Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lavapiés, Centro

To clarify some questions that I had myself before arriving to the apartment: * I have been living in this flat for 3 months and I haven’t seen a cockroach. Just in case, Jonathan took the complaints serious and set up some traps in the flat. * Yes, there is no service inside of the apartment, but the wifi works perfectly! * There is not that much natural light, but that somehow also makes the flat very cozy (as the description says) * It is located very centrally, even though it might not look like that on Maps. Since the apartment is in the ground floor, the air is a bit humid inside. Opening the windows a lot helps, and there were also some dehumidifiers set up, which made it better too. As for Jonathan as a host, he does his “job” perfectly! He was always available and answered within a couple of minutes. Whenever I had a problem, he stopped by and helped me as soon as he could. All in all, I think there is no better place to stay in Madrid, especially for that price!

Appartement au calme, nous avons pu nous bien nous reposer après avoir visiter les endroits incontournables de la capitale. A recommander. Hôte réactif, a répondu rapidement à nos messages.

Came to Madrid for work and stayed at Oscar’s apartment. Location is super safe, walkable any time of the day. The space is very comfortable, clean, and the communication was great throughout my stay. Highly recommend and I would be back.

Staying at Gustavo's house is paradise. He has thought of every little detail in this spacious and unique home he designed himself. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, all residential, but at the same time you are either only 2 minutes away from a taxi, or only 5 mins away from the bus, to get anywhere you want to go. Taxi ride from the house to the main attractions is 10 mins or less. It's the perfect blend of tranquility and city life, so easy to get anywhere, and a 10 minute walk gets you to Retiro Park and it's beautiful peacocks! Gustavo is so accommodating and thoughtful, he learned of some complications I had and made some very considerate gestures that most hosts would not even think of. The home is spacious and surrounded by beautiful gardens, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. 3 full beds and 3 full baths, every amenity you can think of. We fell in love with Madrid and this house, and will definitely return.

Una maravilla de alojamiento. A estrenar, con todos los detalles que puedas necesitar para tu estancia. En pleno Malasaña y sin embargo es un oasis de tranquilidad. Rodeado de Supermercados, bares, cafés, restaurantes.. al lado de la gran vía. Proceso de check in super fácil y Paola ha estado para resolver nuestras dudas siempre. Lo aconsejo 100%. Volvere!

Maria’s beautiful and historic home was the perfect base for our Madrid trip. It was bigger than expected, very nicely designed and decorated, and really well equipped with so many thoughtful details. We loved the city, but I looked forward to coming back ‘home’ to this neighbourhood every evening. Maria was really kind, friendly and helpful. Local market, cafes, supermarket and bakery all in easy walking distance, bus connections are easy and frequent (we hardly used the metro - much nicer to see the city as you travel around). Lovely outdoor space for relaxing. Close to the huge Casa del Campo park for green space. Thank you so much Maria for a wonderful stay.

Our stay was wonderful. We were able to see a lot of Madrid just by walking. Public transport was close by when needed. After a long day sight seeing we came back to a comfortable place to eat relax and sleep ready to go again the next morning loved it

Great little apartment in a wonderful area. Lots to do nearby and walkable everywhere, but on a pedestrian street so no traffic. The unit was clean and well supplied. Highly recommend!

Great place close to the Atocha train station ☺️ There are lots of cafes and bars around to grab a bite to eat and the apartment had everything we needed. It was a bit noisy as for some reason the garbage is picked up and cans are cleaned during the night but overall we enjoyed our stay. The host was friendly and helpful and we would recommend the place. Thank you!

This apartment is a gem in the heart of Madrid. Safe, central, great walkable areas nearby. It has all needed amenities for a nice stay in Madrid! Recommended! Close to supermarkets, great food all around, museums, parks, train stations! Perfect to experience the city’s culture! Wonderful! The super (doorman) in charged of the building was super friendly and helpful. Everyone in the building was nice and super polite. No noise, nice to sleep great after enjoying the city all day! Great water pressure and endless hot water!

