I were after a quiet couple of days away and Catherine's place was perfect! Stunning views, quiet and secluded. A perfectly formed little cabin with everything you could need. Very comfy bed and the hot tub is a lovely extra. Gartmore itself is a pretty little village but also within easy access to lots of lovely walks, lochs and scenery. Very happy customers!

Excellent accommodation and location, a real memorable trip. The restaurant is pretty much 'on-site' and was excellent. One negative - the hob. Seems like a small thing but when you are cooking for 8 and struggling to hold water at the boil it is frustrating. It was so weak. Since it is accommodation for 8, it really ought to be a more powerful hob. Frying bacon took *ages* ! Otherwise amazing, and highly recommended *****

Its as beautiful as it seems As peaceful as you can imagine Best place for peace Hot Tub is amazing Accommodation is clean n all the amenities are available. Best for couples with kids Plenty of space Nature 💗 You get to see farms n animals just behind the lodge. Lynsey is super responsive n helpful.

One of the best lodges I have been to. Host was very easy to contact and quick response. Uber eats / just eats had loads of places that delivered which is ideal and unusual so was a win for us! Couldn’t recommend this lodge more!!!! Only downfall was we wanted to do a bbq as it was sunny but this is not allowed and could receive an £200 fine for doing so. But there is no limit to times using hot tub just that respect quite hours which is reasonable, 10/10 stay lodge is a lot bigger than pictures also🥰

Fantastic location! Felt like home away from home. Samantha was extremely helpful with the amount of information she provided when we first booked. Would definitely recommend this anyone looking for a quiet cosy weekend away!

Fantastic stay at a lovely cabin. Ideally situated amongst beautiful landscape. Lots of walks straight out the garden and only a short stroll in to the village which was great. The dogs absolutely loved it too! Will definitely return - thanks Rob! Great host - everything was super easy!

This is my second visit to the Farmer’s Cottage, and once again, I was blown away by the peace and tranquility. There have been some improvements to the site since my last visit, including a few new additions such as the boat and the camping pod. John and his team are always on hand to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible, and it was lovely to watch and chat with the young girls tending their horses. I will definitely return for more country walks, beautiful sunsets, and an uninterrupted night’s sleep. I would highly recommend it.

Had a wonderful stay at the Bothy! Had a fun adventure driving up to it. Really sets that remote feeling. Surroundings are sunning and the bothy has all the basics you need.

Cozy little cabin in a very beautiful village, close to a few Munro's. The gardens are beautiful if you can brave the midgies or the wind is up. lot of nice walks around through beautiful woods, by the riverside and through wildflower meadows if you don't fancy a Munro.

We had a lovely stay, the place is absolutely beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The views are incredible and falling asleep to the sound of the stream was heaven. The photos really don’t do this place justice. Lucy the host was super responsive and others we met that worked on the farm were also really nice and helpful. Already hoping to return! The little town is a short drive away and has some nice spots for food. It’s a really good location. Highly recommended. Thank you for a great stay!

A fantastic getaway lodge in one of Scotland's most stunning locations, so peaceful and relaxing. A great base for both heading out to explore and coming back to chill out. Can't wait to return!

This is one of my favourite airbnbs of all time! The location is gorgeous but still in easy reach of shops etc, the cabin itself was really comfy and Jo was a really fantastic host. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again, I'm already planning my next trip!

Lovely lodge, great layout having the 2 bedrooms, effectively 2 living rooms being sectioned off with doors to be able to read quietly from the main living room.. excellent kitchen facilities..

great cabin to stay. the bathroom are clean n everything is well thought and thoughtful. host charlie n mel family are kind and elegant. makes me love edinburgh more and the stay was comfortable. they are the dream airbnb host.

The Pottery was everything we could have hoped for, peaceful, quiet and cozy. It was well equipped and comfortably decorated. Stefan was very responsive when we had a tiny hiccup. That to me is worth a lot as things can happen. It was very conveniently located with a large market near by. The area is lovely and bucolic and Borthwick Castle is just up the road a bit. Although it is a private venue we did go up and take a look and were able to walk around the old church and graveyard next to it. Samantha communicated before and throughout our stay which I appreciated. I’m sorry we didn’t get a chance to meet. Thank you Samantha and Stefan for sharing your labor of love and we wish you the best with all of your renovating projects!

Beautiful, comfortable and well thought out holiday home. Hot tub was an added bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would come back and would recommend it to others. Delightful place.

Absolutely beautiful location, with stunning views of Fife countryside and over to St Andrews and the sea. Lovely cosy lodge that easily accommodated our family very comfortably. Incredibly well equipped kitchen. The outdoor play area was a great bonus and our children spent lots of time playing on the tractor and trampolines in the Fife sunshine. Short drive from St. Andrews. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. There is nothing we would want more. The Birch Lodge is very comfortable and spacious. The surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. Even though it was our second time at the Lodge we are already planning our next visit. Thank you for having us. Joanna and Mariusz

The lodge was cosy and comfortable. Although several decades old, it had very recently been updated with new furniture, and new fittings in the kitchen and bathroom. The lodge was conveniently close to the loch-side, and the site itself was well situated for access to Killin and the surrounding countryside.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. The location has a beautiful view and was very quiet, yet close to both Innerleithen and Peebles. We would definitely stay again!

This cabin is a lovely little spot to switch off and enjoy some proper peace and quiet. As soon as we arrived, we spotted three red squirrels on the feeder right by the deck which was a magical start to our trip. The whole woodland is full of wildlife, and we spent hours just sitting back and watching the birds go about their day. The hosts have put together a really helpful guide to local activities, and their recommendation for a short circular walk is the perfect way to explore the area. As another guest has said, it’s a good idea to plan your meals ahead of time. Black Bull Gartmore is really friendly, but the menu’s a bit on the basic side. We had a lovely breakfast at The Blair Drummond Smiddy Farm Shop (30mins away) which is perfect for buying food too. All in all, a wonderful little hideaway – peaceful, full of wildlife, and the perfect place to slow down for a while. Thank you!
