Hidden Mekong

FranRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We hit the jackpot finding Hidden Mekong. It was perfect for our small family group of 3 adults for 9 days. The house is as beautiful and comfortable as in the pictures, with everything you could need, plus great air con, and that amazing view of the Mekong from the balcony area. Noy allowed us to check in early, and was very responsive to queries throughout our stay. The property really is a hidden gem. Set off a bustling commercial area, accessed down a lane and alleys past local homes to a very private and peaceful riverside spot. We loved the walk to the local shops and market, seeing life and greeting our neighbours, and also made use of the bikes Noy provided. The Ock Pok Tok Centre is nearby which is a little oasis to grab an iced tea by the river or an evening meal, and enjoy the local crafts. It’s just a little too far to walk into Luang old town in the heat but easy to grab a taxi or tuk. Just be aware they can’t get right to the property (if you have mobility issues).

Close to shopping mall and night market #R5

SilinaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I stayed in this Airbnb room for 5 nights, and everything was absolutely great! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It had everything I needed for a relaxed and easy stay. The bed was cozy, the room was quiet, and I felt right at home the whole time. The host was kind and responsive, which made the experience even better. Whether you're staying short- or long-term, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely come back again—thank you for a wonderful stay!

Mali's Grandma House

KrisRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Venus and Andy are amazing hosts! First, it’s the perfect location. Literally feet from the Mekong one way and the morning market (my personal favorite) the other but is far enough away to enjoy the quiet neighborhood. Just minutes walk from the night market and all the main temple attractions and all kinds of restaurants. They also give you an extra list of local recommendations for food, drinks and even things like clinics, pharmacy and grocery store (most hosts forget about tourists needing those) so it was extremely helpful. Both Venus and Andy are extremely responsive to any questions we had, extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area. The house is an older traditional style house so it’s a little rustic. If you want a more local tradition feel, this is definitely the place. There’s no A/c in the main part of the house but there is in the bedroom. Kitchen with all basic supplies. Outdoor seating. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Ban Papaya, on Hilltop 2-Storey Home w/ Balcony

SophiaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The house is in a very quiet location. Everything was very neat, clean and there is a very nice señora next door who helped us with all questions. It is a 25-minute walk to the center, but it is easier with a scooter :)

Jooyoung's Private Pension No. 2 Private pension 1 night + 5-person electric car (Knight, including fuel fee)

WonjaeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I always used the hotel for a trip to Southeast Asia, but it was unfortunate that I broke up at night, so I was looking for a single-family home with a kitchen and living room, and I found this place run by Koreans, so I booked it for 4 days. First of all, it's the best place to It is said to be a little far from the center, but it is near the university district and it is a densely populated place. And it's rather easy to get around because you support a car. The laundry is washed every day, and the dishes I cooked and ate are touched by the dishes I washed every day. Each room is equipped with a charger set, and towels are filled every day. For those who come to golf for 4 people, there is a convenient golf course with a car, a living room, and a kitchen. The owner personally picks you up at the airport on the first day, gives you a lot of information, and communicates right away during your trip!!! My friends who stayed with me were also satisfied that they had a good stay. Even though the checkout time is 6 pm, you can relax after that, and the additional amount of the car in the late hours is very cheap!! I hope that the subsequent period is helpful and that many people use it.

Ban Anoulak - Cultural Preservation Village

AgnesRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This is an amazing place! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. If you want to experience genuine Tai Lue culture, go there. We were welcomed by Pannavith and his family like relatives. The children came and played with ours and we all cried when we left. Pannavith is so passionate about his culture and willing to share and explain everything to his hosts. He is a brilliant young man and can offer very insightful perspectives. The workshops they offer are incredible value. It is not merely a quick demonstration of a craft, you actually get to craft something from start to finish in how much time it takes you to finish. The meals are wonderful and varied, a true culinary experience. Every day we discovered a new ingredient or dishes we had never tasted before. Everyone in the family is so generous with their time and knowledge and open their heart to their guests. An unforgettable experience, thank you so much to whole the family!

The Namkhan, Sunset Namkhan Villa

ClifftonRating, 5 stars16 months ago
The Namkhan facilities, the surroundings, the whole set up is very beautiful and tastefully done. The rooms were beautiful, very clean and private. We had our own space and a spectacular view. The communication from The Namkhan team could be better and faster (They did acknowledge that in my case - Thank you!). The prices are a little above market for Laos, in my opinion. However, I would highly recommend this place as it's worth the peace of mind.

