Had an amazing time! The house is in the most beautiful place, with stunning views all around. Balcony has a beautiful view, especially at sunrise as well as the mountains behind. Adolf is incredibly hospitable and helpful with local recommendations. The house is even more impressive than the photos! Ideal location for exploring Blyde River Canyon. Was an amazing time away!

We had an amazing time staying here! The house was beautiful and we loved seeing the animals around Marloth Park everyday! Lizelle recommended an excellent safari tour guide and we ended up going twice. We would love to come back someday!

We had a great stay with our little family, kid friendly space and baby proof! We loved the aesthetic of the decor and Kobie provided great recommendations for activities with the little ones!

I was worried that the house wouldn’t look as nice as it did in the pictures, but wow, it was even better in person. It is a stunning place. Open plan and beautiful, it brought the outside in. It was peaceful and animals happily wandered past. The stars at night were just insane!! It’s in a really great spot, but also close to amenities. Will definitely be back!!

Fine house, thoughtful and very helpful hosts. Decent kitchen and braii, good wine glasses - these are the things that matter! The wildlife visiting the deck was a treat - feeding kudu from a bucket, zebra from the hand - carefully… For those who don’t know Marloth Park, it’s a large, secure, gated estate. Walking after dark is discouraged because there’s a small risk from predators, not crime…. Two supermarkets, butchers and the pub are a minute’s drive away. Hope to make a repeat visit soon.

We have just come back from spending nine unforgettable nights at Penzhorn Rest Cottage and it exceeded all of our expectations - even better than the photos! Zonja, our host, welcomed us warmly on arrival and was so accommodating to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Her hospitality has honestly blown us away! The highlight of our stay was the daily sight and sound of the river with nightly hippo visitors which added such a magical touch to our stay, immersing us in the beauty and awe of the African bush. Whether enjoying a coffee while reading by the river or relaxing in the ‘bosbad’ every moment felt really special to us! Zonja’s meticulous eye for detail was evident in the small touches around the cottage which made us feel right at home. This is a haven for nature lovers seeking a luxurious yet authentic escape. If you decide to book this listing you won’t be disappointed! We left feeling rejuvenated and are already looking forward to returning!

The place was lovely and very aesthetically pleasing with a charming design and a truly beautiful garden. Sonja (The host) was fantastic: super friendly, open, and always available for any questions or help we needed. She was also really flexible, which made everything so easy and stress-free. Here are a few highlights: - The loft was immaculately clean, with spotless linen and a comfortable bed that smelled nice. - The bathroom was clean and spacious, with a fantastic shower. - We loved the coffee/tea station - a lovely touch! - The bar fridge was convenient for storing our refreshments. - The TV had Netflix, Google TV, and YouTube, which kept us entertained. - Our host, Helle, was super helpful and accommodating with our additional requirements. - Helle recommended activities around the estate - The check-in process was seamless and straightforward, thanks to clear communication beforehand. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and spotlessly clean Airbnb.The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and even some surprises that made our stay feel extra special. The location was perfect, with a lovely park just a short walk away, and the property offered plenty of privacy. Although the weather didn't cooperate with our plans, we were more than happy to stay in and and enjoy the space. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable and relaxing retreat. What really impressed us, though, was the host's responsiveness and care - we had a bit of an incident with the alarm late at night, and she quickly checked in to make sure everything was fine. Her attentiveness and kindness really made our stay feel extra special. We'd highly recommend this place!

Queen's place is the best place I have been to thus far, Queen and her husband are very friendly and welcoming, my mom and I felt at home the moment we arrived until the last day, for anyone who likes nature and peace, Queen's place is the right place to be. I will definitely book again when I visit Polokwane.
