Henry has an awesome place. We had wonderful time enjoying the surroundings. The place matches description and is even better than that. Henry is an excellent host - prompt, responsive and non-intrusive. Thanks for giving us a great experience!

The Doocot: Beautiful countryside cottage

ChelseaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely property and grounds! The only issue we had was that every taxi driver struggled to find the property. The postcode directs them to the property next to The Doocot and there is no sign to highlight the name of the property.

We had a wonderful time at Nick & Kirsty property, it was like living in your own home but without the Children & Grandchild (Joking). Everything is there for your Holiday break.

Scottish country garden cottage near Edinburgh

MeganRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great stay and would love to return. Heather’s home is inviting, very clean and cozy. We felt welcomed immediately. The decorating is lovely and the grounds are perfect for two dogs. The location is so easy for quick grocery runs and trips into Edinburgh on the train from Linlithgow. One of our favorite AirBnB stays. Only thing to pay attention to is, if you have dogs, the road is busy and cars are moving at 60mph. I don’t recommend walking them as you have to cross the street. We drove them to some spots and walked around like Swanson’s Farm to see the highland cows. They loved it and it was an easy workaround. The garden is plenty big enough for dog exercise and not having to go anywhere!

Linlithgow quiet 1 bed with kitchen and garden

PascalRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay at this place. The surroundings were just fantastic – quiet streets, lots of shops nearby and numerous opportunities to enjoy nature. We explored the neighborhood and found many charming cafes and restaurants. The space itself was very comfortable and well appointed. Everything was clean and welcoming, and there was enough space for us to relax. A big plus was the opportunity to walk to the train station, which made it easier for us to explore the city. We can recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

Dovetshill Guest House

We had a lovely stay thank you! It was so nice to spend some time in the fresh air with all the animals, and thank you for introducing us to some of the horses ! The family dogs are the sweetest and would love to play fetch on a walk around the property if you’re game. We even had a last minute addition of two more ppl to our reservation when their accoms fell through and our host allowed us to edit and add them last minute. We were able to throw in some quick laundry, relax a little, and head out to our next wedding refreshed. Thanks for everything !

Linlithgow Cottages

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to our Airbnb host, Francisco. I booked a month's stay at his property to host friends visiting from Southeast Asia, and they were all thrilled with the experience. The house is situated in a peaceful countryside area, surrounded by historic castles and charming towns. Grocery stores and restaurants are conveniently nearby, easily accessible by taxi. The fresh air during morning walks was refreshing, and after a busy work schedule, this month-long retreat provided a much-needed escape. It truly restored my courage to return to the city. I highly recommend Francisco's place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