Mi estancia en Lavapiés fue maravillosa. Natacha me recibió con el departamento impecable y me orientó sobre todo lo que podía hacer en la ciudad. Una genia total. El monoambiente fue perfecto para mí, tiene de todo, me sentí como en casa. La ducha es espectacular y la zona también, muy bonita y bohemia. Natacha me pareció divina además. Espero volver pronto!

I had the most wonderful stay in Julia’s apartment — she made me feel right at home straight away, and was super helpful in the lead up to my trip, checking in, getting settled, and was very supportive throughout my visit. I found the neighborhood very peaceful, and well situated to explore Madrid by foot and via the metro. It was a cosy space, but suited me as a solo traveler not needing many amenities or resources. Thank you for hosting me Julia ☺️

We had a great time at this apartment. We were a party of three and the place felt very spacious and everything we needed. It was in a great location, within walking distance of plenty of Madrid’s tourist attractions, markets, restaurants, bars & cafes and only 5 minutes walk from a metro station. The apartment is on the third floor of a building on a car-free street so very quiet and the lift was a welcome feature. Gisela made checking in very easy and was very accommodating with our early arrival in Madrid. We had a fabulous time in Madrid and the apartment met our expectations and was perfect for our needs.

The appartement was really nice, the location is perfect if you don't mind the crowd. It's a really active neighborhood, coffee, restaurants, bar, shops, subway... The last two night I had to change apartment because of a flood that came from an apartment on the higher floor. They propose me a quick change and the other apartment was ok, but in a totally different neighborhood so it was not as nice. I did not know that they have like 70 apartments, but maybe it was the only one available, it changed my stay quite a bit for the last two nights. I had to get more uber drives and it cost me a little bit more being over there. They did not propose a refund or anything like that. It's the only thing I can say, maybe a better change would have been appreciated. If it wasn't for this, everything was perfect.

Even better than I expected! Has everything you need to feel right at home. Greatly appreciated the closet space for a longer trip as well.

Great apt and centrally located near Malasaña. Despite being on a big street it was very quiet at night. We had a great stay.

Roberto y Marco fueron unos anfitriones excepcionales, siempre atentos y dispuestos. El apartamento es tal como se muestra en las fotos, aunque más bonito en directo. Estaba limpio y tenía toallas y ropa de cama en abundancia. La zona es espectacular, al lado del Retiro. Muy cuidada y limpia. A pesar de ser un barrio con mucha vida en el apartamento no se escuchaba ruido por la noche. Repetiría sin dudar.

Overall, great apartment very nice to stay. The area is really nice and very close to ammenities, restaurants and central station Atocha. Marta responds really quick, eager to help in any question. My only feedback is perhaps making sure flat has enough listed supplies before a guest arrive (no oil, no coffee, no salt, few soap leaft). The other comment is not fault of the flat but just to be mindful this is in a busy area some neighbours are not very quiet at night.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Paola's ground floor apartment. Tastefully decorated and modern, with a very comfy bed.Air con and washing machine came in very handy. Easy walk to supermarkets, transport links and city highlights. Definitely recommend. Thanks for a great stay :)

We thoroughly enjoyed Helen and Martin's flat right in the center of everything in Madrid. We walked everywhere comfortably and were able to see all of the attractions by foot. Helen provided great suggestions for what to see and do with "insider" knowledge. The flat was very clean and a great spot to come back to at the end of the day. We would highly recommend this flat to anyone who wants to be in the middle of the action in this dynamic city!!!

Such a perfect apartment for a weekend in Madrid. Within walking distance of the palace and central Madrid, including restaurants and cafes nearby too. The apartment had everything I needed and was perfectly set up, exactly how it looks in the pictures. Check in was super easy and Lila sent very clear instructions ahead of arrival and departure. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay in Madrid for exploring the city.
