Historic house in Bourton on the Water

HirenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was the most unique house we’ve ever stayed in. We understand it use to be part of a Manor House and came with loads of history making it very special. The house was neat and tidy and was well equipped throughout, particularly in the kitchen. Location was perfect with it being in the centre of the village, and with 2 parking spots which is rare. Christine the host kept in touch, with clear instructions and there were guides at the house when we got there If only all homes were to such a high standard

Capacious Stone Barn Private Studio, Cotswolds

Laura & TylerRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I can’t say enough about the beautiful and peaceful location of this AirBnB. We arrived to a pristine studio in a gorgeous remodeled barn exactly as described and pictured. The gorgeous views out the windows made every day a joyful one, with long views across the Cotswolds with rolling hills, hedgerows, sheep grazing and a quaint village on the far hill. Great recommendations in the book provided and we ate at 3 of the restaurants, all were excellent as described. We even walked on the footpath from the property to The Lamb Inn for a delicious dinner. Safe place to park our car, completely quiet and comfortable sleep, and all the amenities needed to cook ourselves breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend and we will hope to stay again when we visit the Cotswolds in the future.

2 Candlemas Cottage

BradyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This place was amazing!!! Burton-on-the-water is a magical place and Sean’s cottage puts you right in the center of the little town. There are so many restaurants and ice cream shops within a 1-2 min walk along a beautiful little river. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 5 (2 young children and a toddler). It felt cozy and quaint and would highly recommend it to all!

The Best Location In Bourton-Parking-BBQ-Garden

LaurenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
You couldn’t pick a better location in Bourton-on-the-Water if you tried! It is literal steps away from exactly where you want to be but at the same time is a lovely quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. The cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of well thought out details and amenities and the private garden is really nice on a summer evening. We were all very happy - 4 adults, 2 small children and a dog. The only cautions I have is we tried to park in the reserved spot during a cricket match and the spot was taken. We ended up paying for a couple hours parking elsewhere and then just moved the car once the match was over so not a big deal. Also the radiator covers are freestanding and not attached to the wall so my one year old nearly pulled it over on top of her so just to be mindful if you have little ones. But overall those things didn’t put us off at all and we would absolutely stay again! Chris was also very responsive and helpful, and let us check out late! Thank you!

Exceptional place to stay. We would highly recommend to anyone to stay here. The house was squeaky clean, and we felt right at home here. The location was stunning and the hosts were so incredibly friendly. We can’t thank them enough and we are already looking to come back in the new year and in the summer also. Thank you so much!

Iconic Riverside House with garden and parking

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a truly lovely stay at this charming home right on the river in Bourton-on-the-Water. The location is unbeatable—there’s a vibrant scene just outside the front door with shops, bridges, and so much to explore within steps. We especially loved being able to walk to Bakery on the Water each morning—an amazing spot for breakfast, pastries, and coffee. The house was perfect for our family—my mom, sister, and niece all felt so comfortable. It’s spacious, cozy, and beautifully maintained, with a surprisingly large and well-appointed kitchen. We also really appreciated the number of bathrooms, which made everything smooth and easy. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the best of the Cotswolds. Highly recommend!
