This is a beautiful let to stay at, The pool is magnificent and the house is top class. Loads of hidden features all around and a ginormous TV! Great hosts & Lovely plot & local area. Highly recommend Bears Paw for food just 5 mins away. Thank you, We would love to come back

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

Fabulous place - we stayed for a week - with 2 teenagers, a preteen and our dog - great field opposite to run the dog morning and evening. Plenty of beautiful walks straight from the front door. 45 minutes to nearest place to eat out. Facilities were great - lots of swimming and football played by our kids. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a lovely 2 night family break at Peacock Barn over October half term. It's a beautiful property with fantastic amenities and perfectly located for exploring the many sites and activities the area has to offer. The swimming pool and games room provided the children with a space to play and have fun which was a key factor for choosing this property. The garden was great for our dog providing plenty of space to run around and secure, providing peace of mind. It would be the perfect spot to enjoy during the summer months. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for having us!

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us (and our dog!). The area is stunning, very quiet with plenty of nice walks. The pool/games room area is shared with the other cottages, which wasn't made clear when booking. We thought it was part of our cottage, which we were slightly disappointed to find out this wasn't the case. However, overall we'd still consider staying here again!

Stunning property, furnished beautifully, with wonderful crockery always a bonus & you can tell everything has been thought through with care & attention to detail. Just simply beautiful & the dogs loved the resident dogs. You will not be disappointed plus the sofa & bed are super comfy. Everything you need for a wonderful trip away ❤️

The showers (which is what you’ve actually came to read the reviews for) were top-notch—powerful, hot, and exactly what you need after a long day of exploring. Beyond that, the accommodation exceeded all expectations. It was even more spacious than the photos suggested, set within beautiful grounds that provided plenty of room to unwind. The location was ideal, with easy access to stunning walks and local attractions. Oliver was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and incredibly accommodating with all my messages. His attentiveness made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located getaway in the Peak District!

Lovely stay in beautiful surroundings. The host helped me when i woke to a flat tyre and lent me their compressor to inflate my tyre. I was extremely grateful for their quick response and help on a sunday morning 😊 I recommend staying at the cottages, ours was spacious and had everything you could need.

Enjoyed a lovely weekend in the West Gatehouse. Such an amazing place, beautifully furnished and the attention to detail in the items provided was superb from the well stocked kitchen to the complimentary welcome hamper. The grounds were gorgeous and we enjoyed many lovely walks in the area. Would highly recomend this place. Rebecca also gave us a tour of the main house and gardens and provided a lovely afternoon tea. Patshull Hall is such an interesting place with a long history, it was a delight to find out more about the building. Thank you so much, we hope to return.

Lynda was really lovely and came to greet us when we arrived which was very much appreciated. Super friendly and very approachable. The living room is lovely and has a fabulous aspect onto a peaceful patio overlooking a flower covered meadow. Shame the weather didn't allow us to use it.

We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

The Old Timber Store was everything and more, a gorgeous little gem nestled in the Derbyshire Hills. The property itself was tastefully decorated with beautiful furnishings (I’ve definitely taken some inspiration for my own home!), and the location was lovely! The amenities in the village were wonderful and the property was so close to Haddon Hall and Chatsworth - was really easy to nip back and forth with our 6 month old daughter. A wonderful stay with lots of gorgeous walks, if you’re thinking about booking this place - do it!

We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely spot in Tean. It was a beautiful find. peaceful, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Sophie was a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and clearly thoughtful. The little touches throughout the house made it feel extra special and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for more. Well what can I say… if I could give 100 stars I would! Phillipa was amazing. She was so helpful and supportive to me organising my sisters low key hen do here. We had the most amazing time - the perfect cottage. We made friends with lambs, soaked in the hot tub, chilled and ate pies at the red lion! We really felt at home and it was so so special. Phillipa added so many personal touches and we even got to meet one of her little doggies Stanley. Phillipa we WILL be back! Thank you!!!!

We had such a lovely time here - a beautiful location and little touches that made us feel so welcome and at home. A lovely private, peaceful location, ideal enclosed garden space for the dog to run around in and gorgeous views for yoga and meditation outside. It was lovely getting to know Shirley and Maurice too, really was a great stay. We’ve never revisited an Airbnb but are already thinking about coming back - Louie the dog loved it as much as we did 😊

This is our 4th stay at Arlene's lovely home. We love coming staying here its like home from home for us. We are having some renovations done on our home so we didnt hesitate to stay here for a few days Cannot recommend this place enough. This time we went to a lovely restaurant in Newcastle, The Arch for a Chinese, it was really nice. We will be back. Thanks Again Arlene

I booked this accommodation for my colleagues that were working in the area. They loved it. Everywhere clean, comfortable beds, we'll equipped kitchen, great location and parking. Everything you could want for a great stay. The hosts were helpful and informative. I would recommend and will book again when we are working in the area.

Stones throw is in a great location to explore the local area with easy access to main routes. Also as in the name very close to the canal with a very pleasant walk along the canal up to Stone (and beyond). Elizabeth facilitated EV charging at the property which made life very easy with overnight charge up ready for the next day. The house was clean and tidy making for an easy and pleasant stay.
