Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lewis and Harris

This is the most pleasant and scenic place I've ever stayed in the UK! I originally wanted to book a hotel in Portree, but when I saw the photos of this place, I felt it would be great, and I was very satisfied! Aileen is a very enthusiastic host, and we had a super fun chat with her. She also showed us her meaningful collection, and her occasional humor made us laugh. This is the warmth and style of the Highlands, which I really like. If I come to the Highlands again, I will definitely stay here again to enjoy the pleasant scenery!

We loved our time at Chrissie's. She is such a lovely host, who made us feel so welcome and right at home. We had many lovely chats with her and and a few cuddles with her dog Archie. :) Highly recommend.

Lovely hosts and lovely space! Location is great, the bedroom and space were spacious and clean, and the hosts were so lovely and kind. I also got some kitty pets in which made my night. Would stay here again!

The place was clean and peaceful. A good coat rack and lots of hangers, where you can hang your wet clothes. Sandra's breakfast was great, special thanks to the fresh berries and fruits. Sandra quickly answered all our questions. I highly recommend this place.

We loved Maureen for his welcome, his smile, his kindness, his generosity and his patience with us. We had a great exchange despite the language barrier, she took the time to give us good advice. Excellent cook, she cooked us a delicious breakfast😋😋😋. (Maureen, can you give us the recipe for your mushrooms?😋😋😋😋😉). Our room is tastefully decorated. We slept well. Too bad we only stayed one night. We advise guests to meet them. Thank you again, Maureen🫶.

We loved our stay here, the view from the living room is amazing and we loved the breakfast’s every morning! The bedroom was very small but they allow you to use the living area too so not too bad. We also loved the two dogs! Perfect location for visiting the Isle of Skye - would stay here again if we were up.

Elizabeth was very responsive to allow us for flexible check-in. The place is near to Quiraing hiking point (5-10 mins drive)and also many beautiful walks nearby. Elizabeth also made arrangements for free breakfast for the next morning. I would definitely recommend to anyone for quite competitive price. I would definitely visit again.

Elizabeth is a welcoming, warm and friendly host. She has a raft of recommendations locally and all around Scotland.

Christine and Howard were exceptional hosts. Their generosity was more than anything one could wish for . The breakfast the welcome basket, there was so much to choose from . We felt right at home and very comfortable from the start and they were both ready to help and support in anyway. Howard is a mind of information and brilliant to chat to , he was very helpful and gave us lots more of information of where to go on our walks. Thank you Christine and Howard x

We loved our stay at Carol's B&B. It was easy to walk straight into town from there, only one block from the square. Carol was warm and friendly when we showed up and very welcoming. The apartment was exactly what we expected. Only had trouble with the funky British lock on the door but I am not mechanically inclined. And Carol has exact instructions right on the door on how to do it. Just requires some patience, that's all.

Very comfortable and relaxed stay in friendly house - more than enough space so still felt private … great hosts and wonderful breakfast - would love to come back and explore more of the beautiful surroundings - thankyou for letting us stay 🙂

Super cute and charming place! The bed was really comfy, and the views were amazing. We received such a warm welcome — she had a lovely private dining area/room for us with cookies, tea, coffee, toast, and more. Check-in was easy, the place was spotless, and our host was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Glyn and Lynda. The space is exactly as described, but words cant express how beautiful the surroundings are. Everywhere you look there is another amazing view! Glyn’s breakfast feasts were indulgent, delicious, and the perfect start to a day of exploring the island. Glyn and Lynda both had excellent recommendations for navigating the island, restaurants, and off the beaten path recommendations. We even got to meet their sheep and feed them a snack. Thank you to Glyn, Lynda, and sweet Connie for making our time on Skye so magical and for the lovely company and conversation. We hope to return to the Island again and will definitely be staying with Glyn and Lynda if we do.

Vicki and John made our vacation on the Isle of Skye unforgettable, as we could not have dreamed. They were excellent hosts who spoiled us with fresh pastries every day and we felt at home from the first minute. Vicki and John were always available to us and gave us valuable excursion tips. Her entire accommodation is more lovingly and thoughtfully furnished than at home; there was plenty of reading and binoculars to enjoy the view. We were also allowed to use their common living area. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely come back when we travel to Scotland.

a fantastic place to stay very quiet a nice walk along the Loch to dornie village, room very clean and everything you need. helpful hosts and breakfast was 10 out of 10. very pleasant and comfortable

If you are looking for stylish, comfortable, peaceful, scenic accommodation with all the amenities you could need near Stornoway look no further . Wendy was very pro-active in communication and friendly when we met . The full Scottish breakfast was to-die-for. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for a couple.
