On the first level there is living area with sleeper sofa, small table and chairs, then there is the kitchen with large fridge and stove. The bathroom comes with a shower. After your day's activity enjoy the patio with a glass of wine or just take a stroll down the dock and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

Experience living tiny in this lovingly built small scale space that includes everything you need for a cozy getaway. Return from a day of hiking in Acadia National Park to soak in the clawfoot tub or relax on the tiny deck, with a glimpse of the ocean. This 20ft x 8ft tiny home is situated in a backyard, a short walk from Manset Town Dock and Peter Trout Tavern, and a five-minute drive from Southwest Harbor and parts of Acadia National Park (about 20 min to longer hikes and the loop road).

This unique place has a style all its own. It’s an open concept studio for two on the “quietside” of Mount Desert Island. This cozy, newly constructed nook is the perfect place to rest your head after exploring all our island has to offer! Note, there is no oven or cooktop. Your kitchenette will provide a sink, refrigerator, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. Your studio is the downstairs to the owners apartment, both with their own entrance and shares a driveway with my other rental.

For anything else, take the ten minute stroll to the village where you'll find plenty of shops and restaurants. Access to the water is easy for those who don't mind a little clamoring down the bluff. End your days on the deck and keep your eyes peeled for seals!

Located on the west (“quiet") side of Mount Desert Island, 2 minutes from Acadia National Park hiking trails, Echo Lake Beach, downtown Southwest Harbor; 25 minutes to Bar Harbor. Our location is beautiful and quiet, surrounded by woods. This apartment is on the 2nd level; it offers privacy: your own driveway, exterior entrance and patio area all to yourself! It feels secluded. 2024: new deck and heat pump (air conditioning, no humidity!) make it better than ever this year!

Between Bar Harbor and Seal Harbor, 10 minutes by car to both and just 5 minutes by car to the Otter Cliff entrance to Acadia Park Loop Road. Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

House abuts Acadia National Park; Seal Harbor Beach and carriage roads are easy walking or biking distance! Only 12 minutes to Bar Harbor and 5 to Northeast Harbor.
