Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Leidschendam-Voorburg

We had a great holiday in Wassenaar. The area is great for cycling, walking, shopping, culture, spending days at the beach and eating out. There are so many things to do all within easy cycling range of the house that you will need more than a single holiday before running out of activities. Our car stayed put the entire holiday - we were thrilled by the co-operative style between motorists and cyclists as compared to the defensive/aggressive style here in Berlin. Let alone the general cycling infrastructure (paths, crossings, traffic lights, ...). The many beaches are easily reachable by bike and offer a great variety from lively with promenades to secluded and lonely. We loved the waves and the wind and cycling along the dunes. The house is very clean, spacious and luxurious in a secluded quiet neighbourhood with a large and beautiful garden. There is ample space for cooking, dining and sitting together. We had a great time and enjoyed it very much.

Had a wonderful stay here for a week! By far one of the most beautifully decorated Airbnb’s I’ve stayed and extremely spacious and affordable for our group of 6. The mix of bedrooms would also be perfect for a large family or group of friends visiting. We loved hanging out in the living room with lots of natural light and the really cute backyard as well! The house was just a 2 minute walk to the tram station making it super easy to get to nearby cities like Delft and Den Hague. We enjoyed going museum hopping, to the beach, and day tripping to Amsterdam from here. Jeroen was a lovely and responsive host, letting us have a flexible check-in, meeting us for check-in/out and even giving us some snacks and goodies when we got there. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend :)!

Lovely accommodation - felt like home away from home. Patrick was away but extremely responsive to any questions we had. A lovely house & home with a great garden. Walkable to The Hague & a 10 minute walk to the train station from where we visited many other parts of the Netherlands, such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leiden, Delft & Gouda + easy access to the motorway for driving further.

A beautiful house in a very nice area. The local town is great, with nice parks, shops, bars and restaurants. Transport into the city /beach is super easy too. Japie, the resident cat is a bonus!

Wonderful location. A beautiful and spacious property with amazing energy. I would definitely recommend those wanting to stay in peaceful luxury surrounded by nature not to hesitate and book before it’s too late!

The stay at Boudi was really indescribably beautiful! We were greeted personally, it was like coming home again. The house is so beautifully lovingly and personally furnished that you don't want to leave. The beds were also particularly noteworthy, they were great! The location is quiet, a beautiful garden and a great neighborhood. Katwijk can be reached by car in 20 minutes. Boudi is a very warm host. Would love to come back anytime! Highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay in this lovingly furnished cottage – it was even more beautiful than in the pictures! The decor is tasteful, cozy and designed with great attention to detail. Beautiful decorations and fresh flowers everywhere – you immediately feel welcome. For our children, it was a paradise: great toys, a dress-up box, craft materials - they were busy and overjoyed for hours. The location is also great: only about 10 minutes on foot to the beach. The hostess Anne was very friendly, the reception by Ruub warm and likeable – we felt comfortable from the first moment. We would come back anytime and can fully recommend the place!

We really enjoyed our week at Alberto's place. The Airbnb is superbly furnished, has a perfect location and is very friendly. The only mini point was that it was sometimes a bit cold. We would come back anytime!

Janneke was a very warm hostess. We felt very comfortable during the stay. She was also very quick to reach for questions and she gave good tips for our stay. The check-in was very easy, as Janneke was very flexible in terms of check-in times.

Excellent apartment with all what you need for a good holiday in Den Haag. My flight was delayed, but there was no problem with late check-in. Great and quiet location with plenty of bars/restaurants nearby.

Great place to stay in Leiden! Very responsive hosts who were quick to answer questions. The location. Was excellent…walkable and pretty spot by a canal. We rented bikes for the few days we were there and one day did a long ride through the tulips in Lisse. The home was clean and spacious and the kids loved having easy access to Netflix and lounging on the big couch after our long days exploring. Highly recommend.

It was a great spacious place, directly feels like home. The area is very nice, quite and warm. Tram to Centrum is just 2mins walking, supermarket Albert Heijn is just 1 min walking, and many more shops and Cafe around. The apartment was clean and as described. Mathilde is very friendly and helpful as well, giving clear instructions and suggestions to go. Amazing experience, thank you 😊

Our stay with Hans was exactly as we imagined it. The apartment is great, tidy and big enough. The area is very nice, quiet and in the middle of the old town and beach. Ideal location. We will be happy to come back

We felt comfortable. We liked the private garden and the open tastefully furnished living area. Of course, the cat Poppy was the highlight for our kids. Poppy is a friendly and easy-care cat. As described, the connection to the beach is really great and quickly accessible. There are also many ways to do things and excursions. There was always a friendly and quick exchange with hosts. It was very nice.

hermiëtte is realy a nice host, she's so helpfull. she have a really nice house too, it was so clean and neat. and it has all the facility u can have in as a family house. it is close to the park, and the park have a nice playground. its not too far from the station, its around 15min with bicycle, she even lend us their bicycles. it have a heater, so we don't freeze at winter weather, she also put so many winter coat, shawl, gloves, beanies, and warm blanket that we can use. it also have many toys n activity for children. my kids definitely love the big trampoline outside. such a lovely place to stay with family n kids. we love it. thank you Hermiëtte and Al, we really have a nice stay at this house. definitely will stay here again if we go to denhaag.

It was such a pleasure and privilege to stay at this home. The house is worthy of museum status — a gem of art nouveau glass and tiles. But it also features a fantastic modern kitchen, great WiFi, and comfortable beds. In other words, the best of both historic and modern. The location is perfect, with steps-away access to transit, groceries, dining, and more. Adjacent to a canal, the site is also a natural haven, filled with nighttime sounds and daytime bird life. We were treated to a goose family with multiple goslings for part of our stay! Washer/dryer are great, as was the tv and other appliances. And finally, the decor is stylish and interesting….perfectly themed for those interested in travel. Having stayed at nearly 100 Airbnbs, this was one of our all-time favorites.

Very nice cottage in the quiet bungalow park. Close to the beach, good starting point to discover South Holland.

Nice family house. we stayed with two families and had plenty of space. beach, restaurants and activities are nearby. due to good weather we were having breakfast in the garden every morning. the garden is easily accessible via the wide kitchen doors.

The house is located in the Vakantie park Roompot in Kijkduin Den Haag. It was easy to reach and you could use all the amenities of the park. The beautiful beach can be reached within 5min. The house was nice, a little bit aged - but that doesn't matter since we were outside all the time anyways. Guus was a wonderful and helpful host.
