Hidden away behind electric gates on a private estate, the Birds Nest is high up with uninterrupted views of the countryside. Perfect for outdoor pursuits, relaxation, work or romance. There is plenty to do; country walks, golf, fishing, holistic therapies, shopping and 4 stately homes within 10 miles. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate babies or children due to potential falls from height.

Mahonia Lodge was brand new in 2022. A total of 96 sq metres with 46 sq metres of open plan living this lodge provides plenty of space for up to 4 Adults and 4 children. A large wrap round deck allows guests to enjoy sunshine from dawn to dusk while enjoying the wildlife on the ornamental lake. Set on the fabulous cycle route around the water and with access to great walks directly from the house or a short drive away it’s a perfect location for exploring Rutland. Our village pub is a 3 minute stroll, serves food 7 days a week and offers our guests a 10% discount on their meals.
