Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Winnisquam

This was our second stay at the Lakehouse. Peaceful stay, comfortable environment, great for the kids!

It is a very beautiful and peaceful place, I recommend it, and it is very clean which is one of the most important things about a place.

Place was clean and very cute. exactly what we expected. He responded very quickly.

We had a great stay at Brandon’s place. The house is cozy and clean, and the location right on the lake made it really special. We grilled every night, used the kayaks during the day, and hung out by the fire pit in the evenings. It was super quiet and peaceful, and the view from the dining table made board games and meals even better. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole space just had a really relaxed, homey feel. Brandon was easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly. It was a great spot to unplug and enjoy some time by the water — we’d definitely come back.

I organized a goal-setting retreat with my colleagues and this house could not have been more perfect. The view is amazing, the house is nicely appointed and the layout is great. Everyone felt comfortable. Favorite memory is drinking coffee looking at the water listening to the birds in the morning. Ryan is a superb host - extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and I look forward to coming back!

What an incredible home! It was spotless and instantly felt welcoming—just like being at home. The house was thoughtfully stocked with a wide range of amenities, including baby gear, cleaning supplies, and pantry staples. Shannon and Matt were very responsive when we had a question during our stay. The views were stunning, and although there were neighbors nearby, it still felt peaceful and secluded. Conveniently located close to grocery stores, restaurants, and anything else you might need. I would recommend to anyone. We are already looking forward to coming back!

We had a great stay at Julie’s beautiful home. Her home was even nicer than the pictures. Great kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Open layout so we can all converse no matter what we were doing. Beds were comfortable. But the outside stole the show. The upper deck was spacious and had great views. The hot tub was just what we needed. Then you walk down to the dock and there is enough space for everyone to lay out. Lots of kayaks and paddle boat. Had fun exploring and fishing the lake. Perfect home for families to come together and catch up!! Oh, and the lower level was perfect with ping pong, foosball and tv for late night fun!! Would recommend to anyone wanting to be in the lake region of NH.

Carl and his cohosts were wonderful to work with, quick to respond with any needs. We had a great time this weekend, enjoyed the house and beautiful lake. Hope to return someday and look forward to working with them in the future!

My sister and I were interested in a spending very relaxing weekend in a cozy setting where we could unplug and recharge from the stresses of our every day lives and this place really fit the bill. The setting is lovey and the antique home is filled with charm. We were lucky enough to choose a peak foliage weekend and the views out of the enormous windows were breathtaking. The area itself is also filled with New England charm and lots of places to explore. It all went by too fast but the weekend was exactly what we needed. Out hosts were wonderful. We had absolutely everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying with them in the very private space attached to their home. We definitely plan to stay again!

One of the few airbnbs where the Airbnb is actually nicer than the pictures make it out to be. Very spacious, cozy basement apartment with all the necessities. Great location, close to plenty of trails and a few breweries. We brought our pup who loved the easily accessible dirt roads from the house. It was a rainy weekend so we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit but Laurie leaves you plenty of fire wood.

We had a lovely stay at the condo. It was the most comfy place to get snowed in. We received about a foot of snow the night we checked in and Seasons was very helpful to continually plow and shovel walkways. We explored the property and had fun sledding down hills with our tube. The condo is very clean and comfortable and has everything you may need. It was still decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch as well. The electric fireplaces worked great and were so pretty to look at. All of the furniture was very cozy and comfortable. The carpet throughout is great on cold days. We highly recommend a sleigh ride at Nestlenook farm if staying in the winter. Living Shores Aquarium is down the block and a great place to visit with kids. Diana’s Baths is a short drive away and beautiful to explore in the snow. Our daughter loved seeing the frozen waterfall. There are lots of restaurants nearby. We can’t wait to come back and see it during the summer months.

