Holiday rentals with a pool in Little Battaleys

Our family enjoyed Villa Irene, an impressive place with its large footprint, beautiful ocean view, and well-appointed rooms. Bedrooms with their own bathrooms was great. We appreciated the 2 marked steps leading to the bedroom where our elderly family member slept. She was reminded to look as she stepped. The airy nature of the Villa and the fans allowed for nice breezes. However, we spent the hottest part of the day at the beach, which offered more refreshing breezes at that time. We enjoyed the infinity pool in the morning or after returning from afternoon outings. The large kitchen was well stocked and the overhead fans in the kitchen, livingroom, and bedrooms and on the veranda were nice to have as well. (We didn't want to use bedroom ACs other than at bedtime.) Patricia the housekeeper was great! Favorite place: the veranda for reading or talking while seated around a large wood table. Some house construction was happening nearby but we were not bothered by it.

My wife and I, including our kids aged 6 and 3 really enjoyed our time at Monkey Corner (we did spot some monkeys as well!) - the tennis courts, pool house, club house and gym are all within walking distance. Our host, Brigitte, was very responsive throughout and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay - especially the day we arrived - saved us a couple of errands with the kids. The Villa was clean and modern with lots of seating around the place - our kids easily navigated the villa without us - we will stay again!

It would be easy to end up in the wrong area or with a bland villa in Barbados, but Mustard Seed is ideal on both counts. Sally at Chestertons was extremely helpful, this is not the cheapest holiday, but you definitely get what you pay for. Everything was made safe for children - we had a toddler in the group - and the very well appointed rooms had quirkiness and an authentic tropics vibe. Walkable excellent beach and restaurants, but I would recommend the concierge service for airport transfers, initial food shopping and car hire. You're better with your own car. Great holiday, great villa, great host.

Had a fantastic time at Gibbs Breeze. The villa was perfect, plenty of space and extremely comfortable. The outside area was lovely, we loved spending time in the pool.

Lovely place, in a really sweet gated community. Was vewry quiet whilst we were there, very rarely saw anyone else at the pool or in the grounds. Quick to the beach in the car and to family up in St Lucy... perfect place for us with our 3 month old baby... Tya who was in communication with us and managed the villa was wonderfully helpful and accommodating.

Rachel is a very responsive person to deal with. She helped with everything thing I could possibly need. I never has someone so helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Fantastic house, beautiful west facing views for sunset over the sea, really close to Fish Pot restaurant with beach and pier to swim off. The house itself is even better than the photos, and the rooms are all to a high spec with aircon and lots of space. We liked being at the quieter end of the island, it's very private and quiet. David and Chris were excellent hosts, Chris was very helpful and gave us suggestions for lunch restaurants on the beaches. Would highly recommend and stay again, thank you.

Queens Towers was even more beautiful than the photos showed. Viv has fantastic interior taste - it was far more beautiful than any of the nearby luxury hotels. Celeste who checked us in and the management team couldn't have done any more to improve our stay. They were all delightful. The location is brilliant for Hometown. The added joys that we didn't expect - a fridge with an ice maker and cold water and the most enormous TV with all the sports channels. My only regret - our football team lost twice whilst we stayed here! Thank you Viv and Celeste! We would love to return

We loved staying here. It has been our favorite place we’ve stayed in Barbados. Very close to the main street, imart, and beach. We enjoyed swimming and lounging by the pool. Seeing monkeys run through the area by the pool was an amazing sight to see. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Our stay at Jenna's place was wonderful. We didn't have a car, so we relied on our feet or buses, or taxis. The last ones are very expensive like the whole island. It is walkable distance to Massy supermarket, and the beach. Our favorite beach was the Brownies Beach, right after the Pebbles beach. For those you have to take a bus. There are also closes beaches by the main road. I would recommend to visit Botanical Garden where they feed monkeys twice a day at 11am or 2 pm, also visit Batsheba - the most beautiful views in Caribbean, Harrison Caves - so, so, definitely overpriced. Go for a walk at the boardwalk in the evening. The boardwalk starts at Rockley beach and goes a long the coast. The apartment itself is located in beautiful natural environment, golf course with old trees. Apartment had all that you need, there is also laundromat, and by the laundromat big room full of books ...thank you Jeena and Mark for the awesome stay!

This listing was great. Perfectly located near to restaurants and groceries. An ideal central location in my opinion and we felt safe as the compound is gated. Our luggage was lost but the list had a wash/dryer with detergent so we could keep our clothes clean until our luggage was returned to us. An overall great stay and I would recommend.

From our first enquiry to check-out, our experience with Preetam and this property was exceptional. We were traveling from Ireland with our 3-year-old and 5-month-old and were a bit nervous, but everything we needed—travel cot, highchair, baby bath, even kids' plates—was ready for us. Though there were no reviews when we booked, we were quickly reassured—the apartment was even better than the photos. Thoughtfully decorated and fully stocked, it’s clear a lot of care went into every detail. We’ve traveled a lot, and this was by far our best accommodation experience. Having the sea right outside was a real treat, and the beach was quiet and peaceful. One note: we’d have been lost without a car, as most restaurants and amenities are around 30 minutes away, there is not a lot in the immediate location. Definitely ask Preetam for restaurant/ disk recommendations! You are in for a treat! It really was the most beautiful place to stay, thank you.

Sarah's home is a GEM, simply beautiful, amazing, relaxing & superbly located in a private & peaceful area. It felt much bigger than the photos described, we felt very at home, lots of space/ bathrooms. Super comfy beds, linen & towels pristine & plentiful. The balcony was huge it has stunning views which were breathtaking, so relaxing. We were able to see the pool from our balcony which is handy to check-in on my youngest who couldn't get enough. The pool was spotless & cleaned regular. Gibbes beach was very close less than 10mins walk, Mullins extra 10min & lots of places to eat CCs etc. We visited Speightsown, Oistins, Bridgetown & Holetown mostly by bus, the yellow one. it was fab. Took the Blue bus to Bridgetown & has WiFi (blue bus is Government) have exact money drivers do not handle cash, fare is placed directly in pay box (no change given) Big supermarket in Holetown has everything. Karen’s place was absolutely perfect for me as a solo traveller. I was there for work but wanted to be close to everything (I had a car). The apartment itself is split level with a ladder / Stair up to the bed mezzanine. This gives you loads of space. With a really nice balcony overlooking the golf course. WiFi was super fast and the place is immaculate. If you’re into the more vibrant style of Barbados everywhere is reachable with a short walk and then a ride on the ZR’s from the main road. If you’re driving everything is within 20 mins max. Overall couldn’t ask for more and hope the place is free next time I’m back. Thanks so much!

Matthew and Barry's home was absolutely lovely – cozy, stylish, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Tony was so lovely and helpful throughout our stay – a great man who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
