Boat holiday rentals in Latin America

There aren't enough words to describe our experience on the Yacht Freedom with Gerrie & Hettie. From the time we checked-in, to departing, everything was perfect. We had a great time snorkeling, sharing stories and drinking rum punch. Gerrie and Hettie are the best hosts and all-around amazing people. If you have the opportunity, it's a must stay.

Roberto's sailboat was comfy and since his large vessel was moored in peaceful Bahia Marina, the minimal waves rocked me gently to sleep. Nice! Bring your own ice, if you want to bring anything cold aboard. The cabin and cockpit are very comfy. Sipping a fine Brugal Leyenda rhum after an hour and a half or so drive to the Marina where "Roberto" greeted me was a wonderful way to end the day and my 10 days in wonderful DR (4 days in Cabarete, 4 days in Las Terrenas and just 2 in Samana)! Roberto was very responsive and was okay greeting me around 8:30 PM or so (within his 6 to 10 pm arrival window). It would have been great to sail in the light WSW winds of 18km/h or so the next day, but scheduled repairs and maintenance took precedence, over my fairly last-minute booking. Still, Roberto, was kind enough to facilitate a snorkeling excursion into Samana Bay (for a fee) with one of his contacts. All in all, I had a wonderful time! Thank you, "Roberto"!

We loved staying on Destiny. We had never experienced living on a boat and wanted to try it out. It is extremely well equipped & clean. The location of the marina is close to restaurants, shopping and excursions. Being on the water was calming, peaceful and made for a great night's sleep(the beds are amazing). Michael was a responsive and friendly host. We would love to come back.

This is the perfect escape to enjoy with friends when in Cancun. Bethany was incredibly helpful with all of our needs. Captain Eric and first mate Alexis were outstanding with the boat and taking care of all of us with our personal belongings, food, and drink. Incredible experience on the boat ride from the Lagoon to Isla de Mujeres. Everyone in my groups was extremely impressed and are ready to come back to ride the "Destiny" again.

Just as the previous reviews state, Rob was tremendous in every single aspect. He is especially great with communication and is incredibly thoughtful and accommodating with bottled water and he provided a treat in the form of Charleston wafers, which my family loved. Rob even check-in with us to see how things were going along the way. I was initially concerned about how comfortable my family of five would be, but Rob reassured me that we would be fine and I’m happy to report he was right. To give you an idea I’m 6’3” 300lbs, my wife is 6 foot, my oldest is also 6’3”, the other two aren’t a big concern YET anyway with respect to height and weight. We all slept comfortably and had fun diving into nightly movies from his movie collection on-board to avoid the heat. We had an awesome experience on The First Lite and hope you will too. The location is great, the quality of the boat and everything was also great. The charter experience was very cool as well. Just ensure you are able to check in before 5pm as it can cause issues.

Amazing experience we were looking for. Gustavo and Renata were wonderful with our family, making us very comfortable. Renata, in addition to being attentive and friendly, cooks very well, preparing tasty dishes, which are previously agreed with the guests. Gustavo is very willing and helpful, in addition to always cultivating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a different experience on Airbnb, this is one of them. We'll be back for sure.

We stayed on a boat!! different than our usual stays, and fun! it was just big enough for two people. The dock was not busy, a nice restaurant and bar right there, and several options within walking distance. Alex was very helpful with clear instructions from getting there to keeping the water level just right. The boat is nicely decorated, just know that on a boat, it's tight quarters (which just adds to the fun!) Having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the middle deck was just the best. thank you Alex for a wonderful stay!

Dennis was more than hospitable. Periodic showers come through in Florida regularly and he was always attentive if we needed extra towels to dry the boat. He even brought out fishing rags for my husband to use. This was a trial to see if we would like to houseboat part-time in retirement. The verdict was a definitive YES!

This was a perfect experience!!!! Exactly what I needed!!! It a very unique experience and a perfect way to getaway and unwind simply!! My husband and I took a quick Florida getaway to beat the NJ winter and this place was exactly what I needed. It was such a wonderful change of pace. It truly reminded me that life is simple. Adam’s boat was a awesome stay! He was very easy to get ahold of with any questions and concerns and even recommended some great spots to see in the island. The boat was clean and a fun experience. Great value, especially with the access to the resort and private beach and pool which was so amazing.

Best adventure ever, the boat life was a blast. So much fun! Great hosts, everything was as described and exceeded our expectations! Be prepared to relax, sleep to the gentle swells, watch the tarpon play under the lights, and greet the sunrise looking out over the water.

One of the best, most unique trips we have taken. 4 nights truly wasn’t long enough! Guadalupe, Estoban, and Magga were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. Spending 5 days on a sailboat with strangers can feel intimidating, but we truly felt connected to them as soon as we got there. We sailed each day to a new island and were given the freedom of how we wanted to spend our time. Guadalupe prepared a variety of beautiful, delicious meals - it felt like we were at a restaurant! We would recommend this trip to anyone. San Blas is incredible and exploring the area on Thyra will exceed your expectations. Guadalupe, Estoban, Maga - thank you for being amazing hosts. David was an exceptional host! His boat is a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo on water. It’s beautiful and so is the water surrounding it. He was quick to respond, available as needed and met us at the boat to show us around. The boat was easy to live in. We loved it and will be back! It doesnt feel like a boat - plenty of space and its well decorated. Beds and furniture are comfortable. He has stocked it with all the amentities and provided extras. The Bean Bags on the front deck were our favorite. Watched the sunset from there. This is one of our favorite rentals - so peaceful, relaxing and luxurious! Tarpon Springs has some great food too. The little town is a mile a away, but you wouldn’t know it. The boat and marina are nice and quiet except for nature 😊 The town is authetic greek - generations that have been cooking family recipes. The food was delicious!

Had a minor problem but she addressed it and offered us other accommodations but at that time we declined but we will definitely book again!!! Doug/Misti❤️

Very good welcome, we thank Marie-Ange for all the little attention we received (Pdj + aperitif + water and fruit), very clean and functional, close to shops and restaurants, as well as the covered market. The room was very comfortable with air conditioning, the outdoor dinette very nice with a great view of the sunset in the evening. All the essentials for cooking and for comfort (2 fridges, a microwave, gas stove, everything you need to eat and take the Pdj). For the very functional toilet and enough space, as well as the shower, but at 50 meters you have a shower and WC available private with the key to the boat, so reserved for very clean boaters. Very quiet, very peaceful environment despite the world, everyone respects the neighbor.

Amazing place! I loved everything about the boat and the location. Kelly was also very helpful and gave us clear instructions. A unique experience that I would recommend to anyone!

We had an AMAZING stay with Diego and Moni. Even before the trip, they were very helpful with explanations about what to expect, how to organize transportation there and what to bring. The catamaran is beautiful and well equipped. Diego pays attention to every detail and we always felt very safe and comfortable. They prepared delicious home cooked meals for us, taking into account our preferences and including fresh caught seafood. They showed us around the most beautiful areas in San Blas and took into account the activities we were interested in. Their children are lovely and so sweet, our kids got along great with them. We can definitely recommend this for a trip to the San Blas islands. Thank you so much for an unforgettable adventure and for welcoming us into your home!

Kurtis was a great host. He helped us out several times and offered the use of his kayaks, which we used several times. We enjoyed a fun snorkling expedition with him as well. He is very knowledgable. We also spent a night in another of his Airbnbs, a room at his house that was very comfortable. Overall it was a great experience staying on his boat!