My husband, three sons (ages 17, 15, and 10) and I stayed at Cynthia's place for two nights on a ski trip to Loon Mountain. It was perfect for our needs. The place is well described on the listing, and the instructions were clear, so everything was as expected. Cynthia's place was clean, comfortable, and a great location. We found it very convenient to get to the mountain and also go out to eat at night. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfast before heading out for the day. It was an easy, comfortable place to stay after a long day of skiing. We would stay again!

I have been visiting Plymouth with my family since my brother went to the University about ten years ago so it will always be a special place. Our stay was great because we were a short walk from Main Street so we could easily visit all of our favorite places! We got caught in a snow storm but the lot was plowed and everything was still accessible which was awesome. We would love to stay here again!!

Easy check in, everything was clean and the place looked just like the photos. I booked last minute and Bridget and Forest were able to accommodate us. Very appreciative. 11 out of 10 would definitely stay again!

Nice place, clean, comfy bed, very well stocked, had everything i needed for a month. I work from home, over the internet. My only recommendation to Alan and Martha is to fix the wifi which went down multiple times per day and disconnect me from my job and conference calls. The first 3 or so times it happened, i called & texted the 2 phone numbers that Alan provided (in a note on the fridge). I also left a voice mail and knocked on their front door. but i never heard back about my text or voicemail. Eventually I unplugged are re-plugged the antenna/router which fixed the issue most times. Sometimes you have to do it 2 or 3 times, but eventually it does work.

We had a wonderful stay for the UNH graduation weekend. Highly recommend, peaceful setting, comfortably furnished, everything we needed. The full kitchen was very helpful and well stocked for needs, and the grounds were relaxing. Walkable to spots in Dover, easy drive to Durham, close to Portsmouth. Very responsive hosts, would love to return!

My Love and I always look forward to celebrating our anniversaries at Alecia’s lovely cabin, and just like our two previous visits, this year’s time there was perfect. We only visit every few years, and each visit, Alecia takes the time to show us the improvement she has made. The additions are always illustrative of her consideration—tiny, thoughtful touches, and new amenities for different guests’ needs. Our weeks at her cabin are an appreciation of peace and quiet, and an opportunity to enjoy each other over books and board games. Alecia maintains the perfect balance of affording us this solitude, while making it clear she is nearby should we need (and indeed, she is always quick to respond). We appreciate Deer Valley Cabin and Alecia immensely, and hope to continue our semi-regular anniversary tradition at her cabin for many years to come.

Stop looking you had found your stay! We had the most dreamy stay at the cabin. My husband and our fur baby had such a memorable weekend. We curled up in front of the fireplace and played scrabble with local wine. Cuddles on the fluffy couch in the rain and watched movies. Cooked on the grill, rocked in the hammock, read books. Truly such a magical stay!

Me and my party enjoyed every minute of our stay at Tom’s cabin! The cabin itself was spacious, cozy, and clean. The surroundings were also beautiful, right next to a nice neighborhood and lake. Thomas was a fantastic host and was extremely friendly and helpful. He was always there to answer questions and help out when needed. Overall, amazing trip and I would 100% go back!

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return! The cabin is lovely. My daughter enjoyed kayaking around the lake. We also enjoyed the science center, Walter’s basin, and birdwatching. Thank you!

Conscious Cabin is the ultimate place for peace and relaxation like no other. The Very close to local shopping, restaurants, hiking, and scenic views. The kitchen is extremely when stocked with all the amenities you need to cook in. As a coffee lover the coffee bar my favorite. Cassouki is a fantastic host. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely vacation here! We plan to stay here again in the future. The river is beautiful and there are great hiking opportunities nearby. The host Michele was very kind and helpful whenever we had questions.

This place was absolutely amazing – clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you could possibly want for a perfect vacation. The fireplace, jacuzzi, spacious kitchen, bunk bed for kids, and outdoor games were all fantastic! The highlight is definitely the location, nestled near the beautiful White Mountains region. I’d love to come back, and next time, I’ll bring my family. This trip with friends was unforgettable!
