Cottage holiday rentals in Latin America

An astounding, once in a lifetime experience! The location was incredible, the views and building were phenomenal, and the Herbal Ceremony with Thena was beyond anything we could have hoped for. We left feeling transformed and inspired! Highly recommend for at least 2 nights.

Best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. So much attention to detail. Missy definitely curated a romantic “vibe”! We watched a summer storm roll in over the marsh in the porch swing out back and had fun listening to vinyl on the record player. Host was lightning fast to respond to questions. Just a quick golf cart ride to the beach and lighthouse. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I had an absolutely lovely time staying at Cata’s place! The grounds were beautiful, quiet, and so very peaceful. The pool was lovely (and deep!) with comfy loungers all around. Our room was extremely cozy, with the perfect little kitchen. My dog and I had a wonderful and peaceful time! I miss being there already!

This was the perfect place to stay with our dogs! We loved the layout of the place, and the peacefulness of the location. There is a second cabin near the cottage, and they played loud music Fridays night, but Saturday it was peaceful! The upstairs was nice and spacious with a king bed. The bed is on the firm side and the pillows provided were extremely soft and plus. The bedroom floor upstairs moved a bit when you walked around, or when the dogs got the zoomies. But it was nice and cozy! Huge closet, too. We can’t wait to come back when it’s cold enough to use the hot tub!

If you’re looking to stay in Waco, this is the place to be!! Rochelle and Paul took great care of us from the beginning to the end! We loved the flip chart of recommendations and general information! We would 100% book this place again!! Such a great and relaxing experience 😎

O lugar é maravilhoso, uma das paisagens mais lindas que já vi, para onde se olha a vista é deslumbrante. A casa é bem equipada, na cozinha tem várias comodidades, cafeiteira, air fryer, fogao a gas excelente (só falta um microondas), o chuveiro é um espetáculo com bastante pressão, as TVs são enormes e a caixa jbl faz ficar um cinema, a internet também é excelente já que sinal de celular não pega nas proximidades! Vale a pena contratar o café da manhã que é bem gostoso e farto, entregue na cabana. Também tem ar condicionado bem potente então seja calor ou frio dá pra ficar bem confortável. Talvez seria interessante colocar cortinas blackout no quarto pois a hora que nasce o sol a claridade é bem forte ja que o teto e paredes são de vidro. Em resumo o lugar é para quem gosta de silêncio e paz junto à natureza, o anfitrião é muito prestativo e querido, gostamos tanto que já fizemos a próxima reserva!

Loved the aesthetic of this house- has a wrap around porch and is decorated very well! About 10 ish minutes from downtown Fredericksburg and very secluded. I wasn’t expecting it to be out on land/no neighbors but it ended up being very serene and peaceful. My only complaint was strict check in and check out times but that was specified before we booked. Ideally we could have had a little more time there but the perfect place for a couple!

This Airbnb doesn't just look like it does in the pictures -- it feels like it does in the pictures. My wife and I could not have been happier with our stay at this beautiful property. Everything just worked, and the hosts provided lots of nice little touches. You can tell that they put a lot of thought and care into taking care of their guests. One especially neat part was the gentleman that greeted us at the property, Alex, one of the family members who helped build and now runs the property. I ran out of characters, so I had to cut this review short, but, long story short, I'd recommend taking Alex up on his restaurant recommendations and his tour of the cloud forest. Alex quoted us a very affordable rate for a group tour, but that day, it turned out to be just us and Alex. Alex had such positive, pura vida vibes, and my wife and I had a great time learning about the flora, fauna, and the history of Monteverde. I have zero reservations recommending this property. Pura vida!

What an amazing stay at Cay Casita in Spanish Wells! This place is truly one-of-a-kind. Originally the island’s lock shop, it’s been transformed into a charming studio. The decor is tasteful, adorned with flowers, shells, and pictures of the island and its people, giving it a warm, local vibe. The backyard patio is impeccable, complete with an outdoor shower. The owner was super responsive, even to my silly questions. It’s very affordable, perfect for 1-2 people, and ideal for romantic getaways or just escaping the everyday. It’s also close to Buddhas, a lively bar with karaoke on Fridays. Excellent stay, highly recommend!

This place is a piece of heaven on earth. The cottage has everything you need, the property is beautiful, the bed comfortable, and the ocean is only 10 mins drive away! Sue and Jerry are wonderful hosts, we hope to be back!

It was a wonderful, cozy, relaxing experience! I love the cabin and what y’all have done with it! I live in what is left of the country in south Fort Worth (Burleson) but coming out here reminds me of what it used to be like there! Thank you so much!

Wonderful place to stay. Has everything you could need to go spend a day at the beach. And you can walk to the beach or the bay. It was a very quiet neighborhood and the place itself was clean and pleasant. Would recommend and hope to go visit again.

What a wonderful stay in Laurel. Close to all the shopping and restaurants in the area. Liz was so helpful with everything. The house was easy to find and I was so excited to stay in a home renovated by Ben and Erin on Hometown.

Perfect little spot to crash for the night with my boyfriend and dog! Cozy, clean, with a nice outdoor space. It was easy to access and just a quick stroll to local food. Would definitely recommend.

The house was really nice everything was with in driving distance when we went out and we really enjoyed the fire pit definitely looking forward to coming back!

Can’t say enough great things about The Lemon Cottage! Super cute, very clean, within walking distance to shops, bars, and restaurants. We even had fresh flowers upon our arrival. We will be back!

My wife and I took a short vacation away from our kids at Shelly's cabin and it was beautiful, quiet, and restorative. Exactly what we were looking for. The views of the lake are amazing and we spent hours sitting on the screened-in porch.

From the moment we got there, we were captivated by the lush trees forming a natural canopy overhead, the cheerful songs of birds, and the rich tapestry of colorful plants and flowers that frame every view. The serenity we felt throughout the week was unmatched—an oasis of peace that lingers in your memory. The pool is incredible, so don’t forget your swimsuit. It might be helpful to make a grocery run before heading up, since the nearest shops aren’t within walking distance. Believe me, once you're nestled in, you won’t want to leave. We already miss this hidden paradise! We also loved the thoughtful local recommendations from the host—Linda’s was a standout and worth every penny. This place is more than a destination. It’s an experience.

Our stay at Casita Bear Creek was nothing short of magical, truly living up to its reputation as a hidden gem near Austin. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by an immediate sense of peace and grounding. The property's prime location on Bear Creek Pass offers an idyllic setting, making it the perfect escape from the everyday hustle. The highlight for us, beyond the sheer tranquility, was the exceptional fishing. My husband, a passionate angler, was absolutely thrilled. He reeled in an impressive 30 bass, making his trip incredibly memorable. It's rare to find such a productive and beautiful fishing spot! The entire environment felt incredibly serene, with the gentle sounds of the water and the lush surroundings creating a deeply relaxing atmosphere. We look forward to coming back. We had such a wonderful stay! It was relaxing and the home was so cute and comfortable. Cynthia also dropped by with the most delicious cookies! :) We will definitely be staying here again when our travels take us back to Wimberly.
