Place was very beautiful and was such a nice area, definitely recommend driving over to Columbia during your stay. Place was a bit more renovated than the pictures which was a nice surprise.

Muddy Creek is a diamond of a find. Everything was great. We did not mind the little bit of rain we had. Sunday was gorgeous. The kids had so much fun. we look forward to going back.

The property we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and offered fantastic views of the river and surrounding areas. The house itself was very well maintained and offered a great outdoor area with the hot tub. Josh and Nicole were extremely accommodating and were absolutely fantastic hosts, would completely recommend them and staying on one of their properties.

Nicely updated home on quiet street. Comfortably accommodated our group of 6. Close to local attractions.

Loved this place. Couldn’t say enough about how nice it was. It actually was even better than the pictures showed. We hung out on the back deck with a hot tub and the grill and comfy chairs. Bedroom and bathrooms primo. Kitchen was so organized and stocked with equipment and utensils and everything you might need. This was important for us as we cooked almost every meal here We totally enjoyed the pool table in the basement. The host was very helpful, communicative, and responsive. We enjoyed going to local greenhouses and gardens. Highly recommend this place.

My friends and I stayed for a Hershey park trip. The place was very beautiful, clean and easily access to get to Hershey park ( only about 25 minutes away). Beautiful park across the street, really felt at home. The pool table with the radio downstairs was an awesome area to hang out after a long day. Overall the place was very clean, and just like the photos. Thank you for letting us use your home for our trip!

Beautiful setting along the river. Charming decorations, which reminded visitors of the history of the building, a one room schoolhouse. The combo lock on the door did not work, but the issue was resolved immediately by the host. No other issues.

We had the sweetest time at this cozy little cottage! Everything was sparkling clean and thoughtfully set up—it really felt like a home away from home. The hot tub and fire pit were such a dream, and the whole place looked so calm and relaxing as soon as we pulled up. Honestly, they shouldn’t just call it the cottage... they should call it the cozy cottage, because that’s exactly what it is! Already wishing we were back there.

As always it was a wonderful stay at the Mod Pod, we always feel at home and love the peaceful quietness of the surroundings. The screened in porch was wonderful to sit and listen to the passing rainstorm, the outdoor shower is amazing to take during the summer heat. The all on one level home is perfect for our elderly dog who has some mobility issues, it’s easy for him to get around to go outside. We will be back as it is a perfect location for everything g we want to do in the area.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The swinging bed on the enclosed porch was the perfect place to relax and listen to the chickens and birds and to just enjoy nature. If you like to cook, this is the kitchen for you. If we had any questions, we just texted Carol and she got back to us in less than 5 minutes. We would highly recommend staying here and will be back again when we're in the area.

This was my second time at Josh’s place. I love the views and feel right at home . Will definitely come back!

We had an amazing time at the River House! We were in town for a wedding and to visit family. After living/traveling in our camper for the last 2 years, it was so nice to stretchout! We had 4 beautiful sunsets, including after a family BBQ on the deck. We had everything in the kitchen we needed to make food. The bathroom is beautiful. The comfy couch and fireplace made the evenings so nice. The neighbors on both sides brought us homemade goodies and made us feel right at home. Our dog Lily made friends with LILY the pug next door. We will always try to stay at the River House in future visits to PA. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for sharing your special place with us!

Great cottage away in the woods! Beautiful views and quiet enough to enjoy all of the birds. Yes there were quite a few spiders but that just comes with being in nature 😉 I really enjoyed the location and Ashley is a great host!

Fantastic retro-styled home that was perfect for our group of 5. My 11th at old grandson loved it! I would highly recommend.

Very clean and nicely decorated. Nice kitchen with many kitchenwares and supplies. Host was very friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the personal touches she left for us including treats and real flowers! The town of Ephrata is very quaint with lots to do and see. The neighborhood was very quiet too. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was nice.

Dave and Janella really are super hosts! I stayed at their cottage for six weeks. They were exceptionally helpful and quick to respond to any question I had. It was a perfect location and a great place! Whether you exploring the many Lancaster or Lebanon county sites Mt. Gretna is a perfect base of operations and an easy commute to anything you want to see and do. I would highly recommend this cottage and will be back in the future for sure! Tip if you stay, enjoy your coffee at sunrise from the 2nd story porch, you won't forget it. Cheers!

The house is easily the cleanest and most updated Air B&B we’ve stayed at. Everything down the night switched is new. It also had everything we could need for our stay with two kids, including toys and books for our 2 year old and video games for our 8 year old. The location is great. Easily drivable to the nearby town with plenty of shops and restaurants. The toy store in town was incredible. This house was truly home away from home and we can’t wait to return.

Patti is a great host. I just would have liked if she had indicated on the initial listing that linens and towels are not included. After I booked, I received information that this was the case, but I’m not typically someone who reads more about the listing until right before I arrive. If I had. Early on, Patty would have certainly reimbursed for a cancellation.

This cottage is the perfect peaceful retreat! Cozy, quiet, comfortable, clean, and relaxing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return in the future!

Phenomenal rental! Short and easy drive to Spooky Nook. Jody was an exceptional host before and during our trip. She reached out ahead of our visit to see if we needed any special accommodations, gave us a head’s up about a winter storm, and a link to a local news station when requested. When we arrived, Jody promptly met us to provide a brief introduction to the heating system, ensure our needs were met, and also gave us some helpful guidance to get into Spooky Nook and avoid typical traffic backups. When we arrived back at the cottage during the brief ice storm, we were so grateful to see that she had cleared the steps and pathway to the front door and put salt down to ensure our safety while there. The cottage itself was wonderful. We felt 110% safe at all times and the it was exceptionally and immaculately clean. Beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the small touches made this our favorite AirBnB experience to date. Highly, highly recommend!

The cottage had so much to offer for the amount we paid. We were able to come and go easily in the village, we now want to check out Gretna over the summer when the lake is open! But there are plenty of nearby restaurants and attraction, even in December. This cottage is a real gem!
