Holiday rentals with a kayak in Liberty

Great location. Woke up to the sounds of birds. very responsive. I would have given it a 5 star all the way, David was amazing and responded in a very timely manner. But, the turn over service could have been much better. The previous guest left a wine bottle in the automatic fridge ice dispenser and it was unfounded until my family found a large peice of glass in their drink, serious hazard to drink glass. Should have been spotted by the turn over service but, who would check the ice maker for a bottle a wine? I understand that. Very uncommon and unfortunate for us. David responded in a very fast manner and gave us options to accommodate the situation. I would have left a 5 star if this was the only thing but everything was so unorganized in the kitchen, they had everything but nothing made sense to why it was there. Sink didn't drain. There were also stains on the sheets and a pizza box left by the fridge that wasn't ours. Little things but the turn over service was a let down.

Great stay for our family of 5 adults and 3 toddlers! Lots to do and great proximity to Acadia/Bar Harbor. House was well supplied with clear instructions. Brady also connected with us before the stay and kept in touch for anything that came up as a concern. Thank you!

We had an amazing time. TJ was very responsive and gave his secrets for fishing! He also accommodated a request that was an overlook on my part. I can’t say enough good things about the place itself or how nice TJ was. It was a phenomenal experience all around!

This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! My wife and I completely enjoyed our stay at Ani’s place. She literally thought of everything any guest could ever want. Beautiful surroundings…walking distance to the Fish Ladder….a couple of miles to all the restaurants downtown. And the place itself is immaculate. The kitchen was perfect for eating in every night. This place is an absolute no-brainer to rent and we can’t wait to return!!!

The lakeside cabin was just what I needed. Quiet, private, and right on the water. My dog loved running in the yard and swimming in the lake. The cabin was comfortable with all the basics, and sitting on the porch watching the water was so relaxing. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet.

The house was clean and at a prestine lication. Jess and Mya were great hosts. They were very responsive and accomodiated all our requests.

Hillary's home was so cozy, beautiful, and just overall a wonderful place to visit. Beds super comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need and more. The view of the lake was so beautiful. I could go on and on.... Hillary is so easy to get along with. Answers all questions and gives great advice of the area and things to do and see. Overall Fantastic! Christ's local convience store has everything!! Our stay was terrific.

Robert was an incredibly responsive, kind and proactive host. The space is exactly as described, comfortable and Robert has thought of everything. The surroundings are amazing, we loved listening to the loons, watching the chipmunks & even got a glimpse of a beaver one morning. Kayaking was great, with the equipment and dock easy to access and use. We visited Acadia and loved having such a quiet respite after long days exploring the beautiful area. Highly recommend staying here, already thinking about our next trip back!

This cabin was very comfortable with great amenities (cooking ware, laundry). The beds and linens were very clean and quite comfortable. We were each given two fresh white towels. The cabin is on a dead end street surrounded by A-frames and little cabins, pretty close together, but no so much thst it felt crowded. Its licated across the street from a lake. There is lake access about 5 houses down - a few minutes walk - down the road. We stayed in May and it was very quiet at night. Mostly, we saw no one, (being somewhat pre-season). But we met one neighbor on a walk who was very friendly and took a moment to say hello and pet put dogs. The local grounds were clean.

Loved our time here! It’s about a 40 minute drive from Portland and then 5-10 from Brunswick. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect, exactly what we needed to relax! We loved coming back from Portland and grabbing dinner and gelato in Brunswick, such a nice way to unwind from a long day. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again :)

Two things stood out to us: Tim and Melissa were fantastic hosts. Responsive, flexible, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. If anything, they kind of undersell the lakeshore. Beautiful, peaceful, and a large area. We were here too early in the season to take full advantage, but this must be heaven in the summer. Hope to come back during kayaking season.

What a beautiful location! David is a great host. He made sure we had good directions, tips for the area, and was quick to answer any questions. The lakeside cabin has absolutely everything you need to have a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The view of the lake is spectacular. The cabin is very clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and Echo lake is a gorgeous pristine lake. Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the dock. We swam, kayaked, canoed and even tried out the paddle boards that came with the house. We would love to come back! Thanks!

