What can I say about Crow’s Hermitage that the other reviews haven’t already captured? If you’re considering other options—stop looking. You’ve found the perfect place. As many others have noted, the photos can’t possibly convey the enchantment that settles over you the moment you arrive. From the character of the home to the serene outdoor spaces to the thousand-year-old parish next door, it feels like stepping into the pages of a fairytale. When it comes to hosts, Colm is in a league of his own. He went above and beyond with directions, thoughtful recommendations, and any request we made. By the end of our stay, we didn’t just feel cared for—we felt like family.

Christophers place was perfect in every way. My family stayed here the night before my sister's wedding in Lisnavagh and it was ideal. Plenty of space and amenities and Christopher was a great host. Highly recommend

Very comfortable and cosy and right on the water. Highly recommend. It was a bit chilly but there is good heating although for one day it wasn’t on, but to be fair it was unusually cold weather for early Summer.

What an absolutely beautiful stay! The house is beautiful and on so much stunning land. John personally came down and gave us a little map with all the paths we could walk on the land which was so helpful. It was a good HQ point as we went on a lot of day trips and I could not recommend this cottage more! Can’t wait to come back!

We traveled around Ireland and stayed at 4 other locations. By far, this cottage and the host and the accommodations and everything about this place was our favorite! Noeleen went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable!

We could not say enough nice things about the Beach Strand House! It was spotlessly clean, so bright and light, comfortable, and Sean went out of his way to help us when we had car trouble and was extremely kind and welcoming. Everything you could need was supplied. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed, the short trail to the beach right out of the garden was a bit of heaven. The neighborhood was peaceful, the house is even more lovely than the pictures.

I was blown away by the Dream Barn... wasn't sure quite what to expect beforehand, but my GOODNESS! Jim has thought of absolutely everything. The cottage is very maximalist, but in a fun, eclectic way. Old typewriters, sewing machine, *2* record players to choose from and a kitchen with everything you might think you need and then some... and the place is VERY clean! Neighboring cows came over and checked us out through our window, and we fed the chickens that share the patio. Several kitties stopped by to check us out. I would go out of my way to stay here again. Jim is ridiculously undercharging for such an incredible treat of a place. You'll contemplate moving to Moynalty after your stay, just so you could have Jim as a neighbor and friend.

We had a lovely time at Caroline's place, it had everything we needed.. very cozy.. comfortable bed and a very peaceful nights sleep.. thanks Caroline!

We had a fabulous few days staying at The Stables. Breda and Joe have a lovely country property. We love the goodie left for us from Breda. Scones and bread both home made. The cottage is so well equipped with most things you’d need to get by but a Centra only a few minutes away has lots of options. The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows and the fluffiest feather doona. The cottage is heated but we felt we didn’t need heating on as it’s very warm inside anyway but great if it turns cold. A bonus is the washer and dryer, we’d not been able to wash for several day so felt like all home comforts were covered. We loved the kitchen and dining area, great for preparing our meals. Breda has a vegetable and herb garden which she was happy for us to use, I made good use of salad stuff and herb. We got to meet Joe who was brings the horses back into the sheds, we got to see an 8 day old foal, such a highlight for me coming from Australia’s beach scene. We highly this place Fiona

It was such a pleasure to stay at Vivienne's place! She is super friendly, and we really enjoyed chatting with her when we checked in. We immediately felt right at home! She gave us tips for restaurants to go to, which was much appreciated. Check-in time was flexible and arranged through Vivienne's clear communication. She sent us a photo of the driveway entrance, which was very helpful. We loved the private back garden and the coffee machine in the adorable kitchen. It was the perfect place for us to stay on the last night of our trip before we flew out of Dublin airport the next morning. Thanks, Vivienne!

Family with kids stayed at Bridget’s for a week. When we arrived, Bridget greeted us out front with home-baked biscuits and bread and a fresh bowl of fruit. The home had a back patio which made it convenient for our kids to play outside. It was clutter free and easy to maintain cleanliness (especially with kids). It also had space in front of the unit to play and walk around in grass and with flowers. Bridget was kind and responsive throughout the trip. She provided us with a pack n play and high chair. She also had eating utensils for little kids available. The home was easy to feel comfortable in and we would certainly book again. Only heads up (that has nothing to do with the actual booking) is being prepared for winding roads leading to the Airbnb. Don’t ride in the back of the car if you have motion sickness.

Thanks Brigitte for a fantastic stay in your granny flat. It was perfect! I really enjoyed my time there. It was extremely comfortable, warm & well equipped for my week there. I felt very safe and right at home. Thanks too for the food & drinks you left on my arrival. What an unexpected surprise. It meant I could relax as soon as I walked in, without having to rush out to buy supplies. Very thoughtful of you. I would highly recommend Brigitte's place and plan to return one day. We opted to stay out of the bustle of Dublin for the peaceful vistas of Fethard and Selina ‘s AirBnB. So glad we did. Parking by the door. Phew! Well appointed kitchen/dining looking out onto lawn and flowered garden. Ample bedroom and closet space. Hot shower. An attentive host who, although called away for family health reasons, wrote a personalised card with important info for our arrival. She joined us later. A modern, comfortable AirBnB hosted by really nice people. This is a good one.

Warm, clean, cosy, great location. Ideal for us and our dogs, had everything we needed and more, Anna had left us some nice treats.

We both had a wonderful stay in Blessington as was a perfect location for us to travel to see family in Wicklow & west of lreland. Accommodation was exactly what we needed. Cathy & Riaan were perfect hosts & were on hand to meet our needs with a great welcome breakfast & fresh eggs to tie us over before our trip to supervalue shops to stock up for local amenities in Blessington main street-nearby. recommend ‘West Wicklow house’ pub for food & good atmosphere. Will definitely hope to return

Fantastic host, lovely stay. Clean, quaint, nice location with a wonderful cafe on the same block. Easy walk to city center, easy transportation, safe, would HIGHLY recommend staying here again and would so so myself if back in Dublin.

Deborah was amazing! Upon arrival we were met with her lovely golden retrievers. Her cottage and farm were cozy and had plenty to offer as an early night in. We got to feed her horse, ponies, and pigs and were even allowed to hunt fresh eggs in the mornings. Deborah and her family are lovely hosts and we will definitely be back at some point. Highly recommend Deborah and her animals. We felt like we were Snow White being surrounded by the nature and animals!

Loretta’s guesthouse is very high level quality for Airbnb. I have stayed in many Airbnbs but none were anywhere near as good as this one. It is absolutely beautiful and the photos don’t do it enough justice. It is extremely clean, practical and beautiful. Loretto is an extremely welcoming host. What a pleasure to have met her. I can understand the previous reviews where someone said she didn’t want to leave. The bed is very comfy and made up with exquisite linen. The sitting/sun room looks out onto the well kept garden. A pure slice of heaven. We HIGHLY recommend it. 🌸🌼
