Such a lovely spot. Had a lovely restful getaway. Location was relaxing. Accommodation was gorgeous. Hot tub and BBQ were lovely in the evening. The attention to detail is just unreal

Amazing accomodation, lovely house with two sitting areas (perfect if you come with kids), all was exactly as described. Prime location, town and the beach are within walking distance, plenty to do in the sourrounding nature.

The place was fabulous, views from the veranda were breathtaking. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would recommend this to any visitors and you would not be disappointed. We will be back. Thank you.

If you are looking for a nice place at the beach with an old country cottage vibe you well enjoy this place. The beach there is beautiful.

We had a lovely stay at Alex and Danny’s place with such a friendly welcome from the hosts. The location is beautiful, such a treat to wake up to and the cottage has everything you could need. Strangford isn’t far away and has some nice spots to eat and drink. Would definitely return. Thank you x

A wonderfully relaxing stay by the seaside. Everything was exactly as described in the photos and description, and it is perfectly sized and appointed for a couple’s getaway. Cassie (Linda’s dog) is extremely sweet and friendly as a bonus! There’s plenty to do and see nearby in the way of local history and outdoor activities, and Linda is an excellent host who’s often around to help (though privacy is not at all an issue, there’s plenty of distance between her house and the bothy.) One thing to be aware of is that the bothy can get warm unless both doors are open for a crossbreeze. Overall, a wonderful stay in idyllic surroundings.

My family have just returned from a fantastic long weekend at this absolutely stunning property. Spacious & beautifully decorated interior with very well equipped kitchen - high quality appliances and Quooker tap. Perfect for our group of 8 adults & 2 young kids. First floor bedroom, lounge and balcony exceptional with views over the lough. Having beach access at the bottom of the garden was really quite special - the kids loved paddling and collecting shells & pebbles. Brilliant for a relaxing stay or perfect base to explore the Mournes or surrounding area by car. Highly recommend. We definitely hope to return 🥰

We had the best time at Michelle's place! The outdoor space was incredible & the views were unreal. The little cottage was everything you would want from a traditional Irish cottage & all the little extra touches really made it feel like home. Thank you!

This is a tidy and comfortable beach cottage. We especially appreciated the parking since we had a rental car. It’s an easy walk to town for pubs, sightseeing and a grocery store. It’s a nice little place that’s right on the sea. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, modern house on a quiet country road that leads to a beach cove. It is a five minute drive from Ardmore village. The house was comfortable and warm with stunning views. We never turned on the television, preferring to watch the horizon instead! The kitchen is really well laid out and has everything. We had a lovely trip; local activities we enjoyed included a pottery class in Ardmore Pottery and Solas na Mara seaweed baths in Ring.

What a house- what a location - everything was more than we could have hoped for! The house is absolutely perfect for a family gathering - so much space and views over the river! We cooked in every night and made the most of the space. We were also very lucky with the weather but I can imagine how cosy it is with the fire on during a storm! We had 2 kids with us so perfect to go across the road to a playground and right beside the beach too! I can't recommend this house enough - we had the best few days and will absolutely be returning. We had a wonderful stay at Robert’s place. Perfect for our family of 6 adults looking for a peaceful escape from the cities. Enjoyed the walking trails in the back and the house is absolutely beautiful with a great view. Easy to get to surrounding areas for day trips. Robert was extremely welcoming and responsive. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Ireland!

A 3 generational family gathering was made even more special by the generous amenities and thoughtful details of this house, everything was there we could need. An amazing welcome package, a great book of information and recommendations, truly could have asked for more!

Faultless. The house was stunning, the price was amazing for what you get, everything is of the highest quality (the wifi speeds are unreal too). The communication from Danielle leading up to check in and beyond was ideal and made it so easy. Having a supermarket less than 10 minutes walk from the house is a massive bonus and the selection there on offer if you want to stay in and cook is excellent. 15 minutes to Dublin city centre in a taxi (we tried the bus - but they dont take contactless payment yet). Easily the nicest place I have ever stayed in, and everything was catered for on our trip. Everyone in our party said the same thing, from when we arrived to when we left, everything was perfect...even the weather! 5 stars arent enough.

This was the second time I have booked 44, High Street and love the location. Everything is accessible with easy walk to Caer Fai beach from the back of the house and minutes from the pubs, restaurants and cafes. The house is really well furnished and feels very homely…… will be back if any availability!