I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the lake house and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the little getaway. It is beautifully located on the lake and has this huge window in the living room from which you have an amazing view. The house has everything you need, even washing machine and dryer in the basement. I would 100% recommend this unique place! Christine has been super helpful throughout my stay.

Bruce & Susan were so accommodating and gracious hosts. Property was delightful and fully equipped with all you could need.

After getting things clean we enjoyed 28 days was not good weather went back to take care of our mothers things was good to have this place to come relax in would rent again even tho it wasn’t cleaned they tried to make things right loved the cabin

What a wonderful spot! Gorgeous, quiet pond and relaxing wood fired sauna. Rheanna is a super responsive and helpful host. We'll be back! Just FYI - this cabin is a "three season" structure. Although it was super comfortable, it felt a little more like camping than we originally expected with some cool nights and mornings, a few insect frinds, and a short walk to the shared bathrooms and kitchen area.

We did not take much advantage of all the cabin had to offer; we were in the area for other reasons, and mostly using this as a place to sleep. That was kind of a shame; I hope we can get back there sometime to enjoy the lake and the games and the firepit and the kayaks and the cabin itself. I saw a review saying the beds were a little too hard? I disagree, I thought they were extremely comfortable. The only info I can think of that I didn't see in other reviews: we showed up very late at night, and it was hard to find in the dark (it's very obvious in daylight). It is at an intersection, but GPS sent us slightly past the intersection; it's actually on your left just before you get to the last intersection. Other than that, I agree with all the other positive reviews. Lovely place.

Masha's oasis cabin was just what we needed this weekend. It was so peaceful and private. No lights- just stars, no wifi- just connecting with each other. Masha was such a thoughtful host as well and made sure to check in with us to make sure we didn't need anything else. The cabin is also about an hour and a half from Acadia which makes for the perfect day trip!

My mother and I stayed here for a peaceful weekend and a nearby wedding. As lifelong Mainers, we were looking for a rustic camp on the water with a screened porch, and this place delivered. We spent our time reading, napping, walking, and even doing a little work (the internet was surprisingly fast). It was so nice that we could include our small dog with us as well. While the camp has a rustic charm, it’s thoughtfully outfitted with modern comforts: comfy beds, quality linens, a smart TV, reliable Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts even provided extras most don’t—like paper goods, baggies, matches, and toiletries—and were nearby if anything was needed. They even included shower essentials if you happened to forget any. The sunrise was spectacular from the front porch. Loons swam by daily. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and wish we could have extended it---we would definitely book again! Thank you for being amazing hosts!

We had the most wonderful stay! We spent a week, celebrating our 15th anniversary, soaking in the views, enjoying the wild life and cozying up at the camp fire, enjoying one another’s company. The cabin was clean, stocked with necessities and perfectly decorated. The bed was comfortable and all the linens were clean, with very comfy pillows too! Lots of games were provided, and the view from the living room is stunning. You look right out onto the pond. We had some wildlife visit us, and a chipmunk we made friends with. Look for his little house entrance by the fire pit! He also loved perching on the cairns to watch us Explore the property and find some little hidden gems of beauty The locals were super friendly, Jon was very accommodating and responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience Thank you so much. We are looking forward to visiting again!!

Tara's house was clean and well explained. We would love to stay there again when its warmer and we can enjoy the outdoors more.

When you are out exploring a new area, the perfect way to end each day is in a cozy, relaxing secluded cabin in the woods, and this is just what Destie and George provide at The Little River Retreat. Their cabin, with its wide, inviting front porch with a sunrise view of mist over the pond, is just the place for morning coffee. They have thought of everything in terms of stocking the cabin, including rainy day and evening entertainment for all ages. I definitely overpacked as so much was provided by them! It is so nice to go to a place where you can take a step back from daily life and it's stresses, and just relax. Thank you for 6 wonderful days.
