We had a lovely time staying at the Old Angel with a large group of women. The sheer number of bathrooms was super handy with the large group number, and the living and dining spaces were super functional for a group of our size. There is a one half freezer and a large fridge, which Nicola had left some treats in which was a lovely touch. Bedrooms were well organised and very clean, with towels provided. There’s a village shop right next door, and a pub 20 meters away which was glorious in the May sunshine. Nicola and her team were very helpful in response to any questions/feedback we we had - overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend this place to others!

Decent little find this, four bed house tucked away in a quiet housing area. Easy to check in at the leisure centre for the keys, didn't use the facility but they do a decent well priced brekki. House is clean, beds are comfy and the shower runs hot. Jobs a good one for a couple of nights, would recommend.

This is a beautiful let to stay at, The pool is magnificent and the house is top class. Loads of hidden features all around and a ginormous TV! Great hosts & Lovely plot & local area. Highly recommend Bears Paw for food just 5 mins away. Thank you, We would love to come back

Big, beautiful home for a large gathering. Decorated the summer house for my daughter's 21st which was lovely. Lovely garden with furniture and hot tub. Plenty of bathrooms. Had a lovely stay

Stunning property, furnished beautifully, with wonderful crockery always a bonus & you can tell everything has been thought through with care & attention to detail. Just simply beautiful & the dogs loved the resident dogs. You will not be disappointed plus the sofa & bed are super comfy. Everything you need for a wonderful trip away ❤️

Had a great stay at Adam’s place. He was very responsive and the house was super clean and cozy. Perfectly located for me to stay close to family. Kitchen well equipped and beds are super comfy. Bath tub was a dream! Thanks again Adam!

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay, I would absolutely come back with very little hesitation! I will however point out a few things that may be helpful if you choose to stay on this wonderful property... because it doesn't have aircon, if you are staying during a bout of warm weather, all of the gorgeous windows do turn the cottage into a bit of a greenhouse - however because they all open up, a breeze is totally possible. Only other note is when opening the windows to cool down (and because this is a real farm in the country) there are A LOT of bug friends you will make. I think we'll come prepared with a bug candle or two next time so we can enjoy the open air and less mosquitoes ;-)

We had a wonderful cosy stay. The house was so clean clutter free and well equipped. We had some lovely walks over the fields near by, enjoyed coffee from the near coffee shop. Liz was very kind and approachable host. We re so grateful for such a welcoming stay. Thank you very much you have a beautiful home.

Great Host. Exactly as described and perfect for what we needed it for so all the family could stay together. Great location and easily located. There is everything you could possibly need and more for your stay. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. The bread, milk and cereals etc were a lovely bonus. Would definitely stay again.

One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at! Jane was a lovely host, so responsive and helpful, and had thought of everything! Property was spotless and well stocked, especially the kitchen which had everything you could need. All beds were very comfortable, showers and bath were fabulous! We stayed with our three year old and one year old, the house is very child friendly and baby safe. Location is ideal for the short walk to Tutbury and for drives around the local area. Would absolutely stay again, highly recommend.

Very comfortable house kept to high standard of decor and cleanliness. Host has thought about all the guests needs meaning we felt right at home straight away. Parking was right outside the front door which was great. Would love to stay again if we are in the area again.

This is my second stay here and it was just as good as the first (apart from the weather being so warm). Clear instructions from the owner and really easy to gain access. I will 100% stay again if available.

Although the location was a bit far from the main activities, it was peaceful and quiet—great for relaxing. The host was friendly, very responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a lovely experience and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated place to stay.

Great house that was well presented. Plentiful crockery, cutlery and pans in the clean kitchen. Comfortable for the four of us, who are all at least 6’ tall. Good location that suited our needs fine, with on street parking available at the front door.

I had a really lovely stay – the house is beautifully done, spotless throughout and in such a peaceful location. It was a perfect base for a course I was doing nearby, and being so close to a couple of big supermarkets was also super convenient. The bed was incredibly comfy and all the instructions for the house were really clear, which made everything super easy. The kitchen was great – both the oven and fridge were spotlessand there was such a generous range of condiments, tea, coffee and bits in the fridge available to use. It was such a thoughtful touch and made it feel really welcoming. A huge thank you to Dayna for being so kind and understanding during my stay – it meant a lot. I also really appreciated the offer of a flexible check-out, even though I didn’t end up needing it. Would absolutely recommend this place to others – it’s a lovely home and Dayna is so thoughtful!
