Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

Clean, quiet, spacious flat with a view of East Lake Okoboji. Gilbert Park across the street, a short walk to downtown Spirit Lake, and only 4 blocks from the bike trail. This apartment has it's own unique flair with a beautifully updated walk-in tile shower, kitchenette, big screen tv, wi-fi, 1 bedroom queen bed, and a den with a full-sized futon. Newly constructed studio apartment above our garage. Calm, cozy and sunny interior in a quiet neighborhood setting. We have only lived in Fairmont a short time and we love it! It has a "Hallmark" town feel. You may meet our Labradoodle in the backyard - she is very friendly and will want to say Hi. We look forward to hosting you in this city of 5 Lakes! Center Lake Retreat Entire Lower Level Walk Out

As ofJuly 1, 2021 we moved into this beautiful Lakeside home. The AIRBNB is NOT our entire home but it is the entire lower level which is our home. Gorgeous, private lakeside views. It is spacious with a private entrance if suitable, large kitchenette, family room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, bath/shower full bathroom. Lakeside access. There is complete privacy with a Barn Door closure.

Nice space, close to the lakes!

Two bedrooms with an additional pullout couch. Close to East Okoboji Lake, the splash pad at Memorial Park, and downtown shoppes and restaurants. Space for on street parking or off street parking in the back. No centralized air conditioning, but one window unit in the dining area and ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms. Great for families!

We loved our stay! It was perfect for a weekend getaway. We came to relax and this was the perfect place. We loved the location where we can hangout outside or inside. You can fish off the dock and bring the boat up to the dock. Sarah was super friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend this stay!

The Fika House

We had a wonderful stay at the Fika House! We loved the traditional farmhouse with the large, renovated kitchen, beautiful, spacious bedrooms and newly remodeled bathrooms on both levels. We took advantage of the nice weather and spent time on the deck. The gas grill worked great! We enjoyed eating outside on the patio set with the comfortable chairs. In the evening we watched the sunsets from the lovely porch on the west side of the house. It was a great way to end the day. We appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings embracing the Swedish tradition of "fika" by taking time to relax, recharge and connect with our family. We had such a great weekend! We look forward to returning again.

This house is a perfect retreat for our family group (baby to grandparents. There are toys for girls and boys, baby equipment, kayaks, a nice beach/dock area, options for outdoor cooking, a fire pit, and a comfortable house. The lake is quiet even on the weekend. The hostess, Nikki, is super accommodating and accessible. We have been here twice and I won’t be surprised if we come back next year.

We had 6 adults, 3children and infant. We never felt crowded, the two separate living room and family spaces helped a lot. We got the bunk beds with our two kids and amazingly they were quite comfy! Loved that we were all able to stay together as we came up to celebrate our son’s wedding. It was central to festivities and a perfect stay for all the busy.
