An extremely pleasant extended weekend in a place full of charm. Julie is cheerful, attentive and considerate. I've rarely seen such a hearty breakfast in other cottages. Likewise, we also tested the proposed meal: excellent value for money. Finally, the jacuzzi session in the troglodyte cellar ended up charming us. I highly recommend this listing.

Cour de Liege is a gem within a gem! Anjou is already a treasure in the heart of France, but Laurent and Piritta's property is a pocket of paradise. Calm, scenic, rustic but elegant. Laurent and Piritta were the kindest hosts and really made us feel at home. They helped us learn about the area and gave us the investment of their time. Our children loved the countryside property and the horses, peacocks, and natural beauty. The farmhouse gite is tastefully restored and the beds were wonderful! We didn't want to leave! One of the best spots in France:) Thank you to Laurent and Piritta-- excellent hosts and wonderful people.

Very well-equipped cottage, in an old outbuilding renovated with great taste. The hostess provides a perfect welcome, she is full of good tips for visiting the area. Recommended without hesitation.

My wife went to Amboise and were fortunate enough to discover this hidden gem of a private holiday home. The privacy and tranquility of the place were nothing short of amazing. It was the ideal setting for a couples' getaway, allowing us to truly disconnect from our everyday routines and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Amboise. My wife was absolutely delighted with the ambiance – the peaceful surroundings offered us a chance to reconnect and enjoy each other's company without any distractions. Of course, the lovely pool added an extra layer of luxury to our stay. My wife and I spent hours lounging by the pool, and relishing the warm sun. It provided the perfect backdrop for creating beautiful memories together.

great. cozy, the accommodation is very good for a couple. intimate, exceptional view of the fields, horses, sunset and no neighbors when you are in the jacuzzi which is private. The sauna is also very good. communication without any problems before, during and after the stay. (thank you for calling us back for forgetting the wallet!)

We needed somewhere to rest and catchup with each other having very stressful work lives , this location and accommodation was ideal as it was peaceful yet still close to busy areas if needed

This tranquil place is perfect for a stop over or as a base to explore the region. It is close to the motorway and yet far enough from it no to be heard. There is a medium size supermarket and a large pet store nearby which is convenient. The village itself is worth a visit, especially on market day. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding of great quality. The log burner is user friendly and efficient. There is plenty of wood made available. The grounds are vast and very pleasant. Our labrador took full advantage of them. The owner is very friendly towards both dogs and people. The mairie has recently changed the street numbers but google has yet to receive the memo so it sends you to the wrong address. Make sure you double check the address with the owner before your arrival. This was a real find for us after travelling through France for 3 months. It is a perfect mid way stop over if you are travelling up or down on the west coast, especially with a dog. We'll be back:)

Pam and Ingemar were just so nice ! They looked after us so well ( delicious home made bread ,food in the fridge) and their cottage is very confortable, in the middle of nature. It's peaceful and quite. Wonderful to rest. The zoo is roughly 8 minutes driving. We hope to come back !

Our stay at the little house was wonderful. The accommodation is a peaceful haven in the heart of a cottage where everyone has their privacy. Between visiting the castles and sunbathing by the pool, time passes peacefully. Our hosts were of rare kindness. A smile, a little wave of the hand, they are present without ever imposing themselves. We would like to thank them for allowing us this unique decompression. We highly recommend this listing. First of all, the estate is surrounded by nature, near Saumur. Many visits within a limited perimeter. For children, the pool is very nice for a return visit. The apartment suited us perfectly for the 3 of us.

Annie and Thierry are very good hosts. They responded very quickly to our questions and queries. Lots to explore within a thirty minute drive. Saumur is exceptionally beautiful, Angers is very busy! Great onsite parking and very secure area for young children and a little active dog! Great outdoor seating area and BBQ, as equally comfortable inside. Quality furnishing. Two double bedrooms with en-suite shower room. Beds very comfortable. Children’s games, thoroughly enjoyed by our grandchildren. Lots of information on places to see, things to do. We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone wanting a peaceful place to rest after a busy day exploring.

We came for an equestrian competition and Karine's accommodation is 7 minutes away by car. There was everything we needed during our stay and Karine was very welcoming. The house is very quiet and perfectly equipped. We will be back for future competitions.

A small cottage in a peaceful environment, in the homeland of Rabelais. Chinon is nearby. The accommodation is very nice and well-equipped with a garden and terrace. The host is available for an easy check-in.

We spent a very relaxing week, exploring the Loire Valley during the day, taking a swim in the afternoon and enjoying a barbecue in the evening. It was a very good place for us to slow down… You will have a regular and enjoyable visitor though - Sandra’s friendly black cat likes to come over.

Sophie welcomed us very warmly to her beautiful property. The house is very nice and well-located, just a few minutes from Chinon, with lots of things to do around. I highly recommend Sophie's cottage, for lovers of good wines and history.

We stayed for a week at the farmhouse. The house is well equipped and clean. The week we stayed was very hot, but the house remained lovely and cool. The pool is fabulous! And the ping-pong table, boules and other garden games/equipment were great for the kids. The location is rural but shops and amenities are only a short drive away. Siobhan and her family were very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return and recommend to others!

If you want to explore Amboise we highly recommend this little gem. It is very conveniently located just few minutes outside Amboise with lots of people privacy. Ideal for couples ans people traveling with bikes. The hosts make you feel right at home!
