This place was incredible, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The views from the front sitting area were absolutely stunning, with a perfect line of sight to Study Butte and the Chisos Mountains. I loved the eco-conscious design of the home, it felt peaceful, intentional, and in harmony with the Terlingua landscape. The host was wonderful, extremely friendly and welcoming. She even took the time to teach the kids a bit about what it’s like to live out here, from conserving rainwater to reading the clouds. It added a thoughtful, personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a scenic, meaningful escape with comfort and character.

Sergio is a wonderful host—very kind, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions. The stay was extremely comfortable, as the house had absolutely everything one might need. The location is fantastic, although it might be a bit challenging for those who aren’t physically prepared—but it’s still quite accessible. The view from the window is absolutely breathtaking—it's hard to imagine anything better. Thank you so much, Sergio, for your warm hospitality and for making our stay so pleasant and memorable!

This was probably the most unique and memorable Airbnb we’ve stayed at so far! We absolutely loved the peace and quiet—it truly felt like an escape from the world. The views were stunning, with Big Bend practically in the backyard, and we even got to enjoy a bit of hiking up the beautiful ridge on the property. The outdoor shower was so cool with an amazing view, and even the outhouse had its own charm! One thing to note is the drive to the property—it’s down a secluded, rocky road, and GPS won’t quite get you there. We made the mistake of arriving after dark, which made it trickier, even with the detailed directions provided by the host. I’d definitely recommend arriving during daylight for a smoother experience. All in all, we highly recommend this little oasis. It was a beautiful, serene getaway and a highlight of our time in Terlingua—one we’ll remember fondly!

The Earthbag home was absolutely incredible! Jamie did a phenomenal job creating this off-grid paradise. It was so well laid out, with walking paths, plenty of outdoor areas to hang out & star gaze. The views here were incredible from sunrise to sunset the views were breathtaking. I even enjoyed the private view from the outdoor shower! Jamie was extremely communicative & detailed with instructions which made it easy to navigate. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this house! The backyard was peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed our time in the yard. There is a goat and horse who live next door and it was fun to stroll by and say hello to them! The house is very well maintained, comfortable, and a good layout. Would definitely return to enjoy this unique little town.

A casa de Greice é muito bem equipada, bem decorada e confortável. Cada cantinho tem uma decoração. A cama bastante confortável, roupas de cama cheirosas. O local é muito tranquilo, com bastante privacidade, porém seguro. Tem uma mata (acho q nativa) nos fundos da propriedade tornando-o ambiente mais privativo. E bem tranquilo e rápido para ir ao centro canela bem como sair pra Gramado de carro. Greice sempre muito educada e solícita. Respondeu muito rápido quando foi necessário. Gostei demais da estadia!!!

Carrie and Patrick were so nice and welcoming and their property was so beautiful. We loved meeting the dogs, donkeys and goats. They even have wildlife come through their property but unfortunately we missed the javelina while we were there. If we ever go back to Tucson I would definitely stay at the Casita Del Rey again!

We had a great time at Linda’s place with our two kids. Her house is a lovely little museum where you feel cosy and at home. Very nice backyard where you can enjoy the sun and the peaceful neighborhood.

beautiful property!! beautiful and comfortable home!! amazing gem of a spot in the jungle. far enough away but still reasonably accessible. will be our number 1 spot when we return to Costa Rica. host and family were extremely nice and hospitable. would have liked to stay a few more weeks

A casa hobbit é uma fofura, nós adultos voltamos a ser crianças. Ficava encantada com as janelas e portas redondas, paredes de pedra, vista da piscina... Casa super cheirosa, tudo muito limpo, organizado, e roupas de cama impecáveis. Donos nos permitiram fazer check out tardio, o que nos ajudou bastante. Nos receberam com mimos. Beija-flores, meu passarinho predileto, vinham nos visitar todos os dias. Ter uma piscina exclusiva é um grande diferencial. Nossa dog amou a casa, ficou muito feliz nela. Com certeza retornaremos e indicaremos. Desejamos todo o sucesso para os proprietários, que são uns queridos.

A casa é incrível. Integrada à natureza, bem equipada, bem decorada, parquinho para as crianças. Estava muito limpa e organizada. A Jane e o Marcelo tornaram a experiência ainda mais agradável sendo muito prestativos com tudo. Nos perdemos um pouco na chegada porque o GPS nos mandou para o lugar errado, mas consegui contato com a Miriam e tudo se resolveu rapidamente. Espero poder voltar um dia.

We really enjoyed our stay here— the view was so beautiful and all the amenities at the house were amazing. It was very comfortable. Most of all, we’ve never had such a friendly and helpful host. We will return for sure.

Monk and Simonne truly hosted me with care, and the courtyard of exquisite desert flora and fauna kept me captivated during quiet morning and evening reflections. This is the perfect spot for someone who wants a walkable neighborhood on a peaceful street, short drives to downtown and the U of A, and quiet space for reflection. The colors of the adobe interior are luscious. The kitchen was set up for someone who, like me, ACTUALLY intends to cook most of their meals. What a gem.

Incredible location, 2 minute walk to the beach. Surrounded by nature.

Es un espacio hermoso para descansar y para pasar en pareja, disfrutamos cada rincón de la cabaña ya que se siente como estar en casa de lo cozy que es. Ademas el paisaje es increíble. Es un must para hospedarse cuando estés en San Cristóbal de las Casas. Y Rodrigo es un excelente host desde el primer momento nos hizo sentir bienvenidos y siempre al pendiente de ti. Sin duda volveríamos a regresar.

A experiência que vivemos no Condado foi maravilhosa. A toca e tudo ao redor surpreende. Foram dois dias incríveis e de muita diversão. Os anfitriões são pessoas lindas e amáveis. O café da manhã delicioso. Tudo lá foi feito com muito amor. Na verdade, as minhas palavras não expressam bem o que sentimos. Eu desejo que muitas pessoas possam se hospedar neste lugar encantador. Gorgeous stay! It is small but perfectly cozy with a pristine bathroom. It has a stunning view of the mountains and the inevitable fog that rolls in. Cristóbal was also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

We loved our stay. Beautiful location. Well thought out space with wonderful garden and ethos. It did end up being a bit further from central Oaxaca than we had originally thought, but it wasn’t an issue for us. This place is in the mountains so if you are squeamish about bugs keep that in mind you are close to nature. Host was super responsive and kind. Also, they provide purified water! We missed this when we booked and accidently brought plastic in, but the host took care of the recycling with no fuss. Would absolutely book again.

Я провела незабываемое время в домике у Карлы! Это место — настоящий рай среди гор. Каждое утро я выходила на улицу с чашкой кофе, наслаждаясь потрясающими видами и природой. Я чувствовала себя, как в фильме “Каникулы по обмену”! Я приехала отмечать свой день рождения одна, и всё было просто великолепно. Особенно приятно было сидеть рядом с камином, наслаждаясь звуками потрескивающих бревен. Не было никаких проблем с горячей водой или расположением — всё было супер! Я определённо рекомендую это жильё всем, кто хочет провести время наедине с природой и насладиться спокойствием. Спасибо, Карла, за такой чудесный опыт!
