Apartment holiday rentals in Lewes

This beautiful apartment is just a few meters from the sea. There are some restaurants & supermarkets around the apartment. The apartment was found as described. It will be difficult to find something that did not fit. One thing that should be mentioned is the brightness in the apartment. The windows in the bedroom face east. Although there are interior blinds on the windows, a lot of sunlight still enters the apartment. Light-sensitive people should have a sleep mask with them. But we don't deduct any points for this, we were completely satisfied and would definitely come back. Simon was also available at all times and responded to messages very quickly. Thank you for everything, Simon.

We stayed at Rachel's place while visiting friends who live in Brighton. The property was perfectly situated as it was close to our friends, as well as some delightful public parks and just a short (albeit steep!) walk from the city centre. The property itself was clean and nicely laid-out, with lots of excellent space-saving touches; there was a good stock of long-life food basics in the cupboards and the fridge was spacious and easy-to-use. The bed was really comfortable and sizeable, and the bathroom was clean and simple. Checking out was straightforward and hassle-free. All in all a tremendous trip and hugely supported by Rachel's excellent property!

Jo’s place was exactly as described; tidy, homely and in a great location. Unfortunately, there were roadworks outside but that was the only downside (and nothing Jo could have done about it)! A cosy top floor flat with gorgeous views of the sea, in a really central location and Jo herself was very helpful and clear with her instructions. Overall, this place was 10/10, would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Brighton.

The apartment is stylish, comfortable and very clean. We loved the view and the space was great, high ceilings and period features. Having been to St Leonards before we knew that our favourite restaurants were walkable too. Moyra was a great host and very helpful and considerate about check in time, much appreciated.

Great place for a Brighton escape. Gorgeous location. Flat worked really well for our weekend. View is beautiful.

The place was awesome and we hugely appreciate Bill’s generosity. He prepared milk, butter, bread and other cooking essentials. The accommodation made us feel right at home and the distance to the beach was just a stone’s throw away. All amenities were provided in an abundance. Would highly recommend anyone who would like to stay here.

Very comfortable and well equipt. A bit small but more than adequate. Off road parking a big bonus. We came to see Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters and wasnt disappointed, but thought Eastbourne a bit rundown, but went to some of the surrounding towns, such as Pevensey and Lewes, which were outstanding, so Eastbourne is a good choice. Thanks very much Roma for being such an outstanding host.

The garden is beautiful and very tranquil and the accommodation is very walkable from the South Downs Way - it would make a great stop off point. The accommodation was just as described with a very comfortable bed! Only one thing to note - it is in the basement of a large house and footsteps from above are audible. Only one person lives upstairs so any problems might depend on how sensitive you are to noise. Apart from this, it's a very quiet, peaceful location.

Charlotte was a fantastic host. The bottle of bubbly on arrival was a lovely touch too. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay in Charlotte's interesting and well loved home. The hot tub and roll top bath provided a great way to relax after visiting the beach and town. As artists the artwork on display made for great conversation points too. We feel inspired. Xx

Staying at this beautiful Grade II listed Manor House was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our lovely host — Jo’s hospitality and warmth made our visit feel like staying with family. The Manor House itself is absolutely stunning — full of character, history, and timeless charm. Each room tells a story, and the period features have been lovingly preserved. Yet, despite the historic setting, all the comforts we needed were provided. The bed was cozy, the surroundings peaceful, and the gardens were a delight to stroll through. What made this stay truly special was our host. Her stories about the house’s history, the village, and her life were fascinating and added such depth to the whole experience. She was incredibly thoughtful, always checking to ensure we had everything we needed — without ever being intrusive. If you're looking for a truly authentic and heartwarming stay in the English countryside, this is it.

Ciera was fantastic! Very helpful, responsive and kind. The space was cozy and comfortable, very lovely. The heaters made the place very toasty which was just what we needed after a day out! The area was fab, and the location of the flat was very close to all the things we wanted to do. I’d highly reccomend this place!

Great home away from home, if you’re in Brighton and want to be close to the water. The loft was cheery and well-appointed for anything I needed. Everything I wanted to do in Brighton was just a short walk away, and it was convenient to be so close that I could pop back midday for a few minutes. Great communication by the host as well - I don’t think I ever waited more than a couple minutes for a friendly reply. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend doing the same to other visitors!

Great apartment with everything you could need. Easy access into town either walking or by bus stop just outside. Would recommended it as a place to stay and explore Brighton and the beautiful surrounding countryside too if that's your thing.

Me and boyfriend went for trip to Eastbourne for my birthday celebration. Very glad that we chose to stay in Isabella’s accommodation. Apartment was clean and felt like at home. Location is good, 15 min to rail station and 25 min to the sea side. Hot tub was a nice bonus to all of it.
