Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Leeds and the Thousand Islands

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

In the ten plus years that my husband and I have been using AirBnB we can both honestly say that Sami’s home ranks in the top for us in terms of (1) value (2) communication and (3) accommodations. The property is simply super nicely setup with multiple modern considerations. The house is very cozy and welcoming which made us feel right at home. However, the best part was the communication. Sami was up front and forward with communication. They were simple, and he provided us lists and resources for restaurants and things to do locally. Even more, he was super accommodating in terms of flexibility—by far the most helpful we have EVER seen. We give Sami the absolute highest rating that we possibly can. 11/10!

Wow !!!! This is a piece of history . Beautiful large and very high ceilings, well lighten place. From the entrance to the top floor so elegant, so beautifully furnished, a little paradise . The GARDEN is fabulous. The kitchen is so stocked up that I thought the only thing was missing was a cooked dinner 🤣 Truly you feel at home The minute you walk in . The beds are super comfy. I could go on and on and can’t tell you all . You must see it to believe it . The host is super responsive. The location is superb. In a quiet place yet steps away from restaurants, waterfront and all activities. Glad we had chosen this place as it made our stay super special . Thank you

I have stayed at quite a few Airbnb's over the past years, but Mary's place would be at the top of my list. Swan's Nest is the most well-equipped, cleanest, and organized Airbnb I have ever encountered. My three sisters and I spent a week in the Thousand Islands, enjoying the beautiful area and spending time together. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable and having three bathrooms worked out wonderfully for us. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more! Every night we enjoyed playing cards in the bar room downstairs. We also enjoyed late afternoon chats and reading in the downstairs sun room, which included a wonderful fireplace. Swan's Nest is located perfectly for visits to Clayton, Alexandria Bay, Gananoque, boat tours, and the many parks with hiking trails. We loved everything! I highly recommend Swan's Nest. It was an amazing Airbnb and located in a perfect area to explore!

Everything was AMAZING!! The host was super responsive and very friendly which made everything so much easier. The cottage itself was SUPERB. It was both aesthetically pleasing to the eye but just as comfortable as your own home. Will DEFINITELY visit again!!!

This place is perfect! Beautiful sunset in the evening! It’s adorable and warm . I could have have stayed longer. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. I would definitely come back again . Close to all attractions in the Alexandria Bay. Love it!

My experience staying at Wade and Shawn’s place was fantastic from check in to check out! Wade and Shawn are very kind and responsive. Very clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing suite, parking was great and the area is quiet. Felt very comfortable/safe staying here and would definitely do so again if needed!

We had such a great stay!! the flat is so cozy, you feel like you’re at a cottage in the country - but downtown is a quick and lovely walk away. Would definitely stay here again. Jan also graciously let us check out later than originally planned when we had a last minute schedule change. Thanks Jan!

Place was very clean, close by to a lot of things and restaurants. Walkable to get places. Definitely would recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our short stay in the rather large apartment in Picton. The location could not be better. The view out the kitchen window was lovely with the fall color and the little hint of the harbor that was visible. We enjoyed watching tv in the evenings in front of the fireplace. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely three night stay at this adorable apartment. Perfect spot to walk around, things to do, great parking situation. The interior was just as lovely with a big bed. Will absolutely be returning!

Sean is a wonderful host. His million dollar home is incredibly well stocked with all the amenities. I think we’re the first Snowy, Winter review …. and we definitely rate it 5 Stars like all the warm weather reviews. The lovely fireplace glows throughout the massive living room, and our Christmas Dinner at the huge dining table was epic! The house has a magnificent heating system; even single digit outdoor temperatures were no problem for it. Sean deserves his Super Host status …. He didn’t mind me texting & calling him for restaurants and various instructions … a truly nice fellow. The house is a bit hidden away but its views and grandeur are unmatched. We definitely want to return in the summer to take advantage of its magnificent waterfront location. Thank you Sean for trusting us with your mansion!

We had a wonderful time at Caroline's AirBnB! The grounds were beautiful and the home was stunning. Caroline was very responsive and easy to communicate with (the staff gave us a tour of the property, set up a fire and gave us town recommendations). I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return!

We really loved our visit and wished we were able to stay longer. The space is just as you see it in the listing. It was spotless and very comfortable. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking. Dave was wonderful, answering all our questions, recommending restaurants and helping when we couldn't figure out the tv. An exceptional historic mansion which has been restored with great attention to detail. This home and the people who cared for us made our 25th anniversary so memorable. Incredible breakfasts and work behind the scenes by Karen in particular to help with reservations and other details made our stay an absolute highlight of our time in PEC. Five stars by every measure.

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!

We were so grateful to have an affordable place for our large family to gather comfortably in the winter. The large private property was a real asset as we had lots of kids in our group who like to play outside and this let the adults have some peaceful moments together. The kitchen’s had everything we needed. The houses were clean and uncluttered, yet cozy. All the furniture was useful and practical. Robin was responsive and helpful. We will definitely be returning one day.

Great place with great view!

Kim's home was the perfect winter getaway. Very spacious and warm, and close to the lake and great trails for hiking and snowshoeing. Only tip is if you plan on doing any cooking, there's no oil, salt, pepper, etc so come prepared!
