Dylan is a wonderful host! He helped me carry my monster suitcase in and up the stairs and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. He is super responsive and was very flexible with my many schedule changes. I stayed for 3 weeks for ministry school and found it easy to live here as a home away from home. I love unique Airbnbs and this is definitely that. Old mixed with eclectic decor. And big bonus, my bed was super comfy!

Christopher’s place was the perfect retreat for an overnight in Harrisburg! I honestly didn’t know what to expect having booked an apartment downtown on Memorial Day weekend, but since the reviews were good and I was only staying one night, I decided to take my chances… and I’m glad I did; you’d never guess that such a peaceful spot was just blocks away from the capitol and the hustle and bustle of the city! I was extremely pleased with the location, both its walkability to attractions (I especially enjoyed an authentic Mexican breakfast at Tres Hermanos!) and its proximity to the peaceful river walk! My one and only complaint is that the shower only ran cold water (it was communicated that we could expect it to get cold after 15 minutes, but it never got warm), but it was for me a very minor issue in the context of my overall stay. The water temp might be an issue in colder weather or for longer stays, but for a short-term rental, this location can’t be beat!

I stayed for 3 nights traveling for work. Everything was exactly as expected. The bed was so comfy! The room itself was a little chilly but the bathroom was very warm and the water super hot. Overall everything was very quiet. Obviously it’s out of the hosts control, but the ceiling is very creaky and loud when people are up and moving upstairs. Plenty of street parking. I would stay again.

Great little private room. Clean and having private half bath added to the value. It is listed as a hostel for a reason so if you are looking for absolute silence then get a more expensive place. However, the noise was nothing major and only impacted me a few times in the month I stayed there.
