"Stable Cottage"

StefanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Helen's place is an ideal countryside getaway. The cottage has everything a family of 4 can desire for. Downstairs fireplace with logs and coal provided were an added bonus. The fridge came stocked with all the necessities for making breakfast. Tea and coffee and fresh milk and juice were also provided. Would necessary consider staying again, and would bring family or friends along next time.

Experience a friendly stay Galway Countryside

RebeccaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I wish we could have stayed another night! Beautiful location and a clean, comfortable place to stay. Martina was responsive via text and we got to meet John in person - he was lovely energy. The breakfast box was AMAZING and the cherry on top of a welcoming Irish experience I was looking for. We even got to feed the herd with John before leaving! 10/10 would highly recommend this peaceful stay to anyone.

Ardcarne Lodge, Lough Key

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My family loved our stay at Ardcarne Lodge. Brian and his parents were helpful and welcoming, with lots of local recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, and the lodge itself was utterly charming. We also appreciated the fresh flowers, and the grocery essentials in the fridge. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland!

Eco-renovated stone barn

A beautiful stay at Nathan's barn in a private and secluded environment. Nathan was a wonderful host who was always happy for a chat - it was great to learn about his property and the history of the building. Would recommend Nathan's place for anyone seeking a quiet and relaxed stay close to some of the main sights around Galway.

The Stables Kiltanon House Tulla Clare V95 A3W6

DebbieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Joan and Paul’s stable accommodation is very private and provided an authentic rural experience - especially the setting in a beautiful fenced garden and a couple of horses in the paddock next door. It was great having a fire (with the fire starters and wood supplied). We very much appreciated having a washing machine (and clothes rack for drying) plus a full oven and gas hob. There are also plenty of power points. The fresh eggs on arrival were also a nice touch - plus the vase of fresh roses. It was also very good to be able to park right outside our accommodation. The bed is very comfortable and the high quality linen is a real treat - particularly the Sanderson pillowcases on the feather pillows 😀

Beautiful setting, and very peaceful. The kitchen was amazing, and the Wood burning stove was so cosy in the evening. A great hideaway with friends. The roads are very narrow on the way to it, so be cautious

The Barn.

A wonderful and comfortable bolt hole where we wanted peace and quiet before a busy day in Galway for our daughter’s graduation. Comfortable beds, warm and very cosy with everything you need for a self catering stay. Our daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom. Zita sent us a postcode which led us directly there as it we arrived quite late. Highly recommend!

Ty Draw - set in 20 acres with wonderful walks

DaveRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We just returned from the most magical week at this rural Welsh holiday cottage, and we honestly can’t recommend it highly enough—especially if you’re bringing your four-legged friend! From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the peace, charm, and warmth of the place. Nestled in rolling green hills with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside, the cottage feels like a secret hideaway far from the noise of everyday life. Inside, the cottage was spotless and beautifully decorated—cosy, rustic, but with every modern comfort thoughtfully provided. The log-burning stove was a particular favourite after breezy walks, and the homemade fruit cake and Welsh butter on arrival was such a thoughtful touch. Our dog had the time of her life exploring the secure garden and nearby footpaths leading to stunning coastal walks. She was more than happy snoozing in the open doorway or making friends with the animals rescue residents, especially Rosie and Elvis. Five stars all around.

Bramble Cottage, hidden gem in Comber near Belfast

JamesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just back from a weeks stay at Brambles cottage. What can we say apart from it was fantastic. So very peaceful, beautiful scenery and LOADS of great places to walk from the door step. We brought our dog Boycee and he throughly enjoyed himself also. The garden was 100% secure so we could just relax and let Boycee run around and play freely. We would most definitely love to go back if welcomed. Thank you to Karen and Alistar. Nothing was a problem

"The Barn" Copper Beech Farm

JesseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Barn was such an amazing place to stay on our Irish road trip. it was extremely peaceful, quiet, and serene. The inside is very spacious and the view from the balcony was breathtaking to us. We spent a lot of time drinking and talking on the balcony. I would definitely recommend the barn to anyone that wants to stay out of the city for a while. It is still very close to Cork or Kinsale that you can get food or groceries easily but in the county enough to feel like you are somewhat alone. we loved it and hopefully we stay in many more places like it.

CateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
For anyone who intends visiting neolithic archaeological sites such as Knowth and Newgrange, is interested in battle sights or the poetry of Francis Ledwidge, a stay near Slane is perfect. The beautifully reconstructed stable block has been appointed to a very high standard It is cosy accommodation with a touch of luxury The Stables was a delightful surprise for us being perfect for our needs The single bedroom property features a downstairs living/dining/kitchen with powder-room and upstairs a comfortable double bedroom and shower-room The hosts Jane Philip and Sarah could not have been more helpful The place was full of special touches including breakfast provisions and toiletries. Nothing was too much trouble and we were so grateful for all their kindness Slane Village nearby is most attractive too The Stables is a great stay for a couple or two friends/ family travelling together.

Classically renovated 18th century barn

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Eily & Paul’s was simply magical. A beautiful part of the world to visit ans glad to say we had a property to match. Quiet, serene location. Bundles of character and charm. All amenities as described. A fantastic location to stay with a young family - I have 3 children under the age of 10 and we were all very comfortable and very happy here. All instructions were simple and clear, the postcode takes you right to the door. The house was immaculate, well equipped, comfortable and charming. Its rural location is quiet and private, but you are within a stones throw of some amazing sights and attractions, steeped in local history. Local bars and restaurants are very good and local people are exceptionally friendly. A car is a must.. but I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Our next trip is in the planning! Thanks Eily and Paul!

Flowerhill Cottage

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at Kenny and Isabell’s cottage was nothing short of extraordinary! The four of us, visiting from Alberta, Canada, were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality—it truly felt like a home away from home. Kenny and Isabell were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and eager to share helpful insights about the area. Their thoughtfulness made our experience even more enjoyable. The cottage itself exceeded all expectations—it was even more stunning than the pictures, with charming details that made our stay comfortable and memorable. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every aspect of the space was beautifully maintained. If you’re considering booking this cottage, don’t hesitate—it’s an absolute gem with fantastic hosts!
