Not far at all from popular Terry Peak and all the snow activities that go with it! skiing and snowmobiling in the winter and hiking, biking and all the other fun Black Hills things to see and do. All wheel drive is recommended in the winter. Off grid yurt in the pines, with great view of mystic miner and Terry peak above, on mile 100 of beautiful Mickelson trail. Get away to nature (with style and a unique stay)....goulay. not for non-outdoorsy as there is only a half bathroom outhouse, no running water (you get to port it in, great spring pump at nearby Englewood trail-head on Mickelson and running stream for a dip at bottom of hill), no electricity, and a great little wood stove. BEFORE RENTING read other things to note.

Beautiful home in a residential neighborhood on the West Side of Rapid City. Perfect for families and gatherings. You will have access to a two car garage, above ground pool, trampoline, large outdoor deck, fire pit, and a grill that’s available when the weather permits. The house is almost 80 years old and there are some features that are still from the 50s and we like those. We don't plan on changing them so if you're looking for a totally updated house this house might not be for you.

This is the original carriage house from 1892 that has been converted into living quarters with a small fenced in outdoor space. The cozy cottage is made up of two levels. On the floor level, is a small kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area with gas fire place (love seat pulls out to a single bed). On the second level, via a narrow steep hayloft staircase, is a king bed, tv, and private balcony. This quaint space is the perfect get away.
