This place is one of the prettiest places I have ever been too! So peaceful and quiet. You feel like you have this whole place to yourself. The sunsets were stunning! I can’t wait to go back.

Third time renting and I always enjoy staying here to get away for a weekend and get some fresh air and sun. River was higher than normal and we took advantage of it. Wildlife is abundant, a pair of owls graced us with their presence each evening once the sun went behind the trees. Perfect trip.

Words can't describe this stay. Bring right on the river, kayaking, swimming, the sheep/donkey/goats and the fire pit were just what we needed to unwind and detach from city life. Incredible stay, and we will definitely be back.

The place was great! I only wish we could have stayed longer. Tammy was a great host and communicated thoroughly with us from start to finish which was definitely reassuring. Enjoyed our stay and definitely exceeded our expectations. If we’re ever in Alabama again we’re definitely coming back.

Lavonne’s place was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the horses. Biscuit the miniature pony, oh my so cute!! All the animals made us feel at home. I loved that my boys could be outside, be free and safe. We ventured into New Orleans then up to Laurel. This location is convenient to many activities.

This was a great getaway weekend for my husband and I. The house was perfect! We loved the privacy this house offered. It was a great place to unwind and disconnect for a couple of days. We would definitely recommend this house for your perfect little hideaway!

Favorite place I’ve ever stayed. The house and the view was even prettier than in the photos. It was a long drive for us from Houston, but worth every minute. Only regret was not staying even longer!! We will have to come back we loved it so much. I was a little worried that it might be cramped with the other houses but it was surprisingly secluded. And I didn’t think an A frame house could be so spacious! Carleen created such a cozy and welcoming space and went above and beyond. Loved my stay!!!!!

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse...the openness of the downstairs space was very warm and welcoming...the outdoor space was nice, specifically enjoyed the birdhouse...the patio was a great place to sit have coffee in the morning and watch the birds... I think the only two things I would change would be to maybe make the front door walkway a bit nicer...it had apparently rained hard before we got there and it was very muddy with like an indoor rug thrown out to walk on...a few pavers were there but not enough to help with the mud... The stairs are a bit treacherous when you have little ones with you...I should have paid more attention to that detail so that's on me... For the area I think the nightly is a bit high but the space and calm was worth it for us for this trip... Thank you!!!

I realize there’s not much to say that others before me have not, however, it’s all true. Lupita’s place is as perfect as it looks in the photos and more! If we could give her more than a 5 star review we would. We are still currently exploring other beautiful parts of CR and our daughter has said several times how she misses Lupita’s. She is the ultimate host! Do not miss the farm tour. It was magical for our animal loving daughter. Yes there’s a bit of a drive to get to La Fortuna and the activities in that area but it is well worth it for the beauty and peace that surround you at this spot. We hope to one day return!

Juju’s came highly recommended to me by two couples I am close friends with, and it did NOT disappoint! I had the most peaceful, relaxing time enjoying the beauty of the land, and all of the amazing seating the house had to offer while I was reading the books I brought. It was such a relaxing time, and I never wanted to leave. The house has such a sweet history and I appreciate that Matt + family are willing to share it with everyone. I’ll definitely be back!

O lugar é maravilhoso, uma das paisagens mais lindas que já vi, para onde se olha a vista é deslumbrante. A casa é bem equipada, na cozinha tem várias comodidades, cafeiteira, air fryer, fogao a gas excelente (só falta um microondas), o chuveiro é um espetáculo com bastante pressão, as TVs são enormes e a caixa jbl faz ficar um cinema, a internet também é excelente já que sinal de celular não pega nas proximidades! Vale a pena contratar o café da manhã que é bem gostoso e farto, entregue na cabana. Também tem ar condicionado bem potente então seja calor ou frio dá pra ficar bem confortável. Talvez seria interessante colocar cortinas blackout no quarto pois a hora que nasce o sol a claridade é bem forte ja que o teto e paredes são de vidro. Em resumo o lugar é para quem gosta de silêncio e paz junto à natureza, o anfitrião é muito prestativo e querido, gostamos tanto que já fizemos a próxima reserva!

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming bunkhouse! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The peaceful country setting was exactly what I needed to unwind. The hot tub was a dream, perfect for relaxing under the stars after a long day. I also really enjoyed the cozy fire pit, which made for such peaceful evenings. One of the sweetest surprises was the fresh treats left for guests. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. The host also provided excellent travel directions, which made getting there a breeze. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought-out. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy retreat with plenty of charm, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back.

Wow, I see why Derek's place has stellar 5-star reviews! Besides the property being beautiful (the view off the back deck is incredible), I've never seen cleaner floors in my life. Furniture was all super comfortable. Also, the bathroom had full-size shower products, which I always appreciate, and there was plenty of ice in the freezer (great for someone who needs a bit to fill a cooler), so thoughtful. Also have to shout-out Philay's restaurant, the owner Michelle insisted we bring our dogs inside(!) bec it was so hot. Good food, too. Will def stay here again.

My husband, grand daughter and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Alfredo & Christa's farm. Everyone was lovely, the animals were fun and we felt very welcome

We had a wonderful stay -so peaceful and quite. The hot tub was great and relaxing. There were fresh eggs for us in the refrigerator when we arrived - they were really good. My husband enjoyed fishing in the pond. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!!!

We visited Scarlett’s place on a Saturday-Monday to celebrate my son’s 4th birthday and we fell in love with this peaceful home. We truly felt like it was a home away from home. Our kids loved the alpacas, sheep and goats on the property and it was extremely helpful that Scarlett had more feed delivered for us the next day so we can continue the fun of feeding the animals! Loved everything about our trip! We don’t live too far away so we will be back often!

Tammy was incredible when it came to accommodation, we showed up late and made sure that everything was perfect when we arrived. It is so secluded and really ensured that we had everything we needed. We loved everything about this location and just the peace that came with knowing that we were taken care of was incredible! An absolute gem to stay at!

This place is nothing short of perfect. The watering hole was 1000x better than I expected and was such a perfect get away from the hot Texas sun. Location wise this home is around the corner from sooo many places to eat, listen to live music etc. love love love it!