The Namkhan, Explorer Glamping

DarylRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a wonderful 3 nights stay here as part of our honeymoon. The Namkhan very nicely upgraded us to the Lovers’ Tent upon our arrival at the resort. All the staff we met were so friendly and helpful, and it really made us feel so special and cared for the entire time we were there. It is a little far out from city centre of Luang Prabang, but if you’re looking more for a peaceful, quiet stay, we highly recommend (:

The Namkhan, Art Deluxe Room

YannickRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at the at The Namkhan Lodge was truly exceptional! Karl and his team were remarkably warm and attentive , and always catered to our preferences with great care. The yoga session was amazing, and the breakfast was a delight, offering a diverse array of delicious options. Our room was wonderfully cozy, and the veranda provided the perfect spot to unwind with a beer at the end of the day. The entire lodge is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a serene and refreshing atmosphere. The outdoor gym was a standout feature, and the swimming pool was definitely worth a dip. We can’t wait to return!

Newly Built-Full Villa-Laos Castle-Spacious Living Room-Bedroom 5-Bathroom 6-Terrace

CurtRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful villa located in Donkoi village. We stayed as a group of touring cricketers for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Both inside and outside are very spacious. All bedrooms are equipped with en suite bathrooms although the 5th outside bedroom is used by the maid who stays at the property during the stay. The maid is very friendly and did an excellent job at organising our laundry everyday to be ready for the following mornings. She was also on hand to clean and restock the mini bar each day. The host was responsive and helpful throughout and kindly accommodated us with a late checkout free of charge. Would highly recommend and will be returning in the future.

Secret Garden House - Tad Lo, Bolaven Loop Pakse

CaitlinRating, 5 stars17 months ago
I enjoyed a restorative long-term stay in this traditional Lao-style house, making a daily routine of cooking meals in the open-air kitchen using fresh ingredients from the market and practicing yoga on the deck in view of the lush garden. The property is a 15-minute walk from the main road, peaceful, and totally private. Nearby Fandee island was a delightful place to hang out and indulge in the best burger I've had in Laos when I was too lazy to cook. Living amongst the critters and bugs is not for the faint of heart, but if you're looking to experience deep nature and simple living, this is the place for you. Thank you Loïc for being such a wonderful host!

River View Villas

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed here for a month with our family with two small kids. The place is in a great area. It’s at the beginning of the West Loop if you’re interested in that. There are also rental bikes across the street. The restaurant is also directly in front of the property for morning food or lunch. The kitchen is well stocked in the apartment/home. The air-conditioning worked well in the home and the hot water worked well for the whole family that never ran out of hot water. The host is very helpful and responsive the whole time we were there and I would definitely recommend it for anyone for any period of time.

Had a great stay at Peninsular. The surrounding is fantastic. The property is clean, local-like, and accessible within walking distances to nearby attractions and chill places. Amenities provided inside the property is sufficient and appropriate. Had received great reception and guidance from the host and helpful recommendations throughout the stay. Location is superb, environment is tranquil and full of Laos authentic vibrants, and the stay is chill. Friendly host with excellent English speaking facilitates our stay and discovery of Luang Prabang attractions that is not to be missed. Although it is a short stay, but it is such a memorable and unforgettable trip and stay in this property. Thank you host !!

SIFA, Private Home Perched on a Hilltop w/ Balcony

FernandaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The house is absolutely beautiful, the surroundings too! it’s a gorgeous place, not far from the old town, easy to get to, the climb up is no big deal and the neighbors/family are adorable. The downsides were that the house is a bit dark, electricity is unstable and communication with the host was very frustrating at times.

Souliya‘s place is a lovely, two-story stone-wood house with wooden shutters. It a very cosy and well decorated home. We just fell in love with it and the surrounding area. 🥰 The bed is comfy. The bathroom complete with a nice shower. Great appliances. Easy walkable to both rivers and old town. It has a little garden or terrace, depending on whether you are on the ground floor or on the first floor. Would return anytime. 🙏🏼

River View Villas

ClaraRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We were very well hosted by our hosts and the accommodation was perfectly adapted to our needs, with the addition of a crib for our little one. Breakfast in the owners' cafe is a real treat, with a library that delighted our boy. The place can be noisy in the evening, but it's the cleanness of this city with many activities. Regarding the outside unfortunately work was in progress and we were not able to enjoy this small playground.
